The food was reasonably good and the service was acceptable, but the prices are far too high. I would suggest cutting prices in half. Believe or not you will have more business.

These guys made me a custom dish that was of the menu. Ordered a double order of Guacamole Mexicana with grilled shrimp on top. With a side of tortillas, I wrapped it like fajitas. Good stuff.

This was my first time here, off of a referral. I give it 4 stars only because our service wasn’t the best. Our waitress was pretty slow about checking on us, but the food was delicious. If I lived here, this would be a regular spot.

Nice atmosphere clean and relaxed. Chili Colorado is my favorite Mexican dish, I eat it every where. A word to the wise do not order it here. It is as though they have some kind of pre prepared meat that they use for a bunch of different dishes and just threw some sauce on top of it and called it chili Colorado. The meat was tough chewy and even had some gristle in it chile Colorado should be chunks of meat very tender this meat was as though it was prepared for fajitas thinly sliced. There are simply too many other choices within a one mile or 2 mile radius. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this particular restaurant

This gets five stars because it’s exemplary in what it is. Reasonably priced Tex-​Mex that is quite amazing. Nice variety on the menu, all the standards are there plus a little extra. Every dish is delivered with quality, haven’t had a bad meal there in the seven years I’ve been frequenting. Give a try. Prices are good

Good food! We have been to many Mexican food places since we moved here and this one tasted the best so far. Clean place, staff was friendly and on top of our refills and it didn’t smell like cleaner! I hate when restaurants smell like cleaning products.

Very pleased with everything. The food was great, service top notch, attentive and quick without being annoying. And the prices were very good. I was in Memphis for business and this was one of the restaurants recommend to me. VERY PLEASED!

I am not sure if the Unilocal map is out of date or what but this is a review of the El Mezcal located next to Kroger in Cordova. I usually place my orders to go. When I arrive my food is always ready. Food is always hot and the employees are very nice. They are fast also. Don’t ask for a margahrita to go, they won’t do it. I have tried. Oh, and if you have a large order they will put it all in a big olé beer box so you dont look like a fool fumbeling around with multipul bags or trying to carry to much food.

Love El Mezcal! We frequent this one and the one on 64. Great food, good service and atmosphere.
