Customer service still lacks — people who ordered first get their pizza last, no organizational skills. I tried to order in to not have to wait 45 minutes to get pizza but they turned their phone off because they can’t handle answering the phone and make pizza. There are 6 people working here, how hard is it to get organized and keep the customer happy? Probably will go out of my way to go to the papa Murphys in Petaluma.

No bills larger than $ 20? Seriously?!? The young man explaining this poor policy was apologetic, but for an establishment where dinner for me, my girlfriend, & a 3rd person was $ 21.50 this seems ridiculous. I was in & out in under 7 minutes… because the store was empty on a Saturday night. I wanted to pay cash but couldn’t because I only had one $ 20 bill & several larger bills. If this is typical store policy, it would explain why no less than 8 employees were standing around with nothing to do. Note to the owner/manager: You should reconsider making it difficult for your customer to give you cash. Plastic costs the business a fee and inconveniences those that prefer to use cash. At least put up a sign making the store policy clear, so one doesn’t order & then be required to use something other than cash.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Never had rude service and the food is always ready on time and very good, and u can’t beat the price. Easy and convenient location too.

Seems like they could use some management. They all work hard but almost seem like there are probably systems in Place that are not getting executed. Too many rookie mistakes. Other than that I really like this place. The prices are low which is very good for us. The food is good and I don’t mind cooking it myself.

Just moved to this area recently, so we have had pizza a few times this month. First time there was no sauce for our cheesy bread that we ordered when we got home. Today my husband called in a family size they had a large made up when he got there. When asked them to correct it they were not happy about it. Staff need to pay attention more at this location.

I love papa Murphys. Always have. Today was the most terrible experience I’ve ever had at this location. The employee was clearly upset that I had bothered her by calling in a pizza. I arrive and am greeted with a stank eye. I order two pizzas. Both heart shaped for valentines day and I receive three large pizzas with one being a poorly put together heart. The other two just regular. I inform her of this but obviously from the moment I entered I was a bother to her. So of course I didn’t get what I ordered and she was of no help. Worst time I’ve ever had at an establishment.

You can always find personable staff here, I’m a bit of a conversationalist so as long as you engage someone in conversation you will find everyone here has tons of personality and fun to hang with while they make your pizza. Even asking for light this or extra that kinda reminds me of going to subway or a sandwich spot. It’s awesome, adding garlic to the cowboy made it SOOOMUCHBETTER! lol Also adding extra cheese to the garlic chicken was a good call. The Mediterranean chicken delite is a killer pie to try. Make sure you ask for some herb & cheese too. That stuff is mouthwatering magical madness. They even have desert pizza and cookie dough you can bake after the pizza is done. Soda coolers and salads ready to take home. Great concept, quick and easy and super affordable to feed folks for dinner.

Would never even have thought about going here but my roomate told me I had been missing out. Why would I go get a pizza that I still had to cook? It didnt make sense to me. The pizza was great, the only reason I am docking it, is because of the idea that we still had to cook it. I know that that is there business model but still having to cook something after is weird to me. The pizza was huge for the price!

Sorry Cotati staff — you’re terrible. Now I personally think giving a place a bad review based on just one occurrence isn’t too fair. So let me first state that this review is based on several recent occurrences in the last 2 months. First of all — we have used Papa Murphys for feeding our hungry clan for well over 10 years. Over that time between my husband and I, we have ordered hundreds o pizzas. In fact Papa Murphy’s is on our dinner table at least 2 – 3 times per month. With that said, I’d like to explain the utter disappointment and outright disrespect that the folks at the Cotati location have shown us. We have used this place 4 times in the last 6 weeks. Two times the orders were completely incorrect. As a family we do not order odd combinations, make difficult requests, or any of the sort. We may order a pizza at «half this — half that», or perhaps with white sauce as oppose to red, but other than that — we are pretty simple. The last time that my husband was in to pick up a pizza they: 1) Forgot the order.(We arrived 20 minutes after the actual«ready» time, just to make sure that it would be ready) 2) When they finally started, half way through the«pizza guy» made a mistake and had to stop. ***** At this point you think he would tell my husband, apologize, and start a new pizza. NOPE. 3) They disregarded the fact that he was standing right there and started making pizzas on another order. When my husband asked them a) Why did you stop? and b) Why didn’t you tell me? They began to give him tons of excuses to the tune of «We are really busy» «It’s Oscar night» etc etc. When my husband asked for some sort of compensation for waiting nearly FORTY minutes for a pizza that wasn’t even complete — the Supervisor offered«a complimentary side» That was it. He asked for his«complimentary money back please» and we left. We went down the street to a competitor — spent the same amount of money and had a pizza COOKED hot and ready within 15 minutes. Sorry Murphs… your Customer Service is terrible and your team is nothing short of feeble.

This place is a mess. I’ve been coming here for years now. If it weren’t for the great prices-when they charge you correctly– I’d stop coming here. They don’t honor their coupons or even know what their specials are, half the staff is completely rude and incompetent and the other half seems to be constantly changing. I’ve had more bad service and messed up orders here than anywhere else. In fact I think I will stop coming here all together.

When I want to grab a pizza and get home, I’m going here. I love the take and bake concept. This location has always had fast service. They know you want to get your pie and get home. I’ve tried to call ahead a couple of times. A little slow to pick up the phone. I just came over and got it made. They’ve been making premade salads and stuff to just grab and go. I’ve pretty much stuck with the pizza. Favorite is the Chicken Garlic. Nummy.

I want to give this place a solid review but I can’t. It really all depends on who is working and it sucks that whenever I order a pizza here it’s not up to pare with the Papa Murphy’s name. When someone orders extra cheese don’t be stingy on the cheese. I honestly wonder if it has to do with new management or rules because before it was never an issue to get extra cheese(and since I’m paying for it I should get it) and all of a sudden I have to run to Safeway for mozzarella. I’m very disappointed in how Papa Murphy’s is run now. And if it wasn’t for it being the only one close by I wouldn’t go.

I’m more of a Round Table kind of girl, but my husband loves the take&bake. Their pizza is defiantly above average(kinda greasy, but what pizza isn’t), but there’s been multiple occasions when the pizza wasn’t ready when they promised.

I used to frequent Papa Murphy’s but over the last several months, their quality has taken a serious dive. Is it under new management or something? Our favorites were the Combo Calzone and the Chicago Stuffed pizzas. The last several times I ordered the Calzone, it was absolute trash and didn’t even have ricotta cheese on it. The last few times we ordered the Chicago style stuffed pizza, It was as though they cut the contents by nearly ½! Get this, the Calzone(which is merely a ½ pizza folder over with different sauce and cheese) cost the same as a Chicago style? I don’t think so! Even after this change, I did return a couple of times but I now have to say that I for one will probably never return.

Epic fail. A truly EPIC. FAIL. How could a great place like this bring itself to such a low that it honestly scares me. How? How?! HOW?! Okay, now let me explain. So, it was around the sixth time I’ve gone there i think, i order two pizzas. They get both wrong. Ugh, i GUESS i can understand why restaurants make mistakes like these, but it really gets on my nerves. But here’s the real problem: When i tried to ask for a new pizza? Sorry, you gotta bring the actual pizza here. Okay, i understand why you guys may be a bit nervous about it, but seriously? You don’t believe me? Tell me, has ANY other restaurant done that before? Not any that i have gone to so far. Thanks, Murphy’s. Thanks a lot. For getting my hopes up for NOTHING.

Not bad not great the quality of the toppings are one step down but you get what you pay for. I do like the take and bake part.

I think four stars is fair, it reflects that it isn’t incredible pizza, but it isn’t exactly trying to be. Papa Murphy’s is great for when you want a lot of decent pizza without having to spend much money. A good choice for parties or having family/friends over. There are a lot of better pizza places, but please at least choose Papa Murphy’s over Little Caeser’s when you are looking for a value.
