I fun place to eat, drink… and paint! We had only heard about JD’s thanks to a Wine and Canvas event and sure glad we did! We showed up to the strip mall and found ourselves in a nicely lit and well put together pub style, restaurant and bar. Great tunes, good drinks, even better staff with friendly smiles, it is hard to pick at anything wrong with JD’s. Again, we had showed up for a wine glass painting event and I sat next to the owner, who I had no idea this was at the time, but as the night went on and we all became better friends, it was all smiles and goodness. We may live quite a ways away, but I know we will stop back when up in the area!

I can’t even begin to explain how much I hate coming to this place. But I do because my family members are regulars here. This is their version of Cheers, where everyone knows their name. The reason I struggle here is that it’s simply not my kind of crowd or music. We all have our likes and dislikes, and it just so happens that my tastes align more with sports bars and micro-breweries. Here’s what you’ll like about this place, if you’re so inclined. They have live music, as well as D.J.‘s. You can smoke. You’ll likely be drinking with a neighbor who lives three doors down from you that you’ve never met before, or bump into one of your child’s grade-school teachers. You can shoot pool or a game of darts. You can cheer with others while watching the big game. If what I said appeals to you and you’re a Coral Springs resident, then I would strongly recommend stopping by and having a drink or two.

Been in twice, not my local bar of choice, but the barmaid remembered me, seem friendly, burger and fries were good, local crowd seemed cool, maybe il soon blend in with the locals if I keep going in, will definitely be back

I’m just going to use 2 words here… GOD, NO. If you’re a local, fine. By local I mean listens to country music in a smoke filled room with no ambition in life. If you’re from out of town and from the northeast part of America like myself, go elsewhere. There is not much in Coral Springs EXCEPT Bru’s Room. Even then, I’d travel to coconut creek’s Bru’s Room, much better. Like I said… There is nothing much for«us» people(mid 30’s, like a good party an fast paced ambience) in Coral Springs/Margate area. I’d rather drive heavily intoxicated to Los Olas area than experience another night like that again

Great place to drink and eat. Staff is awesome as are the owners. Drinks are well priced and the food will surprise you. Come hungry the portions are large and the cooks definitely know what they are doing.

Smoke Filled Dive. Nothing much to this place besides the freedom to smoke your brains out and have a some drinks in a dark space. Dracula would love to hang out here during the daylight hours. They have a great jukebox and service is pretty friendly. I’ve never eaten here and I can’t say that I ever will. No draft beers which sucks and I don’t smoke. Beyond that this place is a hardcore drinking saloon and nothing more. I only recommend this place for people that love to smoke, hang out in Smoke filled area, drink, play the jukebox, enjoy dim lighting during the daytime and who love to smoke. Lol If you like all those things, tell them Dan sent you and Stay Smokey!

Great place for live bands on weekends. During the week they have Texas Hold’em, Pool and Dart leagues, wonderful drink specials and much much more.
