Try the hangar steak you won’t be disappointed. Fantastic wine list. Perfect farm to table eatery for a weekend at the beach!

We had a nice dinner, a little pricy but worth the money. We took several items from the«Bites» list to share, and they were all delicious, prepared and presented with attention. One of us took an item from the Entrees which was just as delicious. Our server was very kind and quite helpful(also quite knowledgeable on the wine list).

Stopped in for a quick snack during«social hour» Prices were little high for sides/tapas but definitely tasty. Got the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. Couldn’t get any wine since I’m preggos but they had $ 2 off deals on them. Service was attentive and quick. Would return!

We had a large group for lunch today. This place was amazing. Awesome food and awesome staff. Staff was so friendly and great. The food was seriously good. Every person(14) at our table LOVED what they got. I had the Leroy Burger. The bacon jam sold me on ordering it. It did not disappoint. My husband got the jidori chicken kale salad. Delish. It would be difficult to not get those two items the next time we go. Tip(which we didn’t know). you can get a half order of the huge salad!

We stopped by this place for a nice Sunday brunch. It had a very hipster-like atmosphere to it and was very clean and well-decorated. I definitely recommend getting a reservation; we probably would have had to wait at least an hour had we not gotten one. I ordered the brioche French toast which was absolutely phenomenal. It had a perfect, soft texture and the strawberry mascarpone spread totally tied the whole thing together for me. It was a very large dish and so it lends very well to sharing. In fact, all the dishes were very large. My mother also ordered the burger – apparently they had recently been named the best burger in San Diego – and she really enjoyed it. Although our waiter highly recommended the beef hash, our entire table agreed that it lacked some flavor. They had some gluten-free options as well which is always nice. Overall a pretty good place for brunch!

I was in Coronado with my uncle on our way sailing and needed a bite to eat so I chose my favorite place. First time I have been back here in a while, and I have to say the experience was not what I remembered. The staff was great as usual, but the food has become lack luster. The menu is much shorter than it used to be, and when that happens you tend to expect that the fewer options would be perfect. I went with the Ahi Poke Tacos. The plating was amazing, just made your mouth water. However you take one bite and the thing falls apart. The Ahi & Slaw where both fresh and great but the sauce and side salad just came off as weak. Plus side my uncles steak was good, and again plating superb. Craft Beer selecting was good. Cocktails were okay as well. Just feel like there is something missing from the last time I was here.

My new favorite spot! Every time I visit Cali I now make a point to stop by. GREAT food, not too heavy like most American style restaurants(that tend to be heavy on grease and oil). The atmosphere is absolutely delightful and the service is spectacular! My table ordered the sprouts, wings, yellowtail, fried chicken special, the hamburger, mac and cheese, the lamb meatballs and for desert the banana bread pudding and ice cream — ALL delicious! I’m a New Yorker, so I am very selective about what is «good» and what is «bad» food. I give this place two thumbs up and a happy face! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy!

I am updating my review for this place because I returned here today for a Mother’s Day dinner with my parent’s-in-law and my husband; I also appreciated that Chef Ronnie responded to my past review. This time I ordered the following: 1. Appetizer: deviled eggs — A balanced flavor of sweet and salty along with bitter from the arugula and radicchio. Just really delicious and perfect. 2. Entrée: pork chop — An amazing dish. Beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The dish was even more completed and perfected by the accompanying sides of baby potatoes, onions, and squash(sovereign, perhaps). The best part? The little charred parts of the pork!!! Yuuuuuummmm! There was not a single thing I did not like about this dish. 3. Dessert: peanut butter banana bread pudding — was pretty much a slice of heaven. It was served with vanilla ice cream. I thought the entire dessert was going to be really rich and overly sweet, but I was pleasantly mistaken. Again, balanced flavor was the key. Sweet, salty, creamy. The only thing that I thought was wrong was that they should have added an extra scoop of ice cream since the dessert was a huge chunk of bread pudding(I mean, it was massive!!!). This was a successful dinner. I had a couple of glasses of sauv blanc and roussanne for drinks which were great pairings for this dish I believe. So based on this visit, I would definitely return again. My faith has been restored.

Great place to come for brunch! We brought our 2 dogs and sat out on the patio. My husband ordered the burger, which was good, and I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque, which was so tasty! Sangria is great as is coffee with banana bread, peanut butter dessert. Our server was friendly and helpful, too. I recommend eating here, especially if you’d like to bring along your furry friend!

My brother and I ordered the same thing and we both agreed that this was a very good burger. I believe it was about $ 17 but it was worth the price. It came with Parmesan truffle fries and some pickles. The only thing that was a downside was their homemade ketchup, it tasted like chewing tobacco… It was the weirdest thing… I thought that maybe the first order of ketchup we got was out of whack so we ordered another one… Same thing, tasted like dip lol, and I know it wasn’t just me because my brother said the same exact thing. Another down side was that the service was SUPERSLOW. We came on a Sunday around 1pm and the place was dead and the service was still super slow

Been here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The first time I went was for dinner with a group of friends. They sat us outside due to the fact that there wasn’t any tables left inside. I got the harvest chicken salad and my roommate got the mac and cheese. We got the brussels sprouts as an appetizer. The best part of the meal was definitely the brussels but neither of the entrees were extremely memorable. I’ve also been for brunch which was a better experience. My boyfriend got the chilaquiles which were excellent and I got the grain/veggie harvest plate. My breakfast was good for those that are craving a clean, healthy dish but I think next time I will choose something else on the menu. Overall, the service has been excellent both times I’ve been here and the ambiance is really nice. I definitely see myself coming back to try more of their dishes.

Came here during restaurant week. Love the location and the seat setting in this small but full-service place. They offer tvs on the walls for football fans, and the service they offered was fantastic. One dish that I would highly recommend is the mussels-very well-done with great taste. It’s for sure the highlight of the night!

Like it. Good food and drink. Have sat at bar and eaten and also in dining room. Bartenders make nice drinks, not craft quality, but very well thought out and constructed. Great selection of beers on tap, worth a trip to sample. The food is good, particularly liked the duck chilaquiles! Truffle fries and the burger are pretty solid as well. Worth a stop in Coronado, will enjoy.

Awesome place for lunch. The art work is amazing, we really almost wanted to buy one! My wife and I ordered the truffle fries and tuna tacos, both were very delicious. The dipping sauce for the fries were a great pairing and the tacos were interesting, different, and very tasty. We will make sure to come back next time we visit Coronado.

Fun place for lunch on Coranado Island. Picked up a couple of workmates at the airport and took a ride over the Coranado bridge. A beautiful drive showcasing the San Diego harbor bustling with boats of all types. Brought up the Unilocal app and picked Leroy’s for lunch. Small menu full of big flavors. Ordered a number of appetizers, the Tempured Shrimp special was awesome. Deviled eggs were a bit sweet for my palate but everyone else liked them. The freshly baked pretzel was wonderful and served with a beer cheese sauce that made me want to lick the small bowl it came in. Five ordered entries consisted of two well done burger, two orders of Mussels in Thai sauce and a trio of Street Tacos. The two burgers, while artfully presented, were medium rare and promptly returned. Too bad as I was drooling and wishing I had ordered one. Once cooked to Over Done, IMHO, they were deemed excellent. Street Tacos, Carnitas, three to an order were freshly put together including the salsa. Small enough to consume all three but enough to fill up the lucky person who ordered them. Finally two large bowls hit the table, yeah one was for me, over flowing with mussels begging me to eat them. They were languishing in a brothy sauce full of Thai flavors, sautéed onions and other appropriate veggies. My oh my I want that recipe! We ate every mussel and all slurped up all the broth. If I have a chance to get back, this will definitely be what I order again.

Wandered here on a lazy Sunday morning to find some good brunch in the Coronado neighborhood. Got here around 10:45am and was seated immediately. What we ordered: –pitcher of sangria(two of us) –truffle fries –truffled grilled cheese with squash soup –duck chilaquiles without the duck for my vegetarian boyfriend SANGRIA OK, the waitress told us it was strong, but you really can’t taste the strength and it creeps up on you like no other. Lots of sangria only has wine and fruit, but theirs has more alcohol than just wine, and that’s where they get you. It was $ 25 for the pitcher and was easily four full glasses overall. The sangria was delicious and before I knew it, it was creeping up on me. My boyfriend said, «this IS strong» after awhile of sitting and drinking. You know when you’re starting to buzz and you look around and it feels like your vision/eyes take awhile to catch up with where you head is going? No? Just me? OK, well that’s what it felt like before I realized how fast it was creeping up. Delicious and I would definitely get again upon return! TRUFFLEFRIES Truffle fries were amazing! I love anything truffle. So much so, my name should be Jordan«Truffle» M. The fries were perfectly cooked and every bite had a wonderful taste of truffle — nothing overpowering. Fries came with two dipping sauces, pomegranate ketchup and garlic aioli, both were amazing! TRUFFLEDGRILLEDCHEESEWITHSQUASHSOUP So, the truffled grilled cheese wasn’t as impressive to me as everyone at the restaurant made it out to be. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, but it wasn’t amazing and it definitely didn’t hit the 4-stars I’m giving this place. The truffle fries had much more truffle flavor than my grilled cheese did, but it was still good, nonetheless. I did love that the bread was perfectly crispy and buttery. The squash soup was very yummy and complemented the sandwich well. DUCKCHILAQUILES Boyfriend wanted to try the chilaquiles, but doesn’t eat meat. Chef was kind enough to throw in tons of veggies and extra avocado for him. The taste of the chilaquiles was delicious. A lot of reviews we read about the chilaquiles were praising the duck and we were worried without the duck it would take away from the dish, but it definitely didn’t. The chef did a wonderful job cooking the vegetables to perfection, which was a nice surprise because it’s easy to find good vegetables at a restaurant, but you don’t always find amazingly cooked vegetables. Despite other reviews, we had an amazing server. I can’t remember her name, maybe Gwen? Some drunk guys she was previously serving yelled at her while they were driving away, haha, and that’s the name they used. If the boss is reading this, she was a tall, blonde girl working the morning shift today(7⁄12) and taking care of the front patio. She was amazing and deserves recognition. Definitely try the sangria!

After grabbing my stuff for the beach. My fiancée’ noticed that the line here also had died down and had to get decided to grab one more drink before heading onto the beach. Also had notcied that they had BYOBM(build your own bloody mary) and comes in red or green. Never had a green bloody mary and I’m a big fan of them so we were sold and had to come in and try. Atmosphere: Trendy like kitchen. a nice full bar. with tv’s. the patio outside seemed a little cramped outside. Comfy lounge feel. Service: we had mentioned to the hostess that we were interested in the bar just to get a drink. she had mentioned that she’ll seat us since the bar was packed and most tables were already reserved but luckily there was one table left open. Arriving at our table one of the hostess said there was a missing chair and said will be back with one. I stood there for a a minute or so and one of the supervisors had asked if i needed help but i said that the hostess was already looking for the missing chair. however, the supervisor had beat her to the punch and came back and apologized about not having a chair there. Our waiter was very informed and knowledgable about the menu. We had eaten prior and too full to try anything but drinks. Drinks: Moscow Mule: regular. nothing special. Green Bloody Mary: picked olives, pickled green bean. in a green tomateo mix. hearty refreshing. strong taste. very different from your regular red. Overall: Thus far good drinks. excellent service. can’t wait to come back on an empty stomach to try farm fresh cooking.
