One of the coolest shops on Coronado. A nice departure from the touristy surf shops or the stores catering more to the 40+ set. This spot has jewelry, hats, home décor, as bags. All quirky and fun, and most reasonably priced.

This is such a lovely store… but the customer service here makes me feel like I’m back in the 1950’s. This is the second store I visited to do some shopping on orange and the second to not get greeted or offered any help. All the other patrons were greeted. I even tried making eye contact with the lady behind the counter. Wow! I will never come back to Coronado again. I feel so disappointed by how I was treated at this store and at seaside papery right down the street.

This charming little shop caught my attention while in search of a place to ease my hunger pangs. Its lovely items took my mind off of lunch and focused my attention instead on how much more I could charge on my credit card. The Attic sells birthday cards with cute and clever sayings, leather goods, delicate jewelry, clothing, trinkets, beard oil and other miscellaneous hipster paraphernalia. However, this isn’t a pretentious hipster store, it’s just trendy. In some ways, The Attic is like a physical Etsy shop. Next time when I’m in Coronado, I’ll have to return to explore this store further.

This is not only a lovely shop, but it also delivered an amazing customer experience! I love buying earrings on my travels, and The Attic was where I got a unique pair of golden earrings on my last day in the San Diego area about two years ago. I wore them a ton since, so I was pretty dismayed when I recently lost one. I tracked down The Attic and emailed Nancy to ask if she still sold the same earrings. She said she didn’t, but went above and beyond ordering me a similar pair and shipping them to me across the country. I love them and am so grateful!

Loved the jewelry and thought the prices were very reasonable. However, the owner was rude. I won’t go back.

went for a visit over memorial day weekend and have never experienced such rude women as the two working there. no greeting when I walked into the shop then they continued to watch me as I looked at the perfume, I tried on two different scents and finally felt like I needed to explain to them the reason I was not purchasing that exact minute was that I wanted to walk around with them on. They had their heads together whispering and looking at the people in the shop! Needless to say I left and will never go back. They are not a true depiction of the hospitality of shop owners on that island!

Quaint little shop full of treasures. They have jewelry and fashion accessories that are not what you would find in a chain store. They have two locations with in a block of each other. Both have similar treasures. I ended up buying a few baubles to wear. And the pricing was pretty good. They had hats, purses, jewelry and some knick knacks. The stores are small and unique. Friendly service in both stores. When I go back to Coronado, I am sure to stop in again.

I visit Coronado every summer and have for several years. The Attic is always on my list of places I have to go while visiting. I love the vintage unique items they sell. I never walk out disappointed or empty handed. The location on Orange Ave is my favorite, because it is a little bigger and has more jewelry. I visited both locations today am as always found something I couldn’t live without. I found a simple and cute silver necklace with matching earrings that I am quite excited about. I look forward to my future findings in the years to come.

Went to watch a movie at the Village Theater in Coronado and could not resist to check out the vitrines of The Attic, just across the street. This is a pretty gift store/old and new and old in between. Plenty of fedoras and foulards, all in muted colors, everything very elegantly put. And, of course, those inspirational messages, framed an all. Very pretty scene for my eyes post-movie night. I went again another day(day time) and was very impressed by the vintage finding there. Such a small space filled with girls’ dreams! It is very recommendable for getting that unique gift for some special person in your life or for yourself.

I decorate in Shabby chic. I went in last week and bought two items. I could not have had a better experience. I want everything in that place. I will be going back very soon. Judy

LOVETHISPLACE! omg if you love vintage-like gifts this is the place to go. Not everything is vintage but it has the feel and look, most stuff is new. Got the most adorable earrings there, very«anthropologie». The buyer does a great job, it’s very well thought out and I would go there every week if it was closer to where I lived. The sales person was also very friendly.

I was lured in by a beautiful rhinestone necklace sitting ever so forlornly in the store window. So I did what I had to do – found it a nice little home :-) The Attic is great for finding rare gifts/items that exude class, style and those timeless little treasures. Your special recepient will be most impressed without gouging your wallet. The seemless blend of vintage and modern fuses together to create one stunning modern vintage collection. They have everyday jewelry, costume jewelry, home assessories, vintage clothing and many other cool finds. Handmade scarves, lotions, candles, blankets, pillows, lamps, frames, ornaments, hats, purses and so much more. I found a couple pairs of rhinestone earrings for only $ 22 each and a few matching rhinestone bracelets. They have a most impressive beautiful collections of scarves that you must check out. Gorgeous! The store owner is constantly refreshing and adding new shipments weekly so be sure to pop in regularly to claim your unique piece(s). There are two locations on Coronado Island to double your shopping pleasure(I know, sounds like a Doublemint jingle).

The Attic is a wonderful little antique shop! Their selection of items is great, especially the jewelry. I’ve bought my fair share of jewelry and decorations for the home from them. We’re getting ready to leave next week to move back to Virginia and I plan on going in and getting a couple of their«Coronado» pillows before we head out. I highly recommend going here for unique gifts, decorating ideas, jewelry, and more. Their prices are also very resonable considering being located on Coronado. I’ve been spoiled only living a few blocks away from this place for a couple of years. I’m certainly going to miss it when we move. Swing by there sometime, trust me you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve decided that anytime I need unique costume jewelry, I will come here first… the prices are amazing. They are doing a really great job finding unique trinkets, many made by local artisans, that make it look like you spent far more than you really did. Plus, purses, scarves, and tons of household décor and gift items. Love this place!

Very cute little shop with interesting knick knacks and jewelry. I especially like the large flower hairbands and clips at great prices. While the furniture pieces I saw didn’t match anything I have at my house, it made me wish I had a cute little beach cottage to put some of the whitewashed dressers and accessories in. Bottom line, cute small shop worth a stop if you’re in the area. You never know what you might find!

This shabby-chic style antique boutique was not exactly what I was hoping for(I’m much more of a dig-in-these-old-pieces-of-crap-hoping-for-gold-and-a-bargin kind of girl). It’s a cute little store(visible from the main road because of its white and teal striped awning) with a lot of shabby-chic styled antiques and new antique-styled accessories. I bought 3 pairs of the antique-styled earrings at a cost of $ 14/each. They also had some unique accessories made from chandeliers and type writer buttons that were very cool. As far as antiques, there were some pillows(with a price tag of more than $ 50). The real gem was the limited selection of furniture they had available. This is a great place to find a small gift for someone with an antique flair who is of the younger generation. Street parking takes quarters only(as in most of Coronado); they do not take AmEx.
