Big Lots always has what I need. The employees are super nice and helpful to me. The prices are great for the type of supplies I buy. When I go in there they have anything and everything I could need including wind chimes, buckets, pool supplies, pet supplies, food, drinks, electronics, and even makeup! I love to go to Big Lots in my spare time!

So, I was given a receipt to take a survey but I lost it. I figured Unilocal is the next best thing. Especially since other clients can see it. Big Lots is one of my favorite places. I’ve never really paid attention to the service everybody has been pleasant enough. However, today somebody really stood out to me. The cashier Rose was smiley, friendly, and went above and beyond. Here’s how… first she looked up my rewards card, used my name, asked me about my day and was just so nice overall. Then, she asked if I wanted my energy drink left out to which I answered yes. She then got a paper towel and wiped off the top of my drink for me stating that sometimes they get dusty in transport. After this she walks around the counter to hand me my bag. I would steal her to work for my business if it wasn’t so far away. Rose is an excellent asset to your team and I do wish her great success with your company.

This Big Lots location has not been my favorite since it opened. It is not as well organized as other locations and each time I’ve been there I found the staff to be not very pleasant. I know why now, and (as is always true) the problems with the staff rest squarely on the shoulders of the manager. My most recent (and last) visit saw him in action — barking out orders to them in front of customers, in fact barking AT customers in a rude uncivil tone. On that visit you would have thought that it was midnight at a Walmart on Black Friday … he was fr-​eeking out at the huge crowds waiting to check out. The only problem is that there were no huge crowds, only about 10 people, and he was so far over his head trying to manage so few people he was turning the checkout lanes into turmoil.
I’ll keep this short, the manager at this location is the bottom line reason I won’t shop here again. Nice going … dude, your job is to build customer relations, not destroy them!

I have never been a fan of Big Lots, generally because they are usually cluttered messy and dirty. They are usually in not so nice of areas which is a drawback also. With that said I have been to this location about 4 times. Two of those times being just this week. I found some cool solar lights that were inexpensive for around my pool. And I won’t feel bad if they break during our infamous dust storms. I also purchased some cheap chairs for the lake. This store is relatively new and it seems clean and organized. The girl at the register was very very polite. I am sure I will be back.

I come here for small appliances and floor cleaners. The refurbished equipment hasn’t failed me yet, but they are significantly cheaper than buying new or even online. They always have something on sale for the week too. Picking up a carpet cleaner for $ 40, it’s over $ 100 brand new.
Not everything is a steal, but with a little research, big lots is awesome.

Surprise, AZ
Just opened. Get in fast to get the best of the products that they have. Store is clean, employees are nice. It’s new! Give it until Christmas to be a disaster much like WalMart next door.
