Love Bobbi Brown! Great products, and very natural looking! My favorite eyeliner of all time is their black ink colored gel! It stays on all day, but still washes off with just soap! Love!

they are very rude. they do not make you feel welcome at all. IF i buy bobbi brown anymore it will be through the internet but as of right now i am looking for different make up. the various bobbi brown counters i have been to are all the same. no one seems to really care and they just converse with themselves and dont pay much attention to the customers or the customers needs. i had to get an attitude with the women in order to even get a hello. **the only reason i am giving them a star is because it will not let me post without one**

I had my game face on when I marched straight to the counter. I suppose my very determined face alerted one of the workers there. She was somewhat nice and very knowledgeable. She didn’t push any products on me and she answered all my questions. However, she acted impatient with me when another customer wanted to butt in and get her attention. I don’t know why. I ask good questions. I don’t believe in chewing the fat when I know they’re busy. I get straight to the point. Anyway, one buttinsky was nice and waited patiently for her turn. But another buttinsky interrupted me midquestion. Ggggrrrr! Well of course I had to turn around and show her my game face and she quickly found another counter after that. Anyway, the Bobbi Brown corrector is one of the best. You put it under your eyes under your foundation to get rid of the dark circles. The concealer is just okay. I have found concealers at a fraction of the price that covers better.

Oh bless him, Luis tried SO hard to find a foundation match for me, but alas I am too ghostly for Bobbi. He is fantastic, and even sent me home with samples. Luis cares about his customers and is really knowledgeable of the line. Worth going just for him! Other counters could take some notes on service from him. Bobbi Brown’s line itself is beautiful. Stop by if you’re looking for sophisticated, polished-looking cosmetics. Some things are a bit on the pricy side, but this stuff is great quality. Worth the splurge.

Got a free makeup counter makeover, which was amazing. False eyelashes and concealer can do wonders!!! Plus, I didn’t end up looking like a transvestite which is always a good thing. I looovee the quality of all the makeup at Bobbi Brown, which has a great variety of natural palettes for eye shadows. The makeup artists are very helpful and know what they’re talking about. The counter itself is bigger than other Bobbi Brown counters I’ve seen, and you should stop by if you’re into quality and natural looking makeup.

A couple of weekends ago 2 friends and I went to the Bobbi Brown makeup counter at Nordstrom’s in South Coast Plaza for a free makeup lesson. This was different than the normal make up counter makeovers. It was an actual scheduled class with 12 students(only 7 showed up for our session), held in a room upstairs with an instructor and 3 makeup artists to guide you in personally doing your own makeup from start to finish. Though the class was free and there was no obligation to buy products, we all knew that we would be suckered into buying something. I went with what I thought was very realistic intentions, get out for under $ 100 and all will be well. All was not well, at least on the wallet. I am embarrassed to say how much money I spent… it’s been a couple of weeks and I have had a chance to fully assess my purchases. I am happy to say this week I am returning 4 products(that I did not use and I bought cheaper versions of at Target). This is a bonus of buying makeup at an expensive counter, they will take it back… whether you used it or not as long as you have the receipt. Something to keep in your back pocket. Back to the makeup lesson… my biggest fear was we were going to walk out of there looking like hookers with so much make up on. Don’t get me wrong, we had a ton of makeup on when we left, but surprisingly we looked completely natural. No hookers in sight… except at the MAC counter where there was a line of girls in chairs being made up for prom. For all you ladies out there I will impart my main takeaways from the Bobbi Brown experience: 1. Try cream blush(Pot Rouge). I will never go back to powder. 2. Once you even out your skin with foundation/coverage of your choice(or none at all), don’t put on powder yet or do your eye makeup… go straight for the cream blush and then lips next. It brings an amazing amount of color and freshness to your face, you will be inclined to use less eye makeup cause you look so damn good. The Pot Rouge(mentioned above) is for use on your lips and cheeks. 3. For a natural look, match your lipstick in the same color tone as your lips. For some reason in my many years of applying make up, this concept has never occurred to me. I just picked a color I liked. If you pick a color that is in the same tone as your natural lip color it enhances your lips… especially with a few swipes of lip gloss on top for that dewy look. 4. Gel eyeliner is the bomb! I have actually been using this product from Bobbi Brown long before the makeup lesson and its way cool! I just completed 2 full weeks of doing my makeup with the Bobbi Brown products… it has added time to makeup regimen, but is well worth it, cause now I’m super hot!
