Applecare had me deliver my laptop to the Mac store in order for it to be shipped in for hardware repair. I called ahead, and the Mac Store said I could bring it in and anytime that afternoon would be good. The young guy at the main counter was very polite and helpful, but couldn’t sign in my laptop, since only the official technician could do that. After 30 minutes of waiting the tech having not even looked up to say anything like«Sorry, I’ll be with you in a few minutes», while working on some much longer fix for someone else(keep in mind, I was there to drop the computer off, not get it fixed). Finally, the young man, surely feeling bad for me, asked if I’d like to make an appointment to come back so I didn’t have to wait. I asked if he had any estimate on how long of a wait, as I wouldn’t mind a few more minutes to avoid another trip. He asked the tech, receiving a rude reply«I don’t know!!!». The tech still never even looked up or acknowledged that I was there. I thanked the front desk employee, and left, and will never be back. I’ll ship the computer for free thanks to Applecare. I don’t care how bad of day you’re having, thats pitiful customer service. 5 stars for the front desk, 0 for the computer tech.

This is NOTANAUTHORIZEDAPPLESTORE… so my fairly new 180.00 nano just stopped working and if I had purchased from APPLEDIRECTLY I’d have a new one in hand. THIS Store could NOT replace for factory defect. This store is happy to repair for profit to themselves as a business and charging full price for repairs. Or this store will happily sell you a new one AGAIN if any of their products die without reason or cause. In fact, the staff ran me around for a full month about my warranty before determining they cannot help me, and cited the damage as «water» — NOT the case at all, not even moisture hits this thing. Take a trip to an AUTHORIZED store with TRAINED staff!!! I really don’t like to rank on a local business, I’ve lived here a long time and have purchased 99% of ever piece of furniture, services, contractors, landscaping, cars, nearly everything I’ve ever bought, even clothes(especially thanks to Ruby at Golden Crane), locally. This store is the exception to my value system.

These guys sure know a lot about macs and how to make them stay alive forever! I have had my Mac since 2008 and rather than buy a PC due to lack of funding, they completely redid the insides of my computer and updated it so it was basically like getting a new Mac for $ 300. It took them a very long time to get this done but way worth the wait. Thanks

Great friendly service! As soon as I walked into the store, I was assisted immediately. I was having computer issues, and an employee named Marco(I think) went above and beyond to quickly solve my issue!

These people are friendly, helpful and honorable. I’d not have serviced or buy new anywhere else. I bought an Air and returned within 24 hours and was able to get a full refund, no questions asked. Can’t say enough good about the people at this place.

Great Customer Service This place has always been super helpful with my computer problems and purchases. They have saved me lots of money by telling me honestly when I don’t need a fancy computer program and when I can get a package deal. I even got their opinion on a large video-editing computer purchase and then bought it online as they had interest-free financing. They weren’t bothered at all that I bought the computer online instead of through them and were just happy to help me find accessories that I needed. The manager, Jeff, is super super knowledgeable. The other staff are hit or miss(although have always been friendly), but Jeff knows all of his product crazy well. Would recommend this place to anyone, just try to talk with the manager, even if you hafta wait as he’s often quite busy.

I was wandering around town aimlessly on a sunny day recently. As I walked by this store, I remembered that I broke the charging dock to my ipod shuffle, which I prefer over my full ipod for running. I walked right to the ipod accessories and grabbed what I thought was the new charger. While at the cash register, the employee asked me a series of questions about the product. I’m impatient, and kind of just wanted him to hurry up. I’m glad that he asked what my shuffle looked like, because I had the wrong charger. He then offered to charge me the amount of the first charger($ 10 less). Excellent customer service. I will definitely give this place my business the next time that I need an accessory for my macbook or ipod.

I came here earlier this week to figure out what was going on with my iBook since it wasn’t charging right and the help desk lady was quite snooty to me. I told her that the charging light was a different shade of orange than normal and she said rudely«It’s supposed to be that way.» Geez, lady i’m not a dumb college student that doesn’t know shit about Macs thank you. Anyway I told her it was a iBook and showed it to her, the next thing she said was«oh, I thought you were referring to the MacBook» –_-* So they thought that my charger had died and gave me a newer one to purchase which i did. I charged up my laptop once and never charged up again. I was flustered and pissed off not knowing what else to do. So after much discussion with my parents and getting opinions from my sister and Jonathan, I have a new laptop. I returned to the MacStore today to find out what truly was wrong with my iBook. Again the same lady that is the certified Mac technician there had given me some snooty attitude and into much depth she figured out what was going on. UGH! freakin A. Her eye makeup was a little scary I must say so that didn’t make my customer service experience a lot better. The only thing that made me feel better that she took me seriously enough to figure out what was exactly wrong with my laptop. So basically it’s almost dead. And that’s the end of the story. I am happy to say that I have a new laptop thanks to emergency funding and I HAVEINTERNET! hooray comcast and their awesome deal: D Note: the«parking lot» is indented so the store is away from the main sidewalk area and next to Señor Sams. If it’s full there’s always plenty of street parking.
