This place is a trashy secret of mine. I always seem to park at this end of the mall when shopping all-too-frequently, and when I can proudly walk by, I feel like an alcoholic passing a liquor store or a junkie who can walk down Hastings – all without making a purchase. You get the idea. Only recently, I caved and purchased 6 minis with the intention of «sharing». All I had to do was make the 15 minute drive in a clean car without reaching into the bag to eat one. Here was how the order went down: Me: «I’ll have 6 minis. Only one raisin and two double chocolate chip please.» Thx. Girl: Hands me $ 4.99 purchase.(What a deal; this could be dangerous.) Me: Takes to car. Stops at a light to eat a «chocolate chip» one. Pulls out the one raisin meant for the healthy cookie eater. Eats it anyway. Oh well. Continues to drive. Pulls out another raisin one. And yet another. Realizes I have no double chocolate WHATSOEVER. Admittedly, the raisin were good. But I had been TRICKED. No wonder she didn’t say anything to me. She knew what she was doing. And would you believe that the raisin-oatmeal ones have MORECALORIES, or so I’ve been told by an ex Cookies-by-George-employee? No word of a LIE. So, I’m not sure when I’ll return again since I’ve lost faith in the customer service – most definitely. But the cookies are sure tasty and way better than the ghetto version that they sell in drugstores here. *Helpful hint* Those sold in drugstores are awesome heated and made into ghetto ic sandwiches, but this is only if you want to do some serious damage.

This would be two star, but I love the bleach blond Asian guy who looks like Yu Gi Oh and has a British accent. Minus one: They didn’t have any milk chocolate chip cookies. Minus two: I was given semi sweet nibblers when I settled for milk chocolate nibblers. Minus three: THEYSELLCOOKIESFROMTHEDAYBEFORE. Bro, my white chocolate macadamia nibblers were BRICKS. I have been loyal to Mrs. Fields ever since I could walk, so this makes me sad!

How did I survive 20+ years without ever having a Mrs. Fields cookie at the mall??? Mrs. Fields has officially became my favorite place to get cookies. They all taste so fresh, and the chocolate just melts in your mouth. Actually, scratch that… The chocolate melts on your fingers before they even reach your mouth. The outside of the cookie is crunch, while the middle is soft and chewy. The perfect consistency of a delicious cookie. I got 4 cookies for about $ 5. Not bad… wished they were a bit cheaper but they are so delicious and definitely worth it. Do not, however, compare the freshly baked Mrs. Fields Cookies at the mall to the packaged ones sold at markets. They taste NOTHING like the ones at the mall. I just wish they warmed it up a bit for me before handing them out. Maybe it’s a good thing. I would be diabetic and obese for sure.

I don’t even know why people eat the chocolate chip cookies anymore… have you TRIED the white chocolate macademia nut ones?!? THEYAREHEAVENINYOURMOUTH. I am drooling as I write this. I don’t know what kind of crack they’re putting in to their cookies but whatever it is, it’s working. Sometimes they have a 20 mini cookies for $ 5 deal but not always. Usually it’s buy 3 get 1 free. I wish it wasn’t so expensive for their cookie cakes/cookies in general but then again if they were cheaper I’d be 50 pounds heavier fighting diabetes.

COOKIES!!! Fast but not always friendly service. Limited drinks selection. Don’t take large bills. It’s a small counter dug into the wall of a giant shopping plaza, but it’s a pleasant experience almost every time(I say«almost» because the service is hit or miss and some of the people they hire to work here are just not fit for customer service). I always buy the little nibblers because they’re just easier to eat wherever you are — walking around, at home, at work, etc. I go to the mall on rare occasions and I always park underground next to Rain Forest. When I enter the glass doors, Mrs. Fields is always staring at me and I have to stop myself from buying a handful of their little cookies. Today, while touring a student around the area, we walked in and I was hit in the face by the unmistakable smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They had just come out of the oven and were cooling on the racks. I couldn’t resist. Special Deal: 20 nibblers for the price of a dozen. SOLD. I had one and was satisfied. The cookies are so rich and buttery that I don’t need more than one. The rest went to my student. Oh, Mrs. Field. Why can’t your store-bought cookies taste this good? *sigh*

Ok, so 1985 is calling and it wants Mrs. Fields back… I can’t remember the last time I had intentionally visited a Mrs. Fields? Back to the Future II might have been approaching #1 in the box office. Anyway, with the fam doing some holiday shopping and my better half sends me on a mission the get some cookie bites; I didn’t even really know what she was talking about, but I went with it. I purchased a bag of small assorted cookies(pretended like it was exactly what the better half wanted) and it seemed to work. I have to admit, the cookies are not half bad, which explains why the have been in business since Cyndi Lauper was actually just discovering her love for fun.

Cookies are always fresh! They have deals when you purchase more than 3 cookies. Chocolate chip with nuts are the more popular ones because they always run out. It’s nice to have your sugar fix when you go shopping.
