I came into the gables for business and decided to get a quick bite to eat, I am glad that I did. The environment is casual and and relaxing. The food was delicious and fresh. I will be coming back again soon.

My husband and I order from here all the time and we love it. We usually get the Diavola pizza because their spicy salami is excellent. The only bad thing about this place is the customer service. We placed an order for pick up and when I got to the restaurant to pick it up they said they never received. I even showed them my cell phone and the time I called, yet they still said they didn’t receive the order. Sadly, this was not the first time it happened. On the flip side, they were very fast to put in my pizza and had it ready in 15 minutes. So if you’re looking for a yummy pizza I would say go for it but make sure to dine in!

I placed an order from this site. Once I arrived they had not received it. Apparently their fax machine was off. They made my small margeritha pizza order quickly. The service was pleasant. the taste was just above average. The price was average. The location and price was above average.

The pizza was great and the service lousy. I ordered and the person who answered the phone sounded asleep … ordered a small pizza and asked when I should go to pick it up. he said 15 minutes. I went after 20, arrived and was told to wait for 10 minutes more.(parking is difficult in the area and it was raining). then I get the bill, $ 7.50 plus tax — about $ 8.58, I get $ 1.00 back. I asked the same person who took my order, a kid, for the exact change and he told me that their policy is to keep the change and give me the bill. I said something and the manager or owner gave me the 50 cents. It’s the principle, not the 50 cents. Policy not to give exact change??? There were a few tables with customers, about 3 waitresses, a man(manager) sitting at a chair with his cell phone, the kid and the pizzaiolo making the pizza, and a delivery man … Will NOT return. There are other pizzas in the neighborhood. A bit further away but Tutto Pizza’s service, specials and service is excellent. Bottom line: lousy service, delicious pizza,

Although the customer service was a bit poor overall this restaurant was pretty good. I ordered the«saltamiboca» which wasn’t anything like the authentic ones you’d get in Italy but then again it was still delicious so I over looked that. I’d come back although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend.

Closed 30 minutes early on a Sunday night and turned us down with ten other people in the restaurant after we went specifically to their place. Poor form. Luckily, Pummerola Pizza is nearby. This is a disappointment and terrible service too. If you want to close early, tell us on your website

This Pizzeria, located in the heart of Coral Gables, offers half-priced bottles of wine every Wednesday night. In addition, its menu is not only limited to pizza, but it also offers fish, pasta, antipasti, among other things. If you like Nutella try Nutellino, a chocolate calzone. What we liked the most: Melanzane parmigiana(eggplant)

Spritz not to confuse with(Spris Chain) is the best Italian restaurant in Miami dade. The owner is Always on the premises helping his waiting staff & making sure everyone is enjoying their meal! Calamari, fettuccine bolognese, pizza & can’t forget the best lasagna ever! Don’t forget to ask for Limoncello at the end of your meal!

My mom has been raving about Spritz for SUCH a long time that I finally decided to check it out(she tagged along, of course). I’m so glad I did. This place is delish. The pizza margherita was the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s a little too greasy for me, but it’s nothing a little napkin dab can’t fix. The crust is barely-there-thin but soft and oh so flavorful. Their minestrone soup is super simple but in the best way possible, with just the right amount of spice. I definitely recommend!

This has become the place I come when I crave a good pizza made with italian style. The atmosphere of place might look better or worse depending on when you come, it was full a friday night and almost empty a sunday dinner, but the food will never disappoint you. Staff is a bit slow and they don‘t care too well about the customers, I remember asking 5 or 6 times to fix the air conditioning, and another time the complimentary bread came already together with the main order. But then, when the pizza comes you forget everything. The crust is thin but soft, the ingredients are generous, the size of the pizza is really big and fullfilling. Even though pizzas are their speciality, I ordered a pasta(seafood one with clams) and it was far better than I expected, tasty, rich and not heavy but delicious! Prices are not cheap but fair, around $ 18 for the seafood pasta and $ 12 for most of their pizzas, but we ate for $ 35 in total for two people, which is good for a dinner, and left really full. Will come back the next time I want to eat pizza!

Your basic local pizza joint, with decent salads and starters. Not a gourmet joint by any means, but wholly reliable and reasonably priced. Great for kids, and those who are tolerant of kids, as many a family will stop in with their younguns, especially at the earlier dinner hours. Walk by with your nose up if you’re dressed to impress, but if you are hungry don’t hesitate to take a seat and order. Five stars for reliability and reasonableness.

By far the best pizza place in Cables proper. It is shame that they do not have delivery, but all the same. I love the way the prepare and cook their pizzas.

We live in Coral Gables and mostly eat pizza at the South Beach location, we only do take out at this location, anyways, we stop for a bite last tuesday, i really want to eat pizza and my husband want someting alse, so he order pasta. I got the Carbonara Pizza and my husband the Spaghetti alle Vongole, the pizza was okey, not great, in the south beach is way better, the egg was to dry, but the worst was the pasta my husband is a cheff so he know a lot about food, and he could only take two bites, the waiter was extremely rude. He ask if he does not like and the dish and just take out the dish without giving a simple apology, that is what should be done in those cases. extremely rude, impolite and horrible attention, definitely never return to dinner at this place. I do not recommend this place, the food is very bad and especially the attention is horrible.

Spritz is one of my favorite restaurants in the Gables. Love the friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve had salads, meats, pastas and pizzas and they have always exceeded my expectations. My favorite pizza is the«Parma Brie è carcioffi»(prosciutto, Brie and artichokes) because it’s such a cool combination of flavors. The gnocchi here are the bestest, especially with the 4 cheese sauce!

Love the pizza here! It’s so cheap and shareable. Everything is fresh and the service is amazing. My favorite pizzas tend to be simple, but whenever I try something new I am happy I did.

Pretty sneaky business practices. I went yesterday for the beat the clock special but when my bill came, I had been charged full price for my pizza. The reason? I shared my pizza with my child. The waitress pointed out in tiny letters that to get the special, you can’t share. Absolutely ridiculous. Fine, I should have asked, or read better — but also, they could have made an exception since my child only had ONESLICE. I obviously won’t return.

This is NOT Italian food! Their pastas are very very bad but the pizzas are ok, I guess this is why I’m giving this place 2 stars. The service is good and they have some great«beat the clock» deals. I would say that this is way better than going to any pizza chain like dominos or pizza hut(gross!). So, yes… I would recommend it if you’re looking to grab a quick and cheap pizza, just don’t expect a gourmet meal if you order something else.

Good Italian food in coral gables. Everything we had was really good including the calamari, the margarita pizza, the fettuccine with meat sauce. And the dessert is to die got the chocolate calzone with ice cream is a must try if you have room for dessert.

The pizza was good and I’m not usually a thin crust girl. I had the margerita and it had the correct sauce to cheese ratio! The only disappointing item was the French fries, but should I expect great ones from a pizza place The outdoor seating is the perfect place to people watch!

Came here for dinner. Place is a small hole in the wall. Air conditioning was not working. Ordered misa salad and pizza. Salad dressing was too thick. Pizza was thin crust and greasy. There are way too many choices in this area to return.

This is a regular hangout for us. One of several favorites. We make sure it is a Wednesday visit to take advantage of the daily early bird special plus the ½ price wine special. Usually we take ½ our meal home. The owner, Julio and his staff of Marta and Ferney make us feel welcome. Good food at reasonable prices. Great combo.

We came here during Dining Under the Stars. We called on the day of to make reservations, and were told they only had inside seating. That was fine, given how late we delayed to make our reservations. We arrived at 7:45 for our 8pm reservations– the man, who appeared to be the manager, had the reservation list. He showed us he’d already seated a party of 2 with the same name, and skeptically looked at us. It is apparently unheard of for two people to have the same name. There were several empty tables, so he did seat us, but it was all just awkward. Once seated, our table was about 2 inches from the table next to us. We were in each other’s conversations the entire meal. I’m not sure if tables are always this close, or just for special events– but not exactly a romantic feel to it. Our server appeared 2 – 3 minutes after we got our menus, asking us to order, by saying, «Are you ready? What do you want?» We obviously were not ready. We ordered drinks from the limited drink menu(there are more wine bottle options, very limited glass options, and some generic beer options). We started with the calamari, which was delicious. Our entrees came out before we were even half done with our appetizer, which is poor timing. My husband’s lasagna was very tasty but extremely cheesy. My gnocchi was not good. It was larger, denser and heavier than gnocchi should be and flavorless. Perhaps I should’ve ordered it with a different sauce, but the alfredo sauce was bland. Our server never asked if we wanted another round of drinks, came to ask how the food was, or refilled our waters. We had to flag her down just to get the check. I would venture to guess this place may be better on nights that aren’t special events, or less busy times, but I wouldn’t put my money on it.

Went to the restaurant this past Saturday on a date with my guy, and would say the overall experience was average, but it ultimately got the job done(feeding us good food at a fairly decent price and getting us out of there in time for our movie). That being said, there were some areas that need smoothing out. I’m not sure how old the restaurant has been under the new ownership, as I recall going to the former Spris(now Spritz) not so long ago, but my hope is that they will continue to improve and get better and better as time goes on. Here are the good and bad points of our recent experience: Good: When we got in, we were sat very quickly. Bad: Once we were sat, the server did not come to our table to greet us for at least ten minutes, as she first served another table that was sat after we were. There seemed to be no real rhyme or reason to their service methods. Good: I ordered Malbec by the glass which at $ 8 a glass was really good! My boyfriend liked his Tempranillo by the glass as well. Bad: The waitress couldn’t remember which wine was which so originally I was served my boyfriend’s Tempranillo. Good: The menu offered a nice selection of antipasti, salads, pastas, and second courses. Bad: Our main reason for choosing the restaurant was for a special that they had advertised on the Shop Coral Gables website which was that you could get an app, two entrees, and wine for $ 59. When we arrived they had a specific menu you had to choose from to receive the special which had been upped to $ 80, so we just ordered off the regular menu. Good: The Arugula salad we ordered was really good and the ingredients were fresh. They offered us two plates so we could share it. Bad: When we were finished with the salad, the bus boy left the dirty forks for us to use for our next course(though he did bring new ones once requested). Good: The main courses we ordered, Lemon Chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies and Pizza, were both really good. They had great flavor and were served hot, though there was nothing specifically gourmet or unique about them… just good olé Italian food. The portions were large enough that we took home left overs and were able to get a second meal out of it the following day. Price: For one shared salad, two entrees, and two glasses of wine we paid $ 70 including tip, which is what we what we had expected to pay for the special that had originally brought us in, so it worked out in the end, and we got to order exactly what we wanted. Timing: We had a movie to catch afterwards, and were able to get in and out in an hour, on a busy Sat night so despite the service hiccups at the beginning, they made up for it by getting us fed and on our way in a reasonable amount of time. Ambiance: We were seated really close to two other tables, one on our right and one our left. So there was not much privacy, but the place was cozy enough and comfortable, and not too loud so you could hear the person sitting across from you which is a plus! Tips: Recommend if you are going in for a special, to call ahead and get the details by phone since they may have been changed since the original ad went out.

Inconsistent and disorganized service and food. Some things were great– spinach salad and ravioli are both yummy. Pizza was a whole wheat veggie mess, soggy and hard to eat. Ordered some extra sauce which helped. Prices not cheap but its Coral Gables. Would I go back? Yes, but not in any hurry.

Just had my first meal at Spritz. A $ 10-$ 20 price range. Host seated us rapidly but servers were not on point. Recommendations favored more expensive items and portions were much heavier than suggested. No worries, managed to take a great meal home. Tried the pizza diavalo(pepperoni) as well as a pesto-chicken one. Herbs were rather weak and not as emphatic as described on the menu. Absent waiters caused us to get up and locate the crushed red pepper bottles ourselves. Despite the hiccups in service, this restaurant is a must-visit. The ambience is exactly what someone heading to a classy Italian restaurant would fancy. Definitely one o’ the more desirable eateries off Miracle Mile. Looking forward to updating this review after the servers fix up their game!
