I went to the Home Depot in Coventry to rent a rug/​upholstery cleaner. The rental was 20.00 for 24 hours with a 50.00 refundable deposit on the machine. The cleaner was sold separately and costed as much as the machine rental. Once I got the machine home I cleaned a few rugs and then noticed there wasn’t any attachment for the upholstery function. When I asked Home Depot they told me I needed to ask for the parts to do upholstery. If I am renting a rug/​upholstery cleaner then why would I need to ask for the parts separately? That doesn’t make much sense. I didn’t want to pay for another day with the cleaner so I returned it without cleaning my couches. They didn’t offer any extra time or an apology for the inconvenience. Thanks Home Depot.

This is the best place to shop for home improvement needs. The service is the best I have experienced in any store. Everyone seems to know where everything is located. They seem knowable about aspects of home improvement.

Like all home improvement stores, everything’s here and reasonably priced. Best thing it offers is an impressive app – to help you find what your looking for, by aisle, when there’s no staff to be found. Do yourself a favor and download it today!

Stopped in here for a random thing, that I remembered seeing here a while back– one of those walls of random gift cards… I didn’t find it, must have been mistaken… It was a quick stop, but the employee at the door was very helpful (in telling me they didn’t have the wall of goods) and appologetic… hey, can’t win em all. Went to CVS and they had what I was looking for! Next time I need nails I’ll be back.

OK, I will never — I repeat, NEVER — be one of those happy people in the HD ads that you see banging in their new hardwood floors, installing a new sink, or painting 6 rooms while dressed nicely and smiling at their significant other. It’s just not going to happen… ever. However, I needed a couple of things to complete a small (REALLY SMALL) project that even I can do, so off I went to the HD. This location is awesome — carts all nicely lined up outside, lots of employees who asked if I needed help (do I look that confused?), self-​checkout lanes… you get the idea.
There are some bad Home Depot stores, but this is a great one!
