I ordered a German Chocolate Cake and a Butter Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze for my wife’s retirement dinner party. The cakes were huge, triple layer cakes and were outstanding. Everyone at the dinner party really enjoyed them. I will make sure I refer anyone I know to Heart 2 Heart Bakery and Café to enjoy an incredible array of desserts as well as for the live entertainment.

Great little spot to grab coffee or tea and cake and catch up with your girlfriends. Great selection of yummy cakes, and cupcakes. Awesome service too. Love the smiles.

I like this place. It doesn’t have a huge selection, but it’s fair. Cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. The food is great. Price seems reasonable. I stop by anytime I am in the area.

This is a great little hidden gem! The«sunshine delight» cake is delicious and the blueberry muffin was among the best I’ve ever had. The inside is very homey and the owner is wonderful, very friendly and very helpful. It can be a little hard to spot despite being right off Old Statesville Road, so I’ll also stress to look for the little pink cupcake flags.

My husband and I love Marilyn’s Heart 2Heart Café. Sunshine Delight is our favorite cake. Whenever we have visitors we take them to Marilyn’s. I’ve attended birthday parties and other events at her establishment. Marilyn is a wonderful person and quite the baker – I always feel so welcomed in her establishment. Did I mention the Sunshine Delight cake? Yummmmm– my husband is not well right now and there are many things he doesn’t eat anymore – he still loves Marilyn’s Sunshine Delight! Try it out – you’ll become a fan.

yummy cake. I’ve been there a couple of times; first time, a piece of «Sunshine Delight» cake with. pineapple if I remember?(I really don’t remember anything about what was in it, only that it was. sooo good). Just now, a slice of coffee cake — sooo good. Tastes like Mom used to make, except that it’s not dry(shh, don’t tell Mom). It’s on the west side of 115 in an anonymous-looking brick building south of Bailey Rd(between I-77 exits 25 and 28), north of a «Suds n Shine» carwash and south of Mikeworth Financial Services. From the road, it’s hard to tell it’s there(the entrance is on the north side of the building), but there are little pink cupcake mini-flags stuck into the ground.

Delicious cakes and cupcakes with a large variety of flavors. My favs are the red velvet and chocolate cupcakes. The owner is a sweetheart and this is a hidden jewel in Cornelius! Thanks to my baby shower cupcakes being so delicious that I found this place through my friends.
