This place is a slice of Portland in Corvallis, in the best sense of the comparison. Cortados are excellent, they typically have a great selection of baked goods from another local shop, and the baristas have been warm and welcoming every time we’ve been here. They sell their own coffee beans(Bespoken coffee roasters) and Steven Smith teas as well. This is a pretty small shop, so seating is sometimes tight. If that’s the case, just get it to go and enjoy wandering around downtown or along the Willamette.

My favorite coffee shop in Corvallis. It’s small, but the charm is alive here. The coffee is great, and the Art Deco-ish setting makes it an enjoyable place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings. I usually order black coffee, so cannot speak to the anatomy of the drinks here. Yet, my company has always spoken highly of it. They sell delicious donuts too. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I just had one of the best cappuccino’s I’ve ever enjoyed, and I have had quite a few. You can smell, see, and taste the quality! Great job TTC! I’ll be back…

If you are a coffee snob, like me, this is the place to come. The quality is outstanding. Only reason I gave them a 4, instead of a 5, is because they don’t have whip cream. Kind of a bummer but since their coffee is so good, I don’t really miss it. We tried one of the cupcakes today, which I thought to be overpriced, but after tasting it I would have no problem paying that much again. Best cupcake I have ever had!

On vacation in Corvallis and decided to hop in for some hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was tasty and homemade and looked incredible with a cappuccino like milk design. They did not have whipped cream to put on top unfortunately, sure the hot chocolate looked great but to me a hot chocolate is not complete without whipped cream. My friend wanted to get tea but they only had 3 choices for her. The décor was nice and very Portland/Corvallisesque. The baristas were dressed jovially and the atmosphere was nice. Will have to go back to see if the coffee selections are better, would not go back here if I was looking for a non-coffee option.

I’m so thankful this shop opened in the Corvallis community. There’s nothing else like it in the area. I really appreciate the aesthetic and the vibe of the atmosphere. It’s obvious they strive for excellence. The espresso is solid. They have the Fetco dialed in for drip. They always have their bombardier blend available for espresso or drip and they cycle through different single origins on drip and espresso. They do offer Cemex, V60, and Aeropress. But don’t ask for it if it’s busy. Space is limited, so it’s difficult for the baristas to have enough room for slow brew at peak hours. This is my main request – expansion! They roast their own beans under their company Bespoken Coffee Roasters.

New to the area and searching for«THE» coffee place. Upon recommendation from a colleague who LOVES coffee, I decided to give T&T a whirl. The Good 1. Cute shop 2. Great flavor The Meh 1. Staff wasn’t very friendly 2. Coffee was on the lukewarm side.(I would’ve asked for them to heat it up more but it was really crowded and they seemed annoyed already) Every establishment has an off day so I will give them another try since the coffee did have a lovely flavor. I just hope it’s actually hot the next time.

Great coffee and cool atmosphere, Tried & True is a tiny coffee shop that’s a great place to relax and catch up on some reading. I spent many days here and enjoyed the wonderful coffee that they brew. Baristas are very nice and put effort into their work; this is evident from the first sip. Only recommendation I have is that they put an AC or something cuz on some of these hot summer days it gets a little uncomfortable in there.

So glad I stopped here on my way from Portland to Eugene — a great spot to sit down and relax with a coffee and a snack. The cortado I had here was one of the best I’ve had!
