I was very excited to have a Starbucks open near my house, but this Starbucks isn’t quite yet functioning efficiently. The drive-thru is convenient, but it can be quite slow. Even ordering a drink from inside takes a bit too long. Maybe things will get faster as time passes, but for now I’m going to stick to other local coffee shops for my cup of joe and occasional pastry.

Being a Starbucks fans and consumers of fresh ground Starbucks each morning, we were anxiously awaiting completion in this new location — miles closer to home. So it is convenient, and it is Starbucks, and it is new. It has all the basics common to most locations — an assortment of food, coffees and a drive-thru. What it lacks is a comfy interior — the décor is modern, stark and seems geared to moving folks in and out. There are no comfy chairs that invite use as the alternate home office or local gathering spot The staff, also new, seems under-trained. Simple tasks like closing a fresh ground bag of coffee appear to be a challenge. Service is slowwwww. Parking can also be a challenge with Smashburger next door. So we are grateful for convenience and hopeful for continuous improvement.

The drive through is extremely slow. I finally get home and have a sip and it is not what I ordered. The sticker is correct but for some reason they wanted to put something else in it.

Slow and can’t make a proper drink to save their life. This chain would be closed in a month if located in NYC. I do not know how you can mess up a regular coffee with skim milk on four different occasions.

I have used the drive thru a few times now. I just waited 20 min for an ice tea! When I got to the window it wasn’t even made yet. I peaked in and saw 3 employees 1 of which was just standing there. If they are backed up with orders maybe prior to ordering they should say so. Seems they make the drinks when you pull up to the window and not prior. After being opened for over a month you think the kinks would be worked out.

As I was driving by I noticed they were finally opened… Chose the drive through bc I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to go inside. Waited a good 5 – 7 minutes in line bc I’m sure they haven’t worked out the drive thru likings yet. I ordered my first pumpkin spiced latte of the season… It was delish, as expected!
