What is up with the stencils? I used to love going to Anastasia’s to get my brows shaped, but ever since they began this crazy program with the stencils and the pencils and the gel and the coloring and the… well, you get my drift. No thanks! I asked once why Anastasia makes brow shaping such a production, and the person told me, «it’s supposed to be like going to get your hair done.» I don’t know what that means, but I just want really well-​shaped brows. With the stencils, you don’t feel like your brows are getting the individual attention they deserve, but rather, are being forced to conform with their stencils. I think I’ll take my business (and my brows) elsewhere.

The Anastasia counter is very easy to miss at the Nordstrom’s at South Coast Plaza.
It’s really more like they have a shelf of merchandise located at the end of the Prescriptives counter.
But not only do they carry Anastasia products, they also do the legendary brow service too, for $ 30.
They have a room in the back where they wax, tweeze, and trim your brows into a very beautiful shape.
This is a must try!
The lady I love only works Sundays and Mondays, but there is someone there everyday.
