My birthday drink expired and I wasn’t going to be able to get anything, but the baristas were able to take care of me. I didn’t expect that at all and it makes me glad I’ve continued to be a Starbucks customer for so long. Thank you so much, everyone!

I go in here all the time to study or just grab a quick cup of coffee before I go to work. The charging mats are great especially for late night study sessions. The baristas are great because I have a dairy allergy and they respect that.

Firstly, this location ISN’T inside the Barne’s and Noble people. Secondly, I came yesterday to order my usual tea lemonade and once I started drinking it I wanted to spit it out. I know how my usual order(PGTL) should taste and this one tasted like watered down peach syrup. I used to frequent this location all the time and it looks like they hired completely new staff. Maybe that’s why my drink came out so awful. Oh well.

I asked for a lot of room for cream and I got it. I could hardly get what I asked for from other shops like no one understands 90% coffee is not a lot of room for cream. Starbucks has strong coffee, I like it and think with just more cream it tastes perfect.

Clearly I said trenta but the cashier almost started to write it on a venti cup, but I repeated myself again before the cashier started to write my drink on the cup. Tis the season for a mango black tea lemonade. Always so refreshing and great in large quantities like a trenta cup! Service was fast and I sipped up this fine beverage to the very last drop!

If it wasn’t for the first wave — we wouldn’t have the third wave. And sometimes, it’s nice to go back to the first. The company has leveraged its success for a progressive labor model that is worker centric. Only old people think this way so I guess I know now? Cheers

This is a pretty nice Starbucks conveniently located in this shopping center in Costa Mesa. It is a very small location with barely any seating inside, but with a decent sitting area outside. Clearly, this Starbucks was meant for people passing by during their shopping. The staff here were really friendly and I was satisfied with my iced coffee.

This is probably the WORST Starbucks in Orange County due to the fact that the employees have bad costumer service and look like they hate their job the moment you walk in & the drinks are made pretty badly. When you try to see if they can fix your drink, it seems as if they are bothered that you were not satisfied.

I came to this Starbucks the day after Christmas. If was so cold out and super busy at Starbucks. I wish I got the name of the young man that was working because he was so awesome. He was friendly and patient with a smile on his face the whole time. I ordered the coffee cake and he asked if I wanted it warmed up. I order that cake ALL the time and that is the first time anyone’s ever asked me that. It was so good warm! Everyone was working so hard but you could tell they were having a good time. The good energy in the store was contagious :)

Wow. What crap service ! I come here all the time day in day out during the week with work colleagues and it’s great. However, today, Saturday, I came with my GF and she was ordering and the server, according to my GF who NEVER gets upset, was acting like a complete and utter jerk because we were trying to decide what to order. I’m really sorry that he has to get up early on a sated at and serve coffee, but he was definitely NOT up to the expected Starbucks standard and if I had been aware he had been offensive to my GF in the store I would have taken it up with Management there and then. You have a choice and I choose never to come here again

They just renovated this location and it looks great! If you live near by and go during the week this place is the best! However, weekends are crazy and it is still too small for the large crowds. The customer service is the best! and the coffee is close to perfect! So overall a good place to go… just better during the week

I always like going here just before going to work or even during my lunch break. The staff is friendly and they seem to have fun doing what they do. When they get busy and the person in front of me orders a ton of drink, they are considerate of my time, so I don’t have to wait forever to pick up my drink. People here have good customer service and they work much better than any other starbucks I’ve been to.

I love visiting this Starbucks every time I am in the area. The customer service is always great; the staff is always smiling. The employees listen to customers, and even if they get an order wrong, they admit it and remake the order for you, which I always appreciate. They give this place a humble and positive ambiance that make customers love this location. Aside from the small space and how crowded it can get, this is one of my favorite Starbucks locations.

This Starbucks is small and when it gets packed like it was when I was there, there is hardly any space to stand just to get your drink to go. Oh and good luck finding parking on the weekend, it is in a big shopping center. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because the baristas are extremely friendly and have great customer service even when they are busy! :)

I really enjoyed my experience at this store. The team member who took my order was very friendly. I paid with my Starbucks app and he noticed my Florida license. Engaging a conversation about basketball, which I thought was very kind. Really took it to another level. The drink came up and once I tasted the mocha, it was exactly what I ordered. Only knock I have on it, the drink tastes a bit chalky. To be honest, I think it was the chocolate the company uses.

Starbucks in Barns and Noble do not accept Starbucks gift cards. The cashier said they aren’t Starbucks yet she was wearing a Starbucks apron and the menu says Starbucks and all the cups say Starbucks. Interesting.

This place is located in the Barnes and Noble on the second floor. And yes they still exist. :) This place was ridiculously slow ordered a tall and the cup was half full and the other one eighth was foam. What the hell is that? Then on top on that they rinse the cup out and not just get a new one cuz they messed up?! Is that corporate standard? Then the blond girl asked if I wanted a new one and I said yes but look at the cup and see how half empty it is. Then rudely said«well that’s what I’m asking». Straight rude.

Delicious chocolate croissant, relaxing calm chamomile tea, and friendly baristas at this location with their amusing banter make this Starbucks a good location. Despite being small, this location still does a good business, and the bar stool seating by the window makes for excellent people watching as you stop to relax and enjoy a drink while running errands. There is also ample outdoor seating which is great considering the beautiful weather in Costa Mesa.
