My co-​workers have been here for happy hour but we experience a BIG delay for servers to take our drink and food order, whenever we got our servers attention they would say they will be back and it was from 10 – 15 min before they come back to check-​in on us. When we got there it was not busy there was probably about 8 tables in use and it took forever to get any service. Food and drinks where GREAT but their service not so good, maybe hire more staff for peak hours?

We had a great time here Sunday. Bottomless mimosas are awesome, all different flavors. Our bartender Elliot was amazing. Ask for him the next time you come!

Our server Justin was amazing! One of my fav spots for brunch/​dinner. And you can’t beat the $ 10.99 mimosas! ;-)

I always pass by this place on my way to the beach. My boyfriend and I finally stopped by. We had nachos as the appetizer and those nachos are monster! They are so delicious. Their filet mignon is amazing. They have great portions. Their shots are not shots, there cups of alcohol lol which is a great thing. I also had the drink bull fighter. It’s so delicious and can taste the fruitiness. They also had amazing service. We were served by the dynamic duo (duff and boomer). They are very energetic friendly and always on top of whatever you need. All staff is very friendly from the The time you arrive until you leave. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and just hangout listen to music, and if your feeling dangerous, ride a bull. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is the shit! Love it here. Every time my friends and I come we have the best time, best service and best food and drinks!!! All the employees are very friendly and always on point. Today Philip took care of us and we were very impressed! He kept our bottomless mimosas flowing from the time we came in until 3 when they stop. Thanks Philip! Good food and good fun here.

This was our 2^nd time here. The first time was on Christmas Eve. Although the food was good, we hardly saw our waitress which was odd because the place was empty!
The second trip showed a somewhat more attentive waitress but everything else went wrong! My husband ordered a cider and they brought us out a beer. The manager replaced it but then sloshed it all over the table and didn’t offer to clean it up. I asked the waitress for a side of bbq sauce for my sandwich and she brought me some kind of glaze instead. My chicken sandwich had a good char on the outside but was still raw on the inside. Unfortunately, I had already started eating it when I realized the problem. Needless to say, I lost my appetite. Both the manager and waitress kept asking me if I wanted something else to eat even after the numerous times I told them I had no appetite. It was like they weren’t listening. The only plus side was that they didn’t charge us for the drink or my dinner. Although the manager gave us his card and told us to ask for him next time we’re there, I doubt we’ll return again!

Had a great time came with a group of friends. I was a bit apprehensive coming here due to a bad experience at the Orange location… but we had a great time… drinks were great. food was good and our server Matthew D. was amazing he made sure we were taken care of.

If you’re coming here for drinks at night, great, you’ll love it… Ride the bull for me.
But if you plan to come here for food, please ask yourself this, «How many hours am I willing to spend to order 1 thing?» and if you answer is less than 2, I highly advise you do not come here.
If you have all the patience in the world then be my guest and I would also love to hire you as my personal mentor.

Saddle ranch has the best brunch in Costa Mesa. The customer service has gotten so much better over the past few years. Dom at the bar was so attentive and made awesome recommendations for what we should order to drink& eat. He also makes an insane spicy Bloody Mary. Love saddle ranch ! Definitely coming back again because of Dom.

I’ve been to this locations many times for drinks and have had a great time. So with a brunch event it seemed like a great idea. Sadly this isn’t the case. We have a large party so I can see how it might be a bit of work to maintain good service. We did get a second server to help us but both serves seem to have to much to handle. As I write this my whole table is served with food and have eaten half their meal while 3 of us wait for our food. I’ve already had to ask for silverware and get it myself from the hosts. When I asked for water I had to ask 4 different people to please get a refill. Finally I did from a whole different server. Made the fun celebration experience hard to have when your friends are all done eating and your plate finally shows up.
I spoke with the manager he was apologetic offered to find out why our food was missing. 2 plates came out and my meal still was missing. The server apologized as I told her if it wasn’t ordered to just cancel it. Then she told me «no it’s there I saw it in back I just didn’t know I needed one more plate.» My food was cold but at this point I was hungry and didn’t want to be left eating while everyone was leaving. I’d recommend coming for drinks but skip the seated food outing for a place that will give consistent quality service.

Very disappointed went with a couple of friends trying to have an enjoyable guys night out. Literally took the host 10 minutes to seat us (it was empty, very little people). When taking our order for drinks they took about 20 minutes (drinks were horrible) and one of my friends didnt even get his drink! Worst part was when we were ready to order the host ignored us for about 45minutes so we tried getting the waitresses attention from the table next to us, and that dumbass ignored us. We decided to pay for our drinks and decided to go else where.
I dont recommend going there. Horrible service.

My date and I came to saddle ranch Thursday night, we were served by Chris. He gave us attentive and outstanding service. Very kind and patient considering we had a lot of questions about the menu and mixed drinks. The drinks were great and food was good. Two thumbs up!

FOOD POISONING ALERT. Myself and 9 other coworker’s got severely sick after happy hour on Friday, 2÷12÷16. Likely culprits were appetizers: nachos or spinach dip. All of us started feeling symptoms 24 – 32 hours later. Symptoms included body aches and nausea and lasted about 48 hours.
We used to love coming to saddle ranch since it was convenient for a large group but now k think we’ll be too traumatized to return.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. I had reservations and we were seated right away. We ordered the steak sandwich with fries, truffle Mac and cheese, grilled salmon with jasmine rice and vegetables, grilled chicken with sweet potatoes and veges. The steak sandwich was okay and fries were not good. The salmon and grilled chicken was good. The sweet potato fries comes with a marshmallow sauce and it was delicious. The truffle Mac and cheese was good too. For desert we shared the cotton candy tower and got it comped for the birthday boy. Overall the service was okay, food was good, and I like the ambience. They need to do better with bussing the tables though. We sat there for a while with empty and dirty dishes on our table.

Host is a liar!
We came here for Sunday brunch and the host said it would be 20 – 30 mins for the wait. After half an hour I checked in with them and they said it would be another 15 – 20 minutes… So we waited again patiently. After waiting another 20 minutes I decided to check back one more time and they said they still needed to bus some more tables and that it would be another 15 minutes. At this point I was done. We left and went across the street to EAT CHOW. Best choice ever! This place sat us right away and the food was great.

Nice place to watch the games because they have an absurd amount of televisions. ISIS is a really sweet server. The alcohol is reasonably priced and the food is good. go for the jalapeño Mac and cheese. Also the free corn bread is delicious lol.
There’s also a mechanical bull… If you’re into that type of thing.

I’ve been here twice already and still haven’t tried their bottomless mimosas yet! Both times, service was attentive and friendly. I remember on our first time, they even brought out complimentary tower of cotton candy! I have tried their house sampler and their Cajun burger with fries and thought they were pretty tasty! I’d come back just for their burger and fries. Our party also ordered beer towers to split between the large group, which is always fun. The best part was that their beer is so fresh and crisp! Now, I have to rave about that because I’ve been to other places, such as bowling alleys and ice skating rinks, where they have served old, sour beer from their own bars! Talk about disgusting right? Well, no need to worry about that because they serve delicious beer here. :)

Went to Saddle Ranch on a 8pm Wednesday night, it was dead in there!
I think Malory was our bartender. She was so nice and explained the specials they had going on– it was half off your second shot when you order a mixed drink. We ended up getting beer instead ($ 6 for a small $ 9 for a large, more basic beers were $ 5 for small and $ 8 for large)
Ordered the nachos at the bar while we waited for our friends THEY WERE HUGE. It is $ 1.99 extra to add on guac, they didn’t put much on compared to the other stuff. They were pricey around $ 16 total I think but they giant– I’ll post a pic.
After our party of six got there we we were the only people sitting inside at a table. We had never been here before but heard they have some kind of complementary biscuit buns that were good.
After the food came out I asked the server if we would have some of these biscuits and she said they weren’t fresh right now but she would put a fresh batch in (which was nice of her). Why wouldn’t they just bring them to the table when you sit down?
Would I go back, yes, for the beer and nachos.
