Brunch at Candela’s, service was spectacular and the quality of food was amazing. Highly recommend it!

Couldn’t find a better spot to have breakfast at ! great food ! And great margaritas… Pancakes and the crepes are to die for ! The staff is great ask for GAby or Brandy ! Both of the managers where really pleasant and made you feel like home… I will definitely be back!

Fantastic speciality Margaritas, we had the jalapeño pineapple and a cucumber, wonderful mix of flavor. We ordered the guacamole for an appetizer and added their habanero salsa to spice it up more. We love spicy food and thought the habanero salsa was one of the best we’ve ever had. Our main course was the Carne Asda, which was prepared exactly the way we like it, a thin, richly flavored cut with black beans and rice. We added our guacamole to it, which perfectly completed the flavor. Would highly advise a side order to complete this dish. It also came with a chicken enchilada, which would have been better as cheese. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The bartender Jose was a real standout in quality service. We’ll be back!

This is the best place I have been to in San Diego and has amazing happy hour drinks. Try this place if your close and it’s right on the water!!! :)

This is my third time coming to this place and each time experience has been amazing. The service is really good and people are so friendly they make you feel like home. Breakfast menu it’s delicious. First two times I stopped by was for lunch and dinner and it was delicious but breakfast it’s exquisite with all this extensive menu and amazing service. I will recommend everyone to give a try to any breakfast dish and you will be amazed about the flavor and not to mention the amazing view while eating.

Great service, we tried the molcajete with shrimp, steak and chicken which was okay. The chicken mole was very good and the tacos al pastor were yummy but best of all… the San Diego city view you can enjoy day or night from the Coronado side.

Great service, food, and view! We had the crêpe’s and the a egg dish. Both were stellar. Service was good as well. Very attentive and polite.

On the food tour we had a carnitas taco and 4 cheese soup. The soup was delicious. Best ever.

I have been here two day in a row! Everything is so fresh lunch I had the shrimp limon yum and now for breakfast I had the huevos rancheros red sauce was perfect not too hot. Will be returning every time I visit Coronado! Staff is very friendly and welcoming thank you :-)

Great service and super creative menu. We’ve enjoyed dinner on many occasions and never been disappointed. Today we did breakfast. Phenomenal! The breakfast is extremely varied with traditional American, traditional Mexican dishes, and a creative array of baked pancakes, French toasts, and crepes.
Everybody will find something they love. The coffee is a nice Costa Rican blend. But, you have got to try the bacon. A wonderful Apple Smoked thick cut cooked just perfect. The flavor is superb.
The view is probably one of the best if the San Diego skyline. Perfect for sunrise or sunset.
The service is absolutely fantastic.

Great view but the service and general cleanliness left much to be desired. Only had one set of utensils, burned out candle on the table and was given 2 glasses of water one of which was less than half full. Got my own utensils, swapped candles from the table behind us, never got mor water. Restrooms were abysmal. Where are the managers?
The food was hit and miss. Had mixed ceviche and the seafood was scarce. Not a fan. The side chips were heavy and really broken up. The carnitas nachos was very good and the margaritas were okay. Overall, nothing special. Better food elsewhere, better service and cleanliness in most places. Enjoy the view from the boardwalk and eat somewhere else.

Best Mexican corn on the cob ever! I have had it other places but this one was just amazing. The corn was sweeter and it was made it Tajin which I haven’t had on it before. If you don’t know what to get definitely this is a must try!
They also have an all day happy hour which is awesome and the prices are cheap.
It is also located right on the water so it has a great view of the water and city of San Diego.

We went in for brunch on a Sunday morning and were quickly seated, upon ordering, our food came within minutes. The service was very attentive and the food hit the spot.
Definitely recommend!

Since I was on vacation to visit friends and family near the San Diego area, I made arrangements to look up my old high school boyfriend who was also living in the area as well. We all ended up meeting at this restaurant that turned out to be a great choice. It had a nice view of the water and the San Diego city scape in the back ground. Since we also had my nephew’s dog with us, we were able to sit out in the patio area where dogs are allowed.
We all enjoy Mexican food, and this restaurant had a nice selection of both traditional and modern fusion cuisine. We all ordered a variety of dishes and drinks. I had my usual favorite of fish tacos and really enjoyed the combination of flavors cooked as a tempura style fish with homemade salsa, mayonnaise and cabbage. Everyone in our party loved their meals including the dog who got a few morsels himself!
The wait staff was very friendly and on the ball. Our waitress was even kind enough to take a few group pictures of us so I could cherish these memories further. It was a just a wonderful day all around to share a meal with loved ones and reminisce about old high school days, since four of us attended the same school in Sacramento! We left with smiles on our faces…

Si vous n’avez pas le choix l’adresse n’est pas mauvaise en terme de qualité de nourritures mexicaine mais les quantités né sont pas terribles
L’ambiance est bonne mais assez soûlante
Le service est correct
Attention les bouteilles d’eau sont super jolies mais le prix est dissuasif
Enfin vous êtes en Californie à San Diego et au débarquadaire de Coronado
It’s most expensive

I came here a couple times already, once with some friends and the second time with my husband.
Both times, we were seated immediately. I highly recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy the fantastic view of San Diego. This is one of the major pros of this restaurant — their view. First time, I ordered carinitas tacos which were 3 itty bitty tacos but they still filled me up. Second time, I ordered these meaty nachos (I forgot what kind of meat) which was delicious. Their margarita was yummy too. My husband ordered their burrito which… was about average.
Overall, this place is kinda pricey and their menu doesn’t have that much choices. However, If you’re new to the area with extra $$$ to blow, check this place out if you’re nearby just so you can eat with a damn good view.

Stumbled upon this place as we were biking around Coronado. We paid a stop at the bar and beers were only $ 5 and drinks were $ 10. We sat at the bar and the bartender also asked if we wanted chips & salsa. Good service. You can see the view of Coronado through the glass walls.
Will definitely come back next time I’m in Coronado.

1– View: ¹⁰⁄₅! It has such an amazing view on the beautiful downtown of San Diego by the Convention Center ferry station!
2– Food: ⁴⁄₅ my friend ordered brunch buffet, I ordered fresh catch ceviche and tacos. The ceviche was excellent. Tacos were fine.
3– Service: very weird. Probably they have one of the weirdest and most bipolar services. At first, They didn’t allow us to sit in the patio with the view on the downtown! There were plenty of empty tables by that area. After a long negotiation, the finally allowed us to do so. Of course that ruined our trust with this place.

Super rico, nos atendieron super bien en domingo cuando pense que seria una locura por estar ubicados en tan hermoso lugar.
Tambien estaba una sra. Susan que ve la enegia y nos hizo pasar un rato agradable a la familia.
Recomendado!

Estuve de paseo por Coronado y aproveche para visitarlos, quiero recomendar los CHILES EN NOGADA que están deliciosos y súper bien servidos!!! Felicidades!!!
