A new member of my list of favorite restaurants in Memphis! Mediterranean cuisine served in the style of Texas de Brazil, i.e. an incredible all-you-can-eat salad and sides bar — and then servers continually walk around serving cuts of different meats — chicken, beef, etc. The atmosphere is dim and romantic with nice, trendy, exotic music. I am deducting one star because they were a bit slow on refills at times and the server appeared to be overworked. If they tightened up the service a bit, it would be a perfect 5 stars.

They have added a full buffet bar with lots of dips, salads, lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves and all that makes this place even more amazing. Love it!

Great place and friendly service. Try everything. A great alternative to blowing your paycheck at TDB. The food is very flavorful and the grilled pineapple for dessert is the perfect ending to the meal.

Love bringing my friends from out of town here. The meats are seasoned very well, so flavorful. Their potatos and baba ganouch(don’t know how to spell it) are my favorite from the all you can eat salad bar. The grilled pineapples are simply delish and a great close to a wonderful meal.

After hearing about this place time and again, we finally made it out. I couldn’t be more pleased we did. At $ 15 for lunch, it simply cannot be beat. The meats are fantastic and they keep them coming. The salad and hot bar are worth the price alone, though! Wonderful service and completely fantastic food. Cannot wait to get back.

Went here with a group of friends and had a great time. Like many people said, it’s similar to Texas de Brazil. The food was awesome and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be returning! Keep in mind that they do not serve alcohol but you are allowed to bring your own in. Just don’t drink too much beer because you’ll want as much room for the food ;)

This place should get more publicity. All you can eat meat and better yet an amazing new salad bar that includes hummus, grape leaves, tabouleh, and so much more! Oh, and let’s not forget the incredibly delicious dessert; grilled pineapple! A lot cheaper than Texas DE Brazil and so much better!

This place is awesome! I’ve heard it’s like a cheaper Texas de Brazil and I have to agree. I dragged hubby here while we got our windows tinted at the nearby XLT. Hubby and I checked out the salad bar and got a ton of stuff but my favorite was the date. I don’t think I’ve ever had a date before! It was so sweet! They brought us all four of the lunch meats: bone-in chicken, beef kabob, boneless chicken, and steak. My favorite was the boneless chicken which was yellow and had some nice spices in it. For dessert they have a roasted pineapple with sugar and cinnamon on the outside. It’s definitely a unique experience. Hubby was so impressed with all of it he wants to bring his family here rather than Texas de Brazil as their Christmas present. Loved: — Chicken(boneless) — Chicken(boneless) — Date — Dolmaka — Grilled Zucchini — Macaroni Salad — Rice — Shrimp — Tabbouleh Salad — Tannoor Grill Spicy Sauce Ok: — Fatoush Salad — Feta Cheese — Grilled Eggplant — Grilled Pineapple — Lentil Soup Disliked: — Beef Kabob — Babaganoush — Fatoush Dressing — Stuffed Pita

Love it! They have added a salad bar with many great items to try. Even has a lentil soup that was good. Meats were great as usual and the service was awesome as every other time. $ 15 at lunch. Hard to beat deal. I have to remember more often to come eat here!

Came here with the girlfriend for Halloween night, and there was nothing to be scared of. The restaurant was almost empty, but the service was still good. The waiters were very friendly and constantly asked us if were okay. The«salad» bar is amazing. They have several kinds of Mediterranean salads, shrimps, hummus, soup, meat, and bread, and everything tastes great. The meats were also fantastic. It did take a while to come out, but once they got it going it was great and before we knew it they were the ones encouraging us to try some more(we were FULL). They brought us a sort of glazed pineapple for dessert and it was pretty good. This a much cheaper, equally good option to Texas de Brazil and we will definitely visit again in the future.

Mother-in-law raved about this place and treated us to dinner tonight. On the way to Cordova, I was skeptical such good food could be in a small strip-mall off Gtown parkway. I was wrong! This place is legit! The staff was courteous, attentive and informative. The owner is cool — trained in Montréal, serves food too, talks to guests, etc. The«salad bar» is actually where some of the best homemade Caesar dressing in town can be found. Not to mention the baba ghanoush and marinated shrimp. Those marinated shrimp — heaven! Once seated, staff bring out the meat starting with chicken, beef kabobs(like Bosnian Cevapcici), then proceed into fine cuts of meat. Tonight they served lamb, sirloin, filet, and prime rib. None of which was salty nor over cooked. Simply perfect! And they allow you to bring your own wine and do NOT charge a corkage fee! Freaking awesome place!

This is a great place to celebrate special occasions especially if you don’t mind trying new things along side of the traditional. And it doesn’t have to be for a celebration, just a nice quiet night out. Liquor is not served here, but guess what, BYOB is allowed. And there’s not a cork charge. They’ll keep your wine chilled and will provide wine glasses. We didn’t do it but a neighboring table had theirs. Also if your pockets and pocketbooks are looking a little lean(who’s doesn’t from time to time) then go for lunch when the price is $ 15. The lunch menu is reduced to only four(4) meats instead of eight(8). The serving style is the same as Texas de Brazil. And the servers are all personable which I really like. So go, check it out and see for yourself.

I mean… I’m not even sure where to start. 2 days later and I’m still full. If you are one of those people who love Texas de Brazil but since it’s a bit dressier and pretty pricey you only go once a year, this place is for you. Think Texas de Brazil on a smaller scale. They just added a salad bar(I believe it officially has 30 items but I didn’t get NEAR that much) There’s homemade hummus with pita bread on it. Delicious! Once you’ve had a moment with the salad bar the meat parade starts. And it doesn’t stop. Servers come to your table and offer you 9 different kinds of meat on skewers(sirloin, filet mignon, shish kabobs, chicken leg, chicken breast, lamb, ribeye, just to name a few). Once you’ve had your fill, the coup de gras is brought out. Roasted pineapple coated with cinnamon and sugar. To die for. We went at dinner and it was $ 30 a person. The owner told us at lunch it’s $ 15 a person, but they only serve 4 kinds of meat. Still a bargain if you ask me. The owner was waiting tables, which I liked. Made him seem really down to earth that he was out there working with his employees. The rest of the staff was super nice as well. The downside? No alcohol. You can bring your own wine at dinner with no corking fee. I would have given them 4 stars instead of 5 for this but honestly the food is so good I wouldn’t want to waste calories or room in my belly for anything other than water.

The staff are welcoming and professional, atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and then it all starts to happen for a fantastic lunch. Sooooo, a great fresh salad, baba ganoush, humus, pita, meatballs, sirloin, chicken legs, chicken breast, and this smokin’ sweet pineapple. Fresh, delicious and all you care to eat for just $ 14.99. They have some of the best humus anywhere, authentic fresh spiced dishes and you just cannot help but enjoy it all. These folks are eager to please and pull it off very well. I plan to be back here very soon for the dinner experience. Do yourself a favor and make this a lunch stop for yourself, nothing but goodness.

Tanoor Grill is amazing! They have steaks, chicken, beef, and lamb. They serve it non-stop, Texas-Day Brazil style. For sides they have salad, potatoes, and pita bread. Sauces include hummus and ba ba ganoosh. You can ask for garlic dipping sauce, which we did. The food is very tasty. The potatoes are seasoned very well; their steaks(top sirloin and ribeye) were good, too. I enjoyed their lamb, and their beef and chicken are both delicious! For their desert, we had the grilled pineapple, which had hints of sweetness that made it unique and flavorful. The restaurant is authentically decorated, with low lighting to enhance the atmosphere. Middle-eastern music completed the backdrop. I have never been treated to this much meddle-eastern food since I was fed by locals in Iraq!

I hate traditional fancy pants places on Valentine’s Day, aka amateur night, so we went here. On the busiest dining out night of the year only half the tables were full at a time, and that is apparently by design so don’t get scared if you go on a normal night and its not a full house. Upon arrival we were seated and our drink orders were taken. Our server was quick to come introduce himself and then the food began: salad, tabuli, pita, hummus, baba ganush and potatoes — yum! Within no time the meat parade began: sirloin, ribeye, filet, lamb, kabob, chicken breast and chicken on the bone. Honestly, it would be impossible to label one my favorite as they are all good! Make sure you ask for the dipping sauces — there are three and its fun to experiment and see which sauce /meat combination you like the best. Because $ 30 can be a little pricey I asked about other options turn out there are several: 1. Just the appetizers 16 2. Chicken and lamb 20 3. Salmon and shrimp(not all you can eat) 22 4. Lunch, which does not have ribeye, filet or lamb but does have a ground beef pita 14 All over the servers were friendly without being intrusive and when we slowed down on the meat they were sure to ask if there were any we were looking for. The flow of meat was good and it never got cold by the time we got it, a major plus. The interior is dimly lit and simply decorated. A nice night out but you can come dressed casually and it’s not a romantic vibe. We’ll be back for sure!

If you love MEAT, you will love this place! They shower you with a large selection of meat cooked to perfection and seasoned to satisfy anyone’s taste buds. They served lamb, chicken legs, chicken breast, sirloin, ribeye, and beef kabobs. All the selections were delicious but my favorites were the chicken legs with a nice char and the ribeye. To back track a bit, they started the meal with a fresh tomato, lettuce and cucumber salad, tabouli salad; followed by pita bread, hummus, baba ganoush and roasted potatoes. I love hummus, but I was luke warm to theirs. However, their baba ganoush was absolutely delicious. The staff was amazingly accommodating, friendly and efficient. They seemed genuinely happy to be there and to be serving their delicious food.

Dropped in on a Monday night as part of a Unilocal elite event. I had heard good things, but came in with low expectation as most«all you can eat meat» type concepts generally offer over-salted, over-cooked options. Texas de Brazil, I’m looking at you. We entered to find a nice dimly lit dining room with beautiful art adoring the walls, and a well kempt, welcoming staff dressed in black. We were politely ushered back to our table where we were promptly greeted for drink service. Once everyone was settled in, the parade of flavor began. Early rounds of baba ganoush, hummus, pita, etc were excellent and aesthetically pleasing. From there the dinner shifted into overdrive with waves of chicken breast & leg, lamb, sirloin, ribeye, meatball, etc. As we progressed I quickly realized they not only didn’t try to mask the flavor of subpar meats with an overkill of sodium… But they actually knew how to cook each meat to optimal done-ness. The ribeye and sirloin seemed to have been cooked in some sort of «zone» system so they could carve anything from medium rare to well done, based on your preference. Very impressive and a substantial upgrade over other churrasco-type establishments. Overall, I came away very impressed. The décor, service, and food exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back. Thank you guys for hosting an exceptional event.

Winner winner endless meat dinner. Holy cow, y’all! Literally. Like everyone has stated this place is just like Texas de Brazil but hella cheaper. And soooooo good. Definitely did not expect to be as in love with this place as I am when I pulled up to the strip mall. Strip malls have really been surprisingly me lately… never thought I’d be saying that… Anyways, the lunch is phenomenal… I think it is $ 14 for basically all you can eat meat. It comes with hummus and a salad plus delightful grilled pineapple at the end. The people who work there are incredibly nice and I just wish I lived closer to here(or rather, I wish they were closer to me). Can’t wait to come back for dinner.
