Came to the ebar to quench my thirst. I was hesitating what kind of drinks I should order here since I am a Starbucks girl and I have only ordered cookies here so far. I ordered their Italians soda. Very good! The cashier was nice and quick too. I’ll try their caffeine drinks next.

Rude customer service, closes 30 minutes early apparently. I stood there in line at 6:30 and the girls behind the counter just stared at me before finally deciding to tell me they were closing up. E bars usually have good coffee but i will not come here again.

My favorite place to get my coffee! My order is the double shot espresso with ice and caramel! My daily favorite

Though they don’t give mall employee discounts unless you work in Nordstrom, they are a pretty friendly staff and very accomodating when you want to customize a certain beverage. Some of their pastries I prefer than most places in the plaza, however they are a bit pricey(big portions, though) They run out of their pre-made pastas and salads right away, so if you want those things, get it as soon as they open. It’s better and it’s fresh!

This place was recently(within the last two months) shutdown by the Health Department so now I’m wondering why Nordstrom has not stepped up to improve the quality of the establishment. Extremely overrated and overpriced for food that doesn’t meet Health code standards!

NOSEATING Ran out the dark brew. So, they substituted with Americano at the lower price. That works for me. You’ll find the coffee stand in front of the second floor entrance to Norstrom. Bench seating located on both sides of the escalator by Tiffany’s.

If you’re looking for an excellent shot of espresso, skip Starbucks, et al. and head over to Nordstrom in South Coast Plaza. The Ebar is on the second level toward macy’s. Friendly, fast. This is by far the best pull in town. I’d have to go back to Italy to get better.

There’s just something so special about stopping by the e-bar for a coffee mid-day pick me up. Their seasonal offerings are unique and delicious. FYI, they serve their hot drinks on the very HOT side, so if you know the temp of water you like then do tell them.

You look at the menu, you figure out what you want, you order, you wait for your order, you get your order, you leave. Please don’t be one of those people who get in line, don’t know what they want, take forever to order, block everyone else in line, wait impatiently, grab the wrong drink, leave, come back, bitch and moan that they got the wrong drink, take both correct and wrong drink, and leave. I hope karma’s a bitch. Anyways, ordering items isn’t too bad, but you are battling all sorts of clientele… most who are rude, impatient, forget what they ordered seconds after they ordered, and they cut in line. They also think they are super-privileged and everyone should lick their boots. Ugh… Anyways, only main gripe the bf and I would have is that when they are calling out the complete orders, they aren’t specific. «A smoothie!» «A tea!». Okay… there’s a few of us standing around for smoothies and teas. Which one is it that you just made? :/ Taste-wise, it’s not too bad, but it doesn’t taste gourmet or the full $ 4. They do put in some extra flavors that try and give it the wow factor, but we kind of just drink it without thinking much about it. Sometimes, though, the smoothies taste like they have tons of sugar. Maybe they’re using a powder mix? Prices are okay, but a few cents pricier. Is it worth it? Well, it’s South Coast Plaza, so the inflation isn’t surprising. It’s a convenient place to get something, though. Will probably be back. Just really irritating to deal with the other customers. I can only imagine how the employees deal with it…

Came by to grab a cup of coffee the other day and it was quite nice. Despite a line of ~10 people. The staff was friendly and the line moved along. Ordered a Mocha w/half the sweetener and extra foam. The drink came out as requested for $ 3.5. …definitely convenient as it’s located right outside Nordstrom!

Coasts Mesa, Nordstrom’s e-Bar is now banned!!! I will go as far as enter a mall’s Nordstrom’s to get a cup rather than the convenience of other particular shops that are everywhere. I have tried many different Nordstrom’s on many different occasions across the country and it’s always a consistent, fresh, strong cup regardless if the type of beans being brewed. BUT… EVERYTIME I GET A CUPATCOSTAMESA, IT’S A WATEREDDOWNMESS! I’ve asked if there is a standard ratio of coffee/water among all stores, and the answer was«yes.» Of course that’s what they’ll say. I’ve even asked on separate occasions if it was a fresh brew, and if not, I’ll get a pour-over. Of course, it’s always a fresh pot brewing. Just so I’m clear, every other Nordstrom’s I’ve tried is excellent. I’d recommend the House blend mostly, but try any of their varieties that are brewing for the day… just not at Costa Mesa. There’s too many other choices in South Coast Plaza to risk it again

I usually end up coming here for lunch while working in Nordstrom at SCP. Compared to other e-Bars, they have the best variety of salads, sandwiches, wraps and snacks. Staff is always super nice and friendly. The line can get a little long, but it never takes too long to get my snack, my drink and be on my way.

I’m a fan! Coffee is always good as is their service. This eBar opens earlier than Nordstrom, at least on the weekend. It’s a great place to grab a coffee and a an awesome cookie prior to the full mall opening.

We asked for«BLEND“ed and we got«BLAND“ed. Ice storm($ 3.80): What exactly is that? Brownish ice? Even Starbucks is better than frozen stormy mess. I am surprised this is from Nordstrom e-Bar. What a waste of money; I seriously thought about asking for a refund. 1 star! Nordstrom e-Bar is not yummylicious!

I had heard raving reviews of the coffee so I had to try it! I ordered a Mexican Mocha and it is delish. Delicious Mexican chocolate and coffee together in one drink, I am not a big chocolate lover so I could only drink like 5 ounces but my cousin absolutely loved it. I also bought some hazelnut wafers and OMG!!! those cookies are addicting, I am so happy I only bought one packet. Imagine the classic wafer with nutella in the middle. It is divine! I also saw Ibarra Mexican chocolate. Now, if you want good cheap Mexican chocolate, go to a Supermarket. The little bag was like $ 5.00 at Norsdstrom, you can buy a big box of Chocolate Abuelita at Costco for the same price. Anyway, I was pleased with the experience and I will be back to try other items soon.

One of the better places to take a break from shopping, have a great drink with company, and people watch as they walk to and from Nordstroms. i usually order the SUNBURSTTEA, but lately have been ordering the blended mocha lately. The iced tea is very refreshing and light, which is perfect for the great weather we’ve been having. They have great pastries and snacks too. Some of the snacks I enjoy having from here are the pretzels peanut butter… or the cookies, muffins, scones… yes yes I’ve tried just about all of it.

ICESTORM I got the blended mocha and it was good but nothing special. Antonello’s inside the mall has an amazing blended mocha that is better than this. I’m very loyal to Nordstrom for their customer service but it’s not up to par at the café.

They use the same term as Starbucks, at least the medium size they do, aka Grande. Wierd, I always thought that was some type of trademark, guess not. The mocha is good, they use a good quality chocolate. This e-Bar location is teeny tiny however so they definitely do not want you sticking around relaxing. I prefer the e-Bar in Spectrum

I probably come here at least once a week if not twice a week or even more. This is my favorite place for an iced vanilla latte. I come here so often the workers already know what I always order before I even order it. The iced vanilla latte here is a lot better and different than other coffee places. Best Latte ever. I should probably try other coffee drinks, but I can’t help, but not get the Latte here. The smoothies here are also really good also. I like the Strawberry/banana and the Mango one is also really good. Or if I’m not in the mood for coffee here, I also get the Strawberry Lemonade. Also If I am looking for a quick lunch I get their salads or warps. I recently discovered the Veggie and Hummus wrap here and it is amazingly good. So light and healthy. Their food items are made fresh daily and the quality of this place is so much better than Starbucks.
