The food is fresh and light. The Breakfast Bagel is delicious. If you are looking for something a little different come here.

Good food, free coffee refills, sweet music. Sweet and Savory is a nice place to chat with friends or enjoy a quick meal solo. The art on the walls is a nice touch.

This is a decent little restaurant. Food was ok. I had French toast, eggs, and Bacon. Seemed a little pricey for what they give. Coffee is unlimited self serve which I didn’t care for. I dont want to get up in the middle of eating to refill and make my coffee to my liking before returning to my table. Condiments are also located in the front which I assume I’d have to get up and get if I needed it. Besides the nice comfy atmosphere there’s not much more to this place.

Such a cute, friendly little place. Ordered the egg and cheese bagel and it was delicious. The coffee was great too! Prices are fair and the service was on point. I will definitely come back!

Dry and tasteless French toast, and dry and tasteless breakfast sandwich. And it’s not like it was cheap either. Complete waste of money.

Been here a few times and have been very pleasantly surprised. It’s a cute little café with indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. Every time I’ve been here Andrew has been the one to greet us, offer suggestions, and take our order. He’s very pleasant, helpful, and service-oriented. I appreciated his very first suggestion of the«ultimate breakfast bagel»… Warm toasted bagel, cream cheese, egg, avocado, red onion, jalapeños, and tomatoes. The flavors come together amazing… Every bite is a bit of sweet and savory. When you bite into a crisp jalapeño, your taste buds water. You know it’s good when the server walks by your table with entrees and you can’t help but stare at them and think to yourself, «Self, I need to try whatever that is next time!» I was actually pissed when I saw someone order food here and then go get Starbucks to drink. They sat right outside eating their meal and drinking out of their red Starbucks cup. Really? WTF. I felt very bad for this café when people do things like this. Do you want them to stay in business? Here are a few pics:

This place is a wonderful gem! I was looking for something different; tired of fast food. Service was excellent and very fast. I was impressed by the freshly made-to-order food and pleasant décor. Very comfortable to sit by yourself or chat with a friend or group. Highly recommend!

I ordered San Dimas Panini with mushroom, horseradish mayo and roast beef. It was good! Nice environment. Quiet. I would study here but they close early. Good service since it is slow. Nice place to have a nice, quiet lunch or place to have a talk with someone.

As breakfast places go there are many choices. If you’re in West Covina area, this place is for you! Their breakfast was a great value and the quality was awesome! I had the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten many. This is the first chorizo burrito I’ve ever eaten that had NOGREASE and still taste great(checkout the pictures of the paper the burritos was wrapped in). My wife had the French toast she said it was light and fluffy and not overly sweet. It was our first time at this restaurant and it won’t be our last! Great job guys! Staff was really friendly and made sure you were satisfied.

Was bummed their espresso machine was down but they redeemed themselves with a delicious breakfast sandwich. Perfect size and made right. My aunt had the French Toast and it looked wonderful, she would have preferred it a but more cooked but that’s a preference we’ll mention next time. Otherwise very flavorful. Will definitely back.

I’ve been to the Covina location and San Dimas one. They are both very nice. I love the French toast sand which with the ham and basin, powder sugar and syrup. Sweet and savory. It’s my fave on the menu. They have good desserts and coffee.

We had the Avocado Bacon and Turkey Sandwich, it was so fresh and delicious. We stopped for lunch and the service was fast and staff so pleasant and courteous. Can’t wait to return and try their other sandwich selections. Will definitely return and highly recommend if you are in the Covina area to make it a point to stop by. I understand they have another in San Dimas will check it out!

Don’t typically venture out to Covina but this place a great mom & pop alternative to Dennys or IHOP. The service is friendly and welcoming. Came for breakfast and tried their seasonal pancakes(strawberry) & apple cinnamon stuffed french toast. The pancakes were A-Okay, nothing crazy to rave about but the stuffed french toast is where its at! It was sweet and delicious. I would have loved to try their lunch menu, they’ve got great sandwich options. Parking is free on the streets. They accept cash & credit. Check in on Unilocal to get off 20% your meal!

SANDWICHES Spicy Chicken — incredible warm sandwich with jalapeño and cheese goodness Avocado Turkey Bacon — this is one of the best BLT variations I’ve had in LA. It’s so simple, but one perfectly.

First let me say the food is really good. I usually get breakfast here, but it always fantastic. It taste way better than IHOP, Denny’s, or any other chain restaurant. I personally love the décor. I read one review where someone didn’t care to much for the dinning tables with the upholstered chairs. I think it gives the place an at home feeling and makes it easier if you have large groups.

I popped in Sweet Savory Café on Saturday, around noon or so, for breakfast. I was extremely hungry and scurried right up to the counter to place my order. They offer a variety of breakfast options, but I was drawn to the make-your-own scrambler. The scramble(consisting or four eggs!) comes with a bowl of fruit, two pieces of bacon and toast. A generous portion, indeed. If that wasn’t enough, I also ordered the scrambler to be a combo, adding two pancakes to the meal. The scramble was absolutely delicious, satisfying the savory craving my body was yearning for. It included all of the veggies and meat that I selected. The toast was also delightful; it’s easy to ascertain that it’s homemade, having a soft, thick, lovely chew to it. And the pancakes? Also a home run. Dusted lightly with powdered sugar, I slathered maple syrup all over them to make the perfect bite. My brunching companion and I also shared an eggnog muffin they had on display at the front counter. That was also wonderful. Loved the creamy filling! It brought back childhood memories of Hostess cakes, but it was much tastier. If I were a local Sweet Savory Café would be on my rotation list for breakfast spots. If you’re a local and you haven’t stopped by, then you’re just missing out.
