Beware! I was a new client and got the worst haircut of my life, and I’ve been getting my hair cut for over 40 years. Kim gave me an incredibly uneven cut – she was cutting quickly and randomly on one side of my head and trimmed very little on the other side. The result was atrocious, and for this I was charged $ 40. Strange way to impress new clients. I would have been better off going to SuperCuts.

Kim is great, I went in to get a trim and she knew to cut my curly hair dry, did exactly what I asked with some modifications based on her professional knowledge, and made useful suggestions about caring for my hair that didn’t involve buying expensive product. I’ll definitely be going back.

After calling 3 other salons that were completely booked, I called Kim P for a haircut and she was able to work me in on the same day. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She gave me a wonderful haircut and blow dry! I will definitely be back!

My daughter’s hair was butchered by a stylist at one of those mall hair-​styling chains (not to mention names…). Reading all the positive reviews of Kim, we decided to give her a try. She is a miracle worker. She was able to rescue this poorly executed cut and completely transform it into something cute and flattering… and, to be honest, there wasn’t all that much hair to work with! Kim is amazing. She’s got a great eye and knows how to give you a flattering cut. Incredibly reasonable for Marin, as well!

I found Kim when I was randomly looking for a haircut on a Monday. I had been putting it off after my regular stylist moved away. Then the day came when I was sick of my hair (we’ve all experienced this!). I spoke to Kim on the phone and she was extremely accommodating, getting me in that day. My cut turned out GREAT! I have long hair with layers and have always been picky about my cuts (I’ve ended up with layers that look like a shelf and I’ve had other people thin them out so much that they looked stringy). Kim listened, focused and gave me exactly what I asked for! I am so happy with my hair and will absolutely be seeing Kim again. Not only is she talented and nice, she provides quality at an affordable price. 5 stars!

I’m working in NorCal on a temporary job and was wondering what I would do when I needed a haircut. Ok, I’m a bit vain about my hair and am fussy about my cuts. So today was the day. I found Kim on Unilocal and with 9 perfect reviews, I was hoping for the best. I wasn’t disappointed. After just a few sentences, I was confident she knew what I wanted. This is one of the best cuts I’ve ever had! And while the fee is higher than I’m used to, it appears to be modest for this upscale area. Besides, perfection is cheap at any price. I highly recommend this place!

Kim is so wonderful, she greets you nicely and did a great job. I asked for a shampoo right after and that was one of the best shampoo ever. Massage chair, did three level wash and hot towel face. She made sure the cut was nice and did some adjustments right after. Awesome

Short hair, DO care.
Kim P is AMAZING! She gives me the best hair cut every time. Sometimes I know exactly what I want and the end result is exactly that, but mostly I let her be creative. I give her an idea of what I’d like and let her design the rest. Kim takes our two ideas and always comes up with the best style making it work with my hair type. It’s perfect every time!
In the past I’ve had stylists take over an hour with my hair and still not get it right. Kim is fast while at the same time extremely precise. I’ve never got home and seen that dreadful one side looks longer type of cuts.
