Average food with poor service. Can’t even get a drink refill without waiting at the counter forever. First time… Last time

The chicken was okay. Juicy while hot but dried out as the chicken cooled. The rolls could have used more butter and the fries more salt. Arrived around 5:30pm and the kitchen was having a difficult time keeping up with the orders(they also have a drive through window), so they were out of chicken strips. The fountain machine was out of all drinks except for diet. The staff didn’t seem overly concerned with helping customers, or were just overwhelmed. If I’m craving chicken, I might stop by but would have been perfectly happy if I’d found a Church’s Fried Chicken instead.

I’m a truck driver. I have eaten in a lot of places. The best fried chicken by far in all the 200 miles area. Cat fish was ok but nothing to brag about. Very nice people and it is decorated old fashion. Thanks for the best chicken!!!

You want chicken? BBQ? Hole in the wall? This is it. It’ll fill that hole and the bbq brisket isn’t bad.

Never made it to the food. Restrooms had not been cleaned in what appears to be weeks. There was pipe from the ceiling dripping into the sink. Floors throughout were filthy.

Zero stars!!! Worst food ever. Cold. Tiny piece of chicken, dried up. Hard cornbread. This was the cafeteria line at noon. For three people it was $ 40. Total waste of time. Left most of it, and chalked it up to a learning experience.

I grew up eating Bills fried chicken, but here recently I have been avoiding them because of bush’s chicken opening. Now I remember why, I called in my order and the woman(I would call her a lady but her attitude towards my call in order was very unsettling, she was rude and pushy) she didn’t even say hello or «Bills fried Chicken how may I help you?» Since my husband was on his way home from work he said he would pick it up(she didn’t give me a total) and he got there at 7:15 they had already locked the front door! Seriously yall use to close at 8! I will not be giving my business nor money to them ever again. Alot of the workers there(the last time I actually went in) had pants sagging down past their butts with boxers exposed and looked unsanitary.* edit* it’s now 7:59 pm and my husband just got home all food is cold and my livers weren’t here. All she had to say was«oh well I didn’t hand it out the window and we’re closed now but you can come get them».

The place mostly has cold reheated food, but they make the fish fresh so I’d go with that. It will fill you up but $ 8 to eat is too expensive for the quality of the food.

Great fried chicken, fresh sides like coleslaw, potato salad and corn. The rolls bread are very good, all is homemade style!! yum! Kind staff and fast service.

All you can eat fish on wednesdays, $ 9.99. I got fries and greens with my fish and hushpuppies. Was good and will be back but they over cooked some of the pcs or they are just too thin on some but the rest are good.

Checked Unilocal for a place to eat in Corsicana on our way back from Tulsa to Houston The reviews are ok but the restaurant leaves a great deal to be desired. Bathrooms filthy, both men and women’s Restaurant looks very tired and worn Staff friendly and helpful and prompt. Food. Chicken good and hot, fried fish also, cornbread inedible, okra and tomatoes were cold and the potato salad was like mashed potatoes with pickle juice added, cole slaw just ok All in all a very disappointing experience, will never go back! I would not give it even one star but cannot post, if at least one star is not given! Fred P

Man I love this place! The chicken was hot and crispy and the fried fish was just as tasty. The baked beans were notable as well. I will return on my next trip to Dallas.

I have been travelling through Corsicana on my way home throughout the years — from Austin, to Longview. It is exactly half way and I have often times shot through Dallas just because I could not find a decent eatery in Corsicana. Now, I have a go-to for these trips home, a restaurant I will actually look forward to. First, let me say that I am a chicken guru. I love fried chicken and I get grumpy when served mediocre fried chicken, or fried chicken that is overcooked, flavorless, stale, not crunchy, etc Bill’s chicken is EXCELLENT! Me and my family of four chose to share a box of 10 thighs for 8.99. That is a great deal by the way! Then we each went ala carte and ordered whatever side(s) we thought looked good. I got their green beans — but these werent just any green beans, oh no! These were made the right way, with bacon, onion and potatoes added. Delicious! The corn bread is something I will pass on next time. I wish their dinner rolls or yeast rolls were better quality but everthing else was fantastic — including the service. All the employees I saw were young men and women, all eager to serve and very courteous. The restaurant was clean and parking was easy. I will be back and I cannot wait! P. S. This is NOT a buffet, it is a true cafeteria, you take a tray, tell the servers what you want on your plate and then seat yourself. Some reviews of this restaurant mistakenly identify it as a buffet.

Had lunch there while driving from Houston to Dallas. Parking lot was full which was a good sign. They had a cafeteria style service for their home cooked type meals. Then another part of the restaurant is where you order your fish if that is what you want. I went through the cafeteria line and orderd the stewed chicken with 3 veggies and a drink. The food was good. I would definately eat here again. This is a casual restaurant that serves good food at reasonable prices. I am giving it a 3 but this could quite easily be a 4. I hope to eat here again and if I do will be open to re-scoring.

We stopped here accidentally while searching for somewhere to eat dinner in Corsicana. After seeing plenty of fast food chains, we were about to give up when hubs spotted Bill’s Fried Chicken. It looked nice enough on the exterior and there were several cars in the lot, so we decided to give it a try. Good decision! There is a buffet line when you first walk in, with barbecue, chili, a huge variety of vegetables, several homemade desserts, and slaw, potato salad, pickles, etc. to accompany the barbecue. Around the corner from the buffet is the fried chicken and fish counter, where they prepare your food when ordered. We decided on barbecue(him) with fresh butter beans and yellow squash, along with a small side of homemade chili. I had the 2-piece catfish dinner with butter beans and broccoli. Not only was the catfish perfectly cooked, but the homecooked vegetables were absolutely delicious. The butterbeans were my fav: loaded with ham, onions and well-seasoned. The chili was fantastic, not the usual chili powder/cumin/beans variety. Hubs said the barbecue was tender and delicious, as was his squash. We had planned on dessert — the homemade cobbler, bread pudding, and banana pudding were tempting — but couldn’t eat another bite after the huge dinner servings. This is definitely an A+ experience if you like fresh, home cooked food.

This is a buffet counter kind of place where you take a tray and slide down a serving line and tell them what you want. The offerings were pretty darn good, Fried Chicken, Catfish, Salsbury Steak, Ribs, Greens and much more. Food was good prices were great. This was just simple good food!
