We got 2 dishes. A Falafal platter and a Chicken skewers platter. Both dishes were really good. The rice they gave us with the dishes was quite different and nice compared to other middle eastern restaurants. The portions were quite big :) Very cordial staff. The only thing they need to improve is the speed of their service. I will definitely visit this place again :)

Food was good. Not really anywhere to sit and eat it. They enough space for about 4 people to sit inside and 4 people outside. I’m glad I got it to go. The portion was pretty go big I was able to make two meals out-of it. In would come again.

Incredible chicken shawarma — truly great. Reminds me of the best places in Europe. Hard to find at this quality in SoCal. What a tasty, generous YUMMY sandwich. A very nice owner and staff make you feel at home. This is a tiny storefront– maybe no more that 600 sq ft. But the food and flavors that it generates are big! Treat yourself to a wonderful eating experience.

I’ve only had 3 things on the menu… I’m totally hooked… sorry for the lack of details .I highly recommend the lentil soup… has some curry mixed in. The best I’ve ever had .Bye Bye chronic Taco and your irritating music and long lines .i

Every time I come here, they hand out samples of different things they offer while I’m waiting for my food. The flavor of everything here makes my mouth explode! If you love Mediterranean food or anything with flavor, come try it out! It’s fast and easy to take home! So glad they came to CDM to offer some more variety!

This place is not short on flavor and it really is quite good. Any time someplace opens in CDM that is not a bank(seriously why so many banks??) I am compelled to try it and especially love to support local businesses. This is a great but small family owned place and they have llimited seating so take out is a good option. We got the gyro plate which comes with tabouli, hummus and pita. The meat is very flavorful and it is serve over rice. The spice mix is strong and balanced — you taste garlic, salt cumin, pepper, oregano etc. It is a lot of food and could easily be shared. We also tried the beef kabob sandwich. This was excellent and well balanced with tahini, onions, tomatoes and pickles. What we really especially appreciated was the thin, light and fresh pita. We called ahead and everything was ready right on time and hot. I will definitely go here again!

The food was so delicious with good portions. I got Chicken Shawarma plate and it was filling. The owner and the cashier were very nice and welcoming. We even got two samples to taste. The lentil soup sampling was very tasty. I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant.

I’m a big guy and eat a lot. I was afraid the Shawerma sandwich wouldn’t fill me up. My God was it huge! I had Beef and a few bites from chicken, they were booth grilled to perfection. Definitely worth every dollar! The owner was very generous with his complimentary Falafel bites and lentil soup samples.

AMAZINGLYGOOD. So fresh and tasty. I can’t stop thinking about the eggplant plate. It’s crave-inducing. As a vegetarian, my options here are falafel, eggplant plate and hummus. One day, when they had sold out of the eggplant plate, the owner gave me a sample of the eggplant salad, which was so good I ordered it on the spot. I don’t even like hummus, but I LOVE theirs. It’s completely different from supermarket hummus. Tremendously nice family and I wish this business all the success possible.

Great Mediterranean food! Let me start of by saying that I eat ALOT of Lebanese food. I always judge based on the hummus and tabouli and both were excellent. Service was great as well. A welcomed addition to the CdM village! Looking forward to going there again very soon!

Grand Opening today so the price piont is crazy low for the regular items. I found the food hot and very good for a takeout bent Mediterranean menu. Regular price puts in in line for the area. This is a perfect location next to Chronic Tacos, both high quality ethnic foods with a big to-go feel. Very nice welcome when I came in. Good luck and welcome.

This yummy little gem in CDM is truly appreciated. There are so few«mom & pop» places here that serve authentic food & the family that owns this is just wonderfully amazing. They have a passion to make your food exactly how you want it I feel it’s cruel to be so harsh in someone’s first a couple months of biz so to all you haters shame on you! They would have made it right no matter what they had to do! Unilocal shouldn’t be abused to bash small, local businesses that have put their heart and soul into their dream, good thing people who are just mean aren’t regarded on here as being a credible reviewer. I actually find myself craving this place daily & succumb to my cravings multiple times a week! So… Give them a chance CDM, they are worthy of your palette! Also give them a chance to get to know their locals & work out minor kinks that do not obstruct the amazing flavor that is here waiting for you every day, they are working hard to please us all! Best wishes for years of success to come to you Damasq! We will support you often!!!

After a few visits for lunch @ damasq café, i can finally write my review! As an Arab who grew up in a Mediterranean kitchen, I’m always disappointed by the blandness of local gyros and kabobs(whether in Seattle or Socal!!). I began to feel that I will never quite have that satisfying, mouth watering chicken shawerma that I grew up eating in the streets of Damascus. I was beyond ecstatic to learn that CDM’s first Arabic food joint opened its doors few weeks ago! I knew i had to give this place a shot since their food is claimed to have flavors of Damascus! Upon entrance you’re greeted by a beautiful family that welcomes you and offers you samples(I tried their green bean special sample and a eggplant«mousakka» — both were delishhhhhhh). I knew that I wanted to order a chicken gyros plate with salad, but i decided to also taste the beef. As a person who is not really into beef, i have to say it was quite exquisite. The young sweet lady(who is the daughter of the owner) also recommended something from their«secret» menu… ready for this? SHAWARMAFRIES *MIND. BLOWN* forget everything you know about fries and treat yourself to this concoction of PERFECTION! Shawarma fries consist of fresh made french fries, shawarma white sauce, habanero sauce, shredded lettuce, onions and parsley seasoned with sumac, hot chicken shawarma, topped with this secret red spice that their father makes(tasted some zaatar and paprika, i believe). Now i know you can also customize your fries and add whatever you like– but i am so happy i ordered it as is it was on the menu(coming from a girl that loves to customize!). The chicken gyros plate was spectacular. I dont eat bread so i ordered it over a bed of tabbouli that was flavored JUST.RIGHT. I can confidently bring my ARAB mother here and be confident that she will leave happy. I will definitely be back for the falafel off their«veggie lovers» menu :) overall, Food– 5⁄5 customer service– 5⁄5 cleanliness– 5⁄5 and i really love the flexibility. They are willing to make you what you like just to have you leave happy :) I’ll definitely be back and will possibly order lunch for my next brunch/party!
