This place is a waaayyyy over priced. Their large Icee is $ 3! I know gas stations aren’t known for being bargain friendly but this place is by far the most expensive gas station I’ve ever been to

I took a trip to wine country in Temecula and did not plan out my gas mileage correctly. I had to stop here on the way home. The gasoline at this station was .59 a gallon more expensive than the other gas stations in the area because I didn’t have cash or my ATM card. Not cool Shell. I had to come here out of necessity. I was feeling hungry and picked out my «go to snack» of orange cream hostess snack cakes from the megamart. When I was wrung up it was $ 2! Jeez, Shell just raked me over the coals. I feel like I got taken advantage of twice. This gas station is in a very populated area, so it’s not like they have to ship gas or food in from out of the area and pay extra. Next long drive, I will plan my MPG better and not go to a Shell station.

This gas station always has at least 2 gas pumps NOTWORKING! The workers that stop with their trucks just sit and eat at the pump! Good luck getting a receipt ! Tonight 3 pumps were not working!

Was in here tonight, usually the employees are decent but I encountered the rudest jerk I couldn’t believe it. He was tall, young, arrogant and dorky, but you could tell thought he was charming. When your black people don’t take your complaint serious so I didn’t bother calling management. But eventually he’ll cross the wrong white person and they’ll get him fired.

BIGTIME Bummer, that I’m writing a one star review, and I didn’t even get to try the food. I made a special trip over to Big Al’s to try it — all of the Unilocalers seem to think that this place is great so I thought that ti would be worth the trip. So, at 11am I show up and am promptly greeted by «I’m not the deli counter girl». Okay…“She won’t be back until 12:30″. Oh, I say. She offers up the 8 or 9 sandwiches in the cooler that she says are freshly made. Which isn’t what I came for, I came for something that was made-to-order. What this young girl does NOT do, is apologize — even after I told her that I made a special trip. She certainly does not offer to make me a sandwich. So, if there was some kind of emergency, great, I get it. But the girl who was left to make apologies was clearly incapable of doing so, or just didn’t care. Either way, without having even tried the food, I have a very bad taste in my mouth. The sign out front says ‘Family Owned and Operated’. Well, the owners have a problem here, I just wonder if they know about it.

Amazing subs. They use top quality bread which has to be why they taste so good and the specialty sauce that is amazing. Right now my top sandwich place. It’s addicting I can’t help myself and stop by everyday on my way home

Asked for a sandwich at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. Lady told me they were closed and she couldn’t make me one. as she’s making a sandwich for someone else. I guess it’s hard to find good help these days.

Be careful with the car wash. Sometimes it works just fine, other times, the undercarriage wash doesn’t work, or the dryers stop early.

Restrooms are disgusting. I stopped here on my way back from Vegas and I almost hurled when I walked into the restroom!

The coffee station they have there is unbelievable. All the creamers you can think of, caramel, chocolate sauce everything. whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows, and so much more.

Don’t pass Big Al’s up because it is in a gas station… subs are fresh and delicious. I had a chicken and bacon sub and my husband had the roast beef. Basic selection of veggies and white or wheat bread. They do have a good variety of sauces(we tried a chipotle ranch today that was really good). I think it was about 8 bucks for a large sub, a bit more than some chains, but the sandwiches are huge and filling! I was full after a half. The lady who made our sandwich was really nice and made our food quickly. This gas station is an awesome rest stop. They have tons of unique sodas and a beer selection that is better than most grocery stores. We definitely know where we will be stopping to fill up on fuel and food from now on!

This station should be boycotted. Shell cards don’t even work at the pumps. The cashier’s response. Gee sorry! Usually the price of gas is higher here than the closest shell station on Ontario. We only come here because it is closer to our home. Never again.

The hours are limited… and closed on sundays. Kinda makes it hard for us to come in for a sandwich with our schedule. Stopped in on a sunday morning and luckily still had some sandwiches pre-made from the night before. Still quite tasty… i can only imagine how good they are when they are fresh. Hopefully next time I can be there when their made… and then give you guys 5 stars! Keep it up!

Gas is much more expensive than other nearby locations, and they charge a premium of $.20 per gallon to pay with credit. This is not a quick pitstop location either, it is very inconvenient to get in and out. I do NOT recommend this place for gas!!!

I have been looking for a great place to get weekly catering for our office in Corona for a while now. I checked all over Temecula, Lake Elsinore and Riverside area for a great caterer that will exceed our weekly catering needs. I was lucky enough to find Big Al’s Subs in Corona. Their sandwiches were very delicious and breads soft and fresh. I placed my order and it was ready right on time when I arrived to pick it up. Big Al’s Subs is located inside of the Shell gas station on Temescal Canyon Rode next to Tom’s Farm, making it convenient because we bought refreshments when picking up our sandwiches. We total recommend Big Al’s to anyone and have become a weekly loyal customer for all our catering needs I Love this!!!

Quite simply put, how can you go against a place that uses Boar’s Head meat? Being from New York City, I am a big fan of Boar’s Head and am always delighted to see a place outside of New York that serves it. I would rate this much higher, but let’s be clear, it’s in the middle of a Shell gas station. If you want a quick sub to go with very high quality meat and tasty sauces, then give this place a try.

To keep it short… this is my favorite place to purchase gas. There’s a lot of pumps, and the liquor store has a lot of stuff you can buy. It’s the type you can walk in to prior to a long trip, and really stock up your cooler. The major plus? It’s right off the freeway!

**Road-Trip Diversion** If your on the road everyday like me sometimes you just need one-stop shopping. You know, Fill your tank with gas, a clean restroom, a cold drink and a snack or something to keep you going til you have time for something decent. I know, your thinking AM-PM…wrong…most of the ones I have been to are crap. So, I knew this Shell Station and C-Store was on the East side of the 91 at Temescal. Although the last time I was here maybe 2 years ago it wasn’t memorable. WOW, this time it was really memorable. In fact it’s one of the top 10 C-Stores I’ve been to? Double WOW there’s a Deli Inside… no way… actually…yes WAY! So, the C-Store is awesome and clean… trust me… they got what ‘ur lookin’ for. I’ll focus the rest of my already too long review on the deli. The Deli… pretty darn good. Made fresh with Boars Head Meats. A specialty here is the spreads, I had Blue Cheese Dill on my Roast Beef Sandwich… yummy! They got Cilantro Mayo, Spicy Chinwag Mustard, Roasted Pepper Pesto, House Vinaigrette and Thai Peanut. I’d say for $ 5.50 my sandwich was pretty much a bargain. Yeah, coulda had another tomato, coulda sliced the onions with a little more love, coulda used a few more pepperocinis… ehhh…whatever…all fresh good ingredients though. Check out this order sheet, they some interesting choices… Cajun Tuna, Chicken Salad w/apples, Sausalito Turkey. Anyway, check it out if you need it ALL and only got 15 minutes to make it happen.
