I went to this restaurant on 2 separate occasions. The setting is very inviting and decorated how you would envision a standard sit down italian restaurant. The restaurant has very warm lighting as well as a bar with a couple TVs. On one occasion I ordered the seafood risotto, the rice came out under cooked(not good). On that same visit I also had their lobster ravioli, that dish was amazing. It was full of flavor and the serving of lobster was the perfect size for the dish. The appetizer was a spread of various deli items such as olives, cheese and different types of cured meat. This appetizer is a must have! My wife ordered a seafood pasta dish that included mussels clams and scallops. I sampled it and that was also filled with awesome shellfish flavor. The sauce was a white cream sauce. I really enjoyed the food here which is the most important factor when I go out to eat. If you’re looking for a nice sit down restaurant to take your family or significant other I would recommend this place.

Very good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. I was worried because it was empty at first, but the crowd came as we ate, filling the place nicely. Try to go with the groupon deal… It is a bargain!

We came here with another couple because we had a groupon. As another reviewer observed, if it’s empty on a Satruday night, that’s not a good sign. The service is mediocre at best. House bread was ok, so was the tomato caprese app. The foccacia app was dry and boring. I ordered the flat iron steak with penne. The other couple shared same steak with mushroom risotto. We all agreed the steak had a strange taste, pasta was not al dente. My husband’s salmon and gnocchi was salty. I left my plate half full. We were never asked if we liked our meal, if anything could be improved, etc. They didn’t even offer dessert or coffee. It’s a shame that this great space is being wasted. The food is pretty bad, we will never return. Other restaurants on same street, Giralda, were thriving. We’ll go to one of those next time.

The service was amazing! They bring the food out very fast and are very attentive on drinks and how you’re liking the food. Very friendly and caring. Everything is excellent quality !!! If you want«authentic» and good quality Italian food this is the place to go! I recommend the Lobster ravioli, Ciopini, and Calamari dish appetizers but honestly everything there is excellent including the service!!!

We ordered their salad as an appetizer and it was tasty, a steak over baby greens, with avocado and a good home-made dressing. The salmon was good too. Overall, good food and reasonable prices, surprising that it was not too full.

Nice casual Italian restaurant with the usual dishes. Service was good and friendly. Menu was a bit limited and did not include much if any vegetarian dishes. My wife wanted an eggplant dish(very typical italian) which was not on the menu.

Had a great dinner here with my husband. The place is beautiful and has a very nice atmosphere — classy without being pretentious. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer and endive & gorgonzola salad to start. Both were delicious. I especially liked how the calamari was not a bit greasy. As entrees we had the pasta carbonara and the salmon with gnocci — flavored perfectly, beautifully presented, and just the right amount of food. For dessert we had the warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, which was also fantastic! The food is very reasonably priced, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was also a saxophonist playing jazz and bossa nova music — the perfect, non-invasive addition to the atmosphere. The restaurant is right in our neighborhood, so we are thrilled to have found a nice place that we can walk to that isn’t overly crowded, loud, or overpriced(like so many of the restaurants in the Gables are).

Waitress was great and the pastas were good. I like the location and the live music that was playing. Good service and italian pastas.

Great lobster ravioli and caprese salad. Very nice staff. Agree needs more on menu. Their pesto is awesome but they need a pasta pesto dish. Used a groupon here which made it even better.

The restaurant was completely empty on a Friday at 8PM. Even when it was empty we got seated at a bad table. The service was horrible. Our waitress kept coming over and asking questions(should I take the bread away, do you want more space, etc… useless questions over and over again). Plus, she didn’t have much tact and was unsure of the menu items. The food was absolutely horrible. I don’t know how it was reviewed highly on Unilocal. They must have changed chefs or something. The Fried Calamari was chewy and of bad quality. The Supli were bland and the filling was like cheesy rice pudding… just awful. The chicken risotto was the worst chicken dish I’ve ever tasted. The risotto was the same awful goo from the Supli and the chicken was very dry and bland as well. It was dryer by the bone area so that tells me it was put in a microwave before reaching us!!! The lobster ravioli didn’t have much lobster, were drenched in a very thick bland sauce, the pasta was a tad over done and the piece of lobster on top was very chewy. After the appetizers and the meal, we didn’t dare try dessert, so we went to Ice Box. The only highlight of the evening. This was my first time at the restaurant and It will definitely be my last time at the restaurant . I left with a sour note and $ 150 less… not very good.

Very friendly, excellent service !. I just had a Gorgonzola salad that was very good with the mushrooms raviolis that I will rate as «good», some of my friends ordered pizza with very fresh ingredients. I notice though, that the menu will need a little more variety but over all the excellent service and the personal attention from the owners made a big difference. Saturday night the have live music and as the night starts progressing the quiet place turns into a fun, super happy venue, great if you go in a group to celebrate a especial occasion or even if you feel like dancing. I recommend the restaurant, Full bar, good food, entertaining Saturday night and very attentive waiters and owner that will make you want to return.

Lobster ravioli was the best I’ve ever had! Service was great too, also with a superb location close to Miracle Mile. If you like Italian you gotta check this place out!

This is a quiet, eloquent place with a refined menu and a superb understanding of what Authentic Italian cuisine really is. The pizzas and calzones are delicious, and the Suppli appetizer melts in your mouth. My personal favorite is the Carbonara with the lobster ravioli coming in a close second. The wait staff is very attentive, although I’ve never been here when it’s overwhelmingly packed. Overall, this menu is fabulous although lacking variety, which is why it only earns four stars in my book.
