If you’re super hungry and willing to spend $ 10-$ 14 on a meal. This place is the place to go in Corvallis. Even though the food here is not perfect, they have a wide variety of Chinese dishes and sushi and it is makes it so worth the money. I ate so much seafood and sushi that if I went to another restaurant I would have to spend at least $ 30. I think this place is great for groups and the dishes are not that bad. When I came for first time I thought it was going to be so much worse but they surprised me with all their food. Its definitely worth the money if you have a empty stomach!

Had a good experience — they set us up in the back room for 20+ Great food and selection– especially sushi! We are going back

Awful! Don’t waste your money. A huge array of «so-called Chinese food.» Over cooked, tasteless won tons, spring rolls, sushi under heat lamps(!), mushy veggies, scary chicken dishes(undercooked), rubber shrimp, on & on. If all you care about is volume, this is the place for you! Terrible service. Never, never going back! Thought we’d give it a try after many years. Sad experience. So many better Asian food choices in town.

Ate Tuesday afternoon to retry again after Being away two years. Very poor service and food. Hostess could not make eye contact and food was lukewarm. Piles of sushi was off limits because they were waiting for dinner. Price has increased to $ 13. And I do not recommend this place at all.

Disappointed that the birthday meal requires 3 additional meals be purchased. It was suggested that we call our friends to meet this requirement. We left and went to Pastini’s for their free birthday meal and spent a lot less.

China buffets are so much cleaner and calm and they have so many more food options than other buffets. I really liked this place. There was mostly sushi and Chinese foods. It was good. I think if they Thai and Vietnamese foods this place would be Asian food mecca.

The food is mediocre. The people how run the place will treat you poorly if you are a anything other that white or Asian and I should know I was there with my friend and his wife and kids and they sat as at the fatties corner in the restaurant so that no one would see us cause we were Arabian. The servers never even smiled and treated us as if we were a burden. Needless to say my friends and I will never set foot in this dump again not that we’ll be missing much since the food is so damn awful.

Food was alright but my friend has been throwing up all yesterday and today after eating their food. I had the raw fish and other seafood options and I’m fine but he had a bunch of the kung pow chicken and we’re thinking that’s what did it.

The food is okay, but not worth the money. Especially, every time i come by, they always speak chinese to me, i always have to say i am not chinese. They do not even ask for that first. The service is really bad thou.

When we get a craving for ayce we pop in here. The sushi is fresh. Evening buffet yields fresh salmon and tuna nigiri. Lunch buffet did not the one time we popped in. The gyoza is tasty as well most of the time. Over lunch this last time it was soggy though.

It was good at first, but my friends and I got sick of the food after 1 – 2 plates. 14 dollars was not worth it though

Decent food at a decent price. Sunday lunch was $ 14. For Corvallis’ standards, it’s actually pretty good. The restaurant is clean, staff was attentive, and there was a good variety of hot food. In other words, if you have a big appetite and nothing better to do on a Sunday, might as well spend a few hours here.

Only complaint is that the advertised price didn’t match what I was charged. The dinner buffet is now $ 13.99, which gets you a good choice of vegetables and sushi and all the rest of your classic buffet.

Returned here after a year+ absence, found it just as fresh — diverse — good as in June 2012. One of the best Chinese buffets I’ve found in this price range; apparently OSU’s Chinese students agree. One thing I don’t understand — all the whining in some reviews about bad service. Hello, it’s a cheap buffet, not a Michelin 4 star restaurant with tuxedoed waiters! I never had problems with lack of service during my various visits. If you do, and you can’t carry your dirty plate a few feet to drop it off, maybe you should stick to Denny’s…

The food was alright. I liked it because it was clean. Service was not there and only catered to our table once during the hour my family was dining.

Meh. This place was pretty below average in just about every way, but mainly the food. Not so much bad as just not good. The kids liked it, but I hated myself at the end of the meal.

The food is pretty good here. It’s expensive if you buy drinks though. So order water. I had some favorites that were on the menu a long time and then suddenly they weren’t there anymore. So they are a little inconsistent. The staff isn’t the friendliest. The counter woman often barks orders around and never smiles. The peanut butter chicken is tasty. I like all the veggies and fruit they offer. It’s fun when they serve crab – although they are hardly ever the claws. It’s decent for a buffet. But only sometimes.

Not the best buffet ever, but not the worst either. Go there when it’s really busy or you’ll find yourself eating lukewarm food that has clearly been sitting out for hours. Service is exactly what I would expect from a buffet. No more than two words and a price are spoken during the entire experience. Plates are usually taken away pretty quickly, although occasionally they do sit around for a little while.

I would have never come here on my own accord. My parents were helping me move and we were staying at the Best Western. New China Buffet happened to be right next to it and my parents literally freaked out when they saw it(much like they did when they saw Young’s Kitchen). We went in and asked to look at their spread before committing to it. They had a pretty decent variety so we decided to go for it. I forgot how much it was. I think $ 30 for all three of us. Service was absolutely horrible. They never cleared our plates or anything. The food was decent cheap Chinese buffet food. They refilled it often but the sushi looked really unappetizing. They also had this«pizza» thing but it was literally a pan of oil and cheese. I get the feeling they have no idea what pizza is or they mislabeled it. The fried shrimp and egg flower soup were the best. They also have individually packaged ice cream hidden in the freezer by the desserts. I had no idea it was there until my mother saw someone open it! I hate that its packaged in Styrofoam though. The place was pretty packed and my parents said they would eat here if they ever came to visit me again. Haha. They’re so silly. I think there is a discount if you have your OSU id card. I didn’t have mine at the time so I have no idea. They also have random discounts throughout the week.

Great food and large selection of Chinese food. Plate after plate after plate with lots of seafood and Chinese food. That day the Hot Sour soup had not much taste like other.
