I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. The lady that took my order looked as though she didn’t want to be there. If you use a credit card there are options for tipping which starts at 15%. I didn’t want to tip but I did just so she wouldn’t do anything to my food, I felt that anyway. Expressionless. It’s 1 pm and I’m the only one here other than the two girls meditating at the table across from me. There is a lot of red and white color inside. The Chef brought out my food. He deserves the tip… at least he was smiling. My chicken & steak kabob plate looks delicious. The steak is hard to cut but it is tasty. The chicken is moist & much better. Not much flavor to the hummus. Somebody just walked in that the girl at the register knows so she is smiling now. Anyway. I give the food a 3−½. If the steak was better I would say a 4. Ambience gets a 3. I’ll be in no hurry to come back.

Every time I go to a new middle eastern restaurant I ask for Falafel sandwich. But this is not a new restaurant, but new owners. So I did the same and ordered Falafel sandwich, And it tastes much better than before. With the new management, I would definitely till my friends and family to start coming back to this place.

I would say this place used to be better when it was Gogo’s Pizza. Now the new owners(middle eastern old men) always seem to be super curious about customers who come in, If you look Middle Eastern, They’ll look at you trying to figure you out. If you are an American Lady, they will perversely keep staring at you like they’ve never seen a female ever before. I’m tired of coming in here. I guess I’ll have to drive freaking 20 miles to get Shawarma from Anaheim!!!

I started a new job and have driven past this place in my search for good healthy lunch options. Today I was finally lazy enough not to want to drive all the way to Subway. Honestly, I should’ve kept going. This location is next to a shady looking liquor store and had some shady looking characters out front. Walking in, I saw there were 4 people on staff, but the only person who helped customers was the chef/cashier. There were 2 older people who looked like deer in headlights when people wandered in for lunch. This made customers very confused when they waited and the only person who would help customers was also cooking. I ordered a chicken kabob which came with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. It took about 15 to 20 minutes, which the chef explained was due to their shoddy grill. It apparently doesn’t get up to heat so they cook things longer on it. Oh how delightful. It does explain why my chicken came out burned. Inside it was a bit undercooked, but not enough to get me sick, thankfully. The rice was meh and wasn’t hot. The hummus was good but the pita bread was stale and hard. Well there goes that idea. I honestly ate very little before I decided to give up and just toss it all. So glad I spent $ 10 on a waste of a meal. Guess it’s back to scouring the area for quick and tasty lunch options.
