Worse dining experience of our lives due to poor service — food was consistent.
Our waiter took 15 mins to greet us and right after asked if we were ready to order our meals — rushing us so bad my girlfriend wanted to leave.
When dinner came we were half way thru our meals and he actually asked us if we wanted desert and if he could box anything up AND if I wanted a tea to go — we thought he was kidding!
Horrible date will never go back to that location.

We went here for my birthday and overall the experience was less than desirable. We went to this location because our local one isn’t very good, apparently you can get the same bad experience at anyone you visit! The steak was tiny, more fat than meat! The soup and salad weren’t good, and neither was the dessert. I have now officially given up on Outback, no matter how good the bread is (which they burnt on the second loaf.)

This is not the restaurant that it used to be. Last time in I ordered the New York Strip, which is my go to steak. The steak was maybe a half in thick and tough. The strip is usually a thick cut of meat this steak was pitiful. My wife ordered the prime rib it was a dried out piece of meat. Outback used to be our go to special occasion steakhouse no more time to move on.

Excellent service tonight, excellent server and the quality of the food was Superb!!!

We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday because she wanted to try the four course option they’re offering (soup, salad, entrée, and dessert) we also ordered a Bloomin’ Onion (best thing we had) I ordered a Huckleberry Hooch cocktail which was amazing. The onion was good when it first came but once it cooled down in got mushy. I’m never expressed with salads, but the potato soup was good for a restaurant. The baked potato side was inedible and the steak had a lot of fat but good taste. The cheesecake cake was tiny in comparison to the carrot cake, which was much better! Our waitress hardly ever came around to our table and when we asked for a second loaf of bread she acted like it was a big deal, and it ended up being burnt! Overall very meh!

I still can’t believe that this was my first visit. Before, I was missing a good Fillet. This review contains accurate details of my dining experience at this moderate to kind of high pricey steakhouse. Let me tell you, this food is all worth it.
Seating
It was pretty quick, we got a deal to two tables, instead of one big one, which we would have waited an hour and a half for, but the wait on this was a sold deal.
Service.
Our waiter defines this review partially, for he was fast, got us what we needed, and was not the one to hesitate on helping. He brought our food exactly how we ordered it, I would say the service was 100% up to par and I would like to commend Outback Steakhouse for having it.
Sanitation.
The booth was clean, the table has no leftover crumbs or open faced sandwiches like some places, but the bathrooms could use a tiny bit of cleaning.
Food.
The food was delicious. I ordered the 6oz Fillet with grilled lobster with sides of a baked potato and fries. The lobster and steak were cooked to perfection, and the sides were cooked nicely as well, with flavor able bacon bits and nice cheesy cheese fries for our appetizer, also with bacon bits. The food all in all was delicious and packed with flavor.
I would have to be an idiot not to give this place a good rating. Four Stars.

Server took 20+ minutes to come to the table, we waited 30+ minutes for the appetizer, and we waited a good amount of time for the entrees as well. Also, the staff (including the managers) were not at all familiar with the items on the menu. Also, An employee dropped some bread on the ground and butter got on the floor. Another employee came by and kinda wiped it up, but butter was smeared on the floor. We watched as multiple employees walked past and looked directly at the butter and Continued walking. The person I was with wiped it off of the floor. Will not be going back again.

It’s the Outback. Food was good but the service was exceptional. I sat at the bar. Drink never ran out and neither did the shrimp. Steak was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was lively and the ballgame was going well.

So, all the reviews said try the wings and I did… They were freaking amazing! They were the star of our meal and next time I will just order those and some soup or salad. Absolutely scrumptious. The Alice Chicken with bacon, mushrooms, and cheese is to die for. I love the atmosphere and our waiter rocked!

Ate there yesterday with a friend. Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. I had a burger which was good. My friend had salmon which looked awesome. I will definitely try the salmon next time. She said it was great. And let’s not forget the Blooming Onion which is always on point!

We have had a very good experience every time we come here. The blooming’ onion is blooming’ good and the steaks are always cooked to order. IT seams like a lot of places I go if I order my steak mid-​rare, which in my opinion is the only way to eat a good steak, it comes back medium or rare. At Outback, they have gotten it right every time. The service is alway good and the place is always clean. One thing, son’t expect to get a real Australian experience, that is not the point. The point is, good food, good service and a good company.

Very satisfied with both the food and the service. If you’re in the gtown parkwy location ask for Melissa F to be your server. She was extremely wonderful and even went as far as to ask if we would like some extra bread and drinks to go. Also generous with refills and quick service. In addition, explained the menu well. I will always ask for her whenever I go back. You will not be disappointed if you do.

Outback used to be THE PLACE! But now their menu has changed up even their serve ware. Not always a bad thing but the quality is not the same. I went there with a business party for lunch and ordered ahi tuna salad as entrée and couldn’t believe the tiny portion size /​it was literally a side salad. And the lettuce was more iceberg than anything. I can get a better salad from Newks or even salad bar at Kroger. Also dessert menu is horrible now. Half the size and doesn’t seem homemade like in the past. Used to be a regular /​no more. Too many changes for me.

I had sirloin and grilled lobster tail.
Sirloin was very tasty, reminded me how much I love the Outback seasoning. Very tender & juicy
Lobster was just okay.

but the lobster could have tasted better.
Would be nice if it was bigger and had more smoke flavor.

We started of with a house and a Caesar salad. They were small but fresh and the dressings were good. My husband ordered the Alice Springs chicken. He sent it back for more cheese. he said it was «okay, not the best he ever had». I ordered the New York strip it was cooked to the proper temperature and it was flavorful with. Ice grill marks. The baked potato had too much salt on the skin. But it was soft and hot. The servers could be more attentive. We had to flag them down for drinks and the check.

I know giving a chain restaurant 5 stars is out of the usual especially for me but, this place actually shocked me. The hostess opened and held the door for us even though it was 17° outside and quickly walked us to a table. She introduced herself which is odd but nice. Our server was Kristie and she was outstanding! Very nice and managed to keep up the perfect amount of conversation not too much and not too little a hard skill for most servers to learn. The manager checked on us three times just quick passes of ‘how is everything?” But it was nice that he appeared to care. Steaks were cooked spot on which also seems to be hard for most places to get. I was pleasantly pleased and surprised customer service goes a long way with me. We will most definitely return.

It took three tries to get my order right and even then, the quality wasn’t very good. I ordered a more expensive steak because I don’t mind paying extra for a more tender filet, but my steak was worse than my companion’s sirloin. There is another steak place, which is comparable in price but much better in quality where we will go from now on. I have been disappointed by Outback too many times to give them another try.

Not the best Outback experience I have ever had, which to be honest is a shame. I have always liked their food and loved the cheese fries!!! I had never had a bad steak at one till I visited this location. To say it was a let down would be an understatement. The steaks were way undercooked and the side salads were frozen (yes frozen). My filet had more sinew in it than I have had in any steak in forever. When I complained a new one was sent out without hesitation. It was as bad at the first one. The third try was better but pretty much raw. When we finally had things settled the manager compt’d our meal (which I did not ask for but was much appreciated).
While the service was great at the bar it was not enough to make me want to go back to this location. To many other great choices in Memphis.

The service from the bartenders is absolutely fantastic.
The food is to expected from a chain. I spend a lot of time traveling so I come to the chains that have «healthy» options. Outback is much better than the Applebee’s or Chili’s in town.

Man — I don’t frequent chains and there’s more than one reason. This place just drops the ball (balls?) all over the place. Food comes out without silverware, appetizers without small plates, burgers cooked incorrectly, steaks cold… You can’t make those mistakes when meat is your claim to fame. Also, they have servers sitting down at your table with you to take your order. When I was in my twenties, ok, cool. When I’m paying 15– 20 an entrée, I expect a little more professionalism.
We went tonight for a birthday dinner, thanks to a gift card I received, and we were consistently disappointed. It started with happy hour confusion and just went downhill from there. A family of five and we were offered one loaf of bread to accompany our incredibly long wait time. My husbands steak was cold, my sons burger was medium rare, at best, when we ordered medium (mom, is it supposed to look like this?). You get the point. I can get bet a better steak dinner at a locally owned place closer to home and the small «upcharge» would be worth it.
