This place is amazing!!! Blueberry muffin and the sticky bun are our favorites! Its family owned and the family could not be any nicer!
I will say this to the bakery in hopes they read this, that there is a very distinct extract you use in all your products. I think its almond. And it over powers the donuts. I personally cant eat them because all i can taste is the extract. Not that thats much of an issue for anyone else, the case is cleared out all the time. But i think you should try just taking it out and seeing. My friendly food critic opinion :) regardless, this place is amazing!

They made an iron man cake for my son’s 3^rd birthday and it was amazing. The frosting was so light and the cake was delicious, not to mention the amazing chocolate curls, chocolate ganache, and chocolate covered strawberries! Iron man was hand drawn and looked fantastic. The cake was also so much less expensive than private cake bakers and so much better than a fondant cake. I highly recommend the bakery shoppe!

Really good donut and Danish on our first visit today. For such rich looking pastries they did not skimp on flavor by adding too much sugar. Friendly service and a cute area to hang out. Nice assortment of hot tea flavors (Stash and Twinings bags.)
The cakes look amazing, too. We will be back.

This is a great local bakery in the Huntersville area. I needed to grab pastries for a business meeting, and the owner was incredibly helpful in putting together a box of deliciousness for me! My clients loved it, and we signed them as a new partner! Thank you Bakery Shoppe!

I love donuts. Like donuts could be my best friend. There is just something so delicious and tantalizing about a perfect donut. These donuts are out of bounds. So out of bounds that I am mad at myself that I don’t go more often but having donuts as a best friend is also bad for your health — so all things in moderation. But if I could, I would eat these donuts every day. EVERY DAY.
The hunt for local donuts in the Charlotte & Surrounding areas is fairly small prior to my previous living areas but with places like the Bakery Shoppe, it definitely makes up for it.
The donuts actually taste like donuts. The dough is excellent, the toppings not too sweet. It is a balance of perfection. They were not dry, they were fresh and actually held up for a few days too. The donuts sell out pretty fast! I learned that on our visit when we wanted something else but the people in front got the last. So learn from me, if you come for donuts on the weekend come early!
I can’t wait to come back and try a cake because I will definitely utilize their services for cakes. If the donuts are amazing then the cakes have to just be as good.

Fantastic. Went in to get a coffee and a pastry stuff was so good left with $ 30 dollars worth of boxes. I will be back when I come down from the Triangle.

Omg! These donuts were so moist. Best in charlotte and I’ve tried a LOT of donuts in charlotte. A bit of a drive from the city but worth it if you take some home for later. I had a glazed donut and I’m going back next week (I only get one cheat day per week).

We ordered our son’s birthday cake from The Bakery Shoppe and I must say it was great. Ordered a chocolate cake with fudge frosting. Highly recommend you order the cakes or cookies from this bakery, as its the best in the area. The staff is very friendly as well.

I love this place! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious! My favorites are the cinnamon sticky bun, cut out cookie and the fruit/​cheese danish. The cinnamon sticky bun was the best one I’ve ever had! I encourage everyone to give that a try. My office loves to pick up the large fruit/​cheese danishes. Perfect for a crowd and there’s never any leftovers. You can’t go wrong!

After finding this place on Unilocal I asked my husband to order my birthday cake here. So happy I did! We got the strawberry shortcake cake and it was the best cake I’ve ever had! The whipped topping was light and fluffy, the whole strawberries were fresh and the white cake was moist. We got a couple of snickerdoodle cookies when we picked up the cake and those were yummy too (very soft, just like we like them)! Highly recommend this mom and pop bakery!

Moved here almost a week ago. This shop was recommended to me by a lady I met in the nail salon. She raved about this place and I see why! As I write this review I am eating the most delicious donut I have ever had. EVER! I also purchased chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies and strawberry cream muffin. The cookies are super soft! Can’t wait to taste. I bought enough to share with my husband but there may not be any left!

Just moved to town a few weeks ago. I saw all the other positive reviews and decided to try it to surprise my wife on Valentines Day. We were both very pleasantly surprised. I walked in and the gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful. We tried a slice of fudge cake, a slice of another chocolate cake I can’t remember the name, a blueberry muffin, and chocolate nut muffin. All were extremely delicious and we can’t wait to go back and try more things. Unfortunately we will have to work off all the calories of this past visit first.

I have not tried everything from this establishment, but everything I *have* picked up has been excellent. Some people will see the prices as being a little high, but once you actually take a bite, you realize that the portion size is bigger than you expected for most everything there, and the taste is better than you’d expect to come from a bakery in a strip mall. The building needs a sign on the actual building though (not just decals on the windows/​doors) to make it stand out from the other, less desirable businesses nearby.
I have no reason to try other nearby bakeries, this one is just that good.

I have been doing business here for years. I use them exclusively for my Company functions. Fudge Fantasy is the BEST ! Actually, all the cakes are delic !!

They have the BEST eclairs I have every had. My sister and I love splitting an éclair when we are both home, but almost every other dessert I have had here was fabulous as well.

The brownies… oh the brownies… fantastic. The muffins are great as well, especially the pumpkin and the cranberry. The cakes look gorgeous. I can’t wait to find an excuse to try them also. Good stuff.

Bought a birthday cake here for my daughter.
They helped us design a two layer cake. With her favorite thing on it, cats.
My daughter and the other kids loved it. The parents were asking where we bought it. It was really excellent.
Will definitely get cakes here going forward.

The staff member was kind enough to allow us to come in at 6 pm (closing time) to purchase a snack. All of the goodies looked quite delectable and some of the spots in the bakery cases were empty (a good sign). We left with some oatmeal raisin cookies and a thumb print cookie oozing with chocolate. I intended to have a bite of an oatmeal raisin but ended up devouring the whole thing. The little one devoured the thumb print, I didn’t even get a good look at it. Needless to say, we will stop in again at this bakery. The bakery is a nice, comfy, homey place to sit and have cake or cookies with coffee on a nice cool day.

I was doing a job in Huntersville when my client brought in a box of chocolate covered strawberries for his wife for Valentine’s Day. Feeling guilty I hadn’t gotten my wife anything yet, I asked where he got them. He directed me here. I obliged my wife the same. She is happy… so the whole family is too of course. Thanks The Bakery Shop for saving the day. Great bakery.
