Sasee Salon

A friend referred me to Amy at Sasee, my first appointment was just OK. I am always early so I showed up 10 minutes early, Amy showed up 10 minutes late so I sat outside an empty salon for 20 minutes. My highlighting was fine but the cut was shorter than I would like, admittedly due to damage I caused with a curling iron. It was a few months before I needed a trim so I made another appointment with Amy, she could not get me in with my schedule for 3 weeks. I showed up for my second appointment and was told she was running 45 minutes behind, she asked if I could go run an errand and come back, that did not work for my schedule so we rescheduled for the following week. I show up early for my rescheduled appointment and I don’t see Amy but there are 3 other stylists working, I sit down and wait 20 minutes before anyone asks me who I am there to see, when I say Amy they say she’s not coming in today. One of the stylists offers to text her which she proceeds to do and Amy’s reply is sorry, she meant to message me but she’s sick. My experience with Amy & Sasee were the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Needless to say I will not be going back.

I had a great first experience at Sasee with Tara! She was patient as I was explaining what kind of cut I wanted, and I’ve loved my cut both times I’ve gone to her. The salon feels intimate but cozy, but was spacious and they are very accommodating — they have a cute little coffee and tea set up and a nice waiting area. Tara was awesome! She’s super nice and personable, and she’s very attentive to her clients’ wants/​needs. She totally understood my hair type, and gave me great advice how to tame the frizz. I don’t usually go to salons, but I felt totally comfortable at Sasee because of the friendly staff. My haircuts have both been incredibly affordable, and each time I expected to pay more. Awesome spot with good quality, affordable haircuts!

Again… Eden knocks it out of the ballpark with a custom perfect haircut. I have battled my hair my entire life but with Eden at the helm my hair is finally manageable and adorable. Eden always makes me feel like I am important and well taken care of. She brings her craft to a whole new level of expertise and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you Eden, you «da Bomb»

Amanda is the best! I have blonde hair and she definitely knows what she’s talking about. I’ve seen her for a while now, I moved to Marin and I will definitely continue going to her! She explains in detail what she’s doing so there are never questions. Very accommodating!

I love coming in to see Amy. She knows my hair and I’m always confident that I’ll be happy with whatever she does. The atmosphere of the salon is so relaxing and like you’re hanging with your girlfriends. I highly recommend Sasee Salon!

I had a wonderful experience this morning at Sasee. I love getting haircuts, but I have tricky hair so it is hard for me to trust hair stylists. I have only ever trusted one lady in my life, but we lost touch. I now live in Santa Barbara, but am back here in my hometown for break, and desperately needed my hair fixed because the $ 10 Paul Mitchell girls in SB did a not-​so-​great job. I’m so happy I found this salon and got a last minute apt with Tara. She was so friendly and down-​to-​earth, and I felt completely safe in her hands — she knew what she was doing, listened to ever detail I told her and was responsive to it. The best customer service a person can give! She was also interested in who I was and we had nice chit-​chat throughout the experience. The salon is really nice and spacious as well and they offer drinks. Tara did an impeccable job on my hair and did it a lot faster than other stylists have been able to. I could not be happier. It is so incredibly refreshing to get an amazing hair cut — and on top of that, this salon is SO cheap for the type of service they provide! I have never gotten my hair cut this well for less than $ 60 and this is a HUGE PLUS and makes me love them even more! I really hope I get the chance to get my hair cut here again when I come back up for a visit.

The BEST color of my life! Amber is incredible. A true artist. I went in to get my non-​Ombré fixed to an ombré. She listened so well to what I wanted and had great input in the process. I completely trusted her, and it paid off, it’s the most beautiful, modern, trendy, yet individualized hair cut and color I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back to her. Thank you Amber!!!

Amanda is amazing with color as well as styling. She is a book of knowledge when it comes to everything to do with hair. Will always trust her talents and friendship.

Tara cuts my hair every other month or so. She is wonderful! Charming and great for casual conversation. She’s super thorough. She washes my hair and everything! She does not charge enough for the service she gives. You gotta swallow your pride a little, man up and go to a salon called sasee. But, worth it.

I had my first cut here with Tori today and had an awesome experience. I have short (like, SHORT) hair and it can be really hard to find a stylist who can give me a GOOD cut. She knew all the ins and outs of my hair, had fantastic creative vision, and all the cutting skills to back it up. I walked out with an awesome faux hawk and was totally satisfied. Also, she and her other staff members were super down-​to-​earth and fun to talk to, which just made it an overall comfortable and enjoyable experience. Wish I had found her sooner, will definitely be back!

I’ve been seeing Tori since ’06 and have been blessed to have such a talented professional working on my locks. Tori has recovered my hair from homeless looking to runway ready. Her pricing is extremely reasonable and her company is fabulous. She’s down to earth and extremely personable. I could never imagine going to anyone else.

I love my hair dresser, Tori, and I let her make all the decisions because she is the professional and I am always happy when I leave Sasee Salon! I tell her when I have hair or makeup issues and she gives great suggestions.

Tara does my hair at Sasee, and she is amazing! Cut 4 inches off my hair for a change I was nervous about… But she DID exactly what I wanted and loved it. I’ll keep going back :)

Tara is awesome! She is talented and does beautiful work. My hair was a mess when I came to her and she patiently gave me ideas — colored & cut my hair beautifully. It’s easy to schedule appointments, she accommodates to my schedule and the hair salon is very classy chic. The prices are reasonable and the products they use are wonderful! You will not be disappointed.

I have Amy Lawrence do my Brazillian Blowout every few months and she is amazing! My hair frizzes so badly especially in the rainy or humid seasons and she is my life saver! Although I see Amber for my cut and style, I would not hesitate to go to Amy for that too, if Amber were to be unavailable. I have seen Amy’s work on other people and she has done some really beautiful transformations. She is an excellent colorist! I feel very confident in going to either of these ladies, knowing that I will walk away completely satisfied with their work!

Amanda is amazing! I will leave the salon loving my cut and color. I have referred many friends and family to her and they all love her as well! I definitely recommend her!

Emily Fye is my eyebrow master! I have searched high and low for someone to perfect the shape I was looking for! I showed her one picture and she was so patient, listened to my requests. She went on with her magic! She has repeatedly given me the same shape each time without having to review before each appt! She also has helped me with my skin. Can we say adult acne and DRY! She has helped get me on a plan to clear up my skin and keep it glowing while in my 30s! She’s not quick to push product sales on you. She allows you to see if the products she’s trying work for you. Then she will be sure to get you all dialed in when it comes to all your skin care. I trust Emily and refer her every time! She’s also very sweet, carries a beautiful smile and has very calming energy!

Amy Lawrence has been my hair dresser for over five years. I came to her with my hair fried from another hairdresser and was extremely stressed out about the damage. First of all she comforted me the minute I got in the chair by the way she handle the situation. Then with time my hair was healthy and the style was exactly what I was looking for.
I am extremely picky about who touches my hair from having too many bad hair days. I schedule appointment with her every 3.5 — 4 weeks and in the five years that I have been using her services I have only cancel twice.
I can’t recommend Amy enough. She has been doing hair for almost 20 years, she is hip, knowledgeable, friendly and gives you her attention when your sitting in her chair.
