WaBa Grill

I just got my salmon bowl and seriously I paid mostly for a bowl of brown rice the salmon fillet was at best 2oz I didn’t bother to check the portion while I was there my order was to go and I’ve eaten at other WaBa grill locations before and order the same salmon bowl and the portion of salmon was more than 41/​2oz so that’s why I didn’t think I had to check out my bowl and make sure there was enough salmon. One thing is for sure I do not recommend this WaBa grill location unless you don’t mind paying $ 7.75 for a bowl of brown rice and 1 or 2oz salmon fillet and I definitely will never go back to this WaBa grill.

Not clean when you walk in, my chicken was either fat or dry and crispy. Always go to one in Glendora I made a mistake this once feel like my money was wasted will not be coming. back to this location.

I love waba grill. but i will not be returning to this location, the staff looks like thy are being forced to work here, just do yourself a favor and quit your job if you hate it that much, you can see how dirty the place is the moment you walk in. My rice and chicken was dried and my broccoli was hard to chew.
My best advice: do not come here!

First and last time at this location we love waba but this place is absolutely disgusting and dirty from the floors to tables to the soda and sauce area. It’s only 3 pm and the floors all look like they haven’t been cleaned for a week! They have iced tea but only offer regular sugar no substitutes. The bathrooms are another they are dirty and graffiti everywhere.

This place is disgustingly dirty, I notified them soda had no carbon the response was… they are checking it. Still waiting with empty cups in hand & not yet anybody say machine is ready to go … Not only that, soda machine has MOLD sitting in tray … Never ever coming back! This place should be shut down! (Minimum wage is going up) f! That! was only forced to put star up to continue my comment on here!

This location is definitely more expensive. $ 7 for a chicken veggie bowl and I just paid $ 9.54 for a salmon veggie bowl. That’s ridiculous!

I went to Waba Grill a few minutes ago with a friend and we were eating and around 9:12 PM the lady at the register (blonde hair) says you guys were closed in a rude way… and the customers next to us that we’re eating asked her what is she trying to say (since they had just got their food 5 mins before) and she replies in a rude tone «well I told you we were going to close when you were ordering». She was so rude and unprofessional. She pretty much just stood there waiting for everyone to hurry up leave I thought it was so rude and I will never be returning to this location again… My friend and I were not told that they were about to close when we were ordering so we couldn’t even enjoy our dinner… We were rushed… Usually places wait for their last customers to leave and then clean the tables but this lady was something else she was a real bitch… because of her I won’t be coming to this location and I will defineltly not recommend that location to anyone else either…

I walked in at 855pm. As soon as we walked in, the lady says, «we have no veggies «. What kind of shit is that. Horrible service

WaBa Grill is just about the same as Flame Broiler. So if you like Flame Broiler you should also like WaBa. It’s a teriyaki bowl fast food joint with on an emphasis on being a bit of a healthier option than other fast food joints like it. The menu is very simple with combinations of chicken or beef that come with our without veggies. I come here about once every two months or so when my family needs a quick dinner and i don’t have time to cook and want something that comes close to real food and isn’t typical fast food. I’ve cine here now about a half dozen times and have always had a good experience. I find that the service is decent enough with the employees being pleasant and the food coming out quick. The price is a bit higher than other fast food places of the same type.

I’ve ate at this place many times now and I think I won’t be coming back. Sometime the food is really good and well cook, but there are other times where the food is really gross to eat that I ended up throwing up and vowing not to come to this place any more. I’ve had the chicken bowl where the chicken was just plain cold and not even cook. It’s like they just precook it and left it cooling for hours before they put it in the bowl. It was so gross. Then there were other times where I order something else and it tasted so sour and nasty that I wonder what they actually did to the meat to make it taste like crap. No more, There just way too many incident where the food is served horrible. I will not be coming to this place hoping they will cook it right, it should be right every time I come here. I won’t be wasting my money here anymore.

This by far has been the worst location I have ever been to. Every single one of my visits (I gave them 3 strikes) was terrible.
I contacted them through their website in hopes it would improve their service but only got compensated by a coupon and an apology with a promise that they would speak to management.
So on my last visit, I was served raw Salmon (I took a picture and sent it directly to the manager, possibly the ceo, but never got a reply. After waiting 14 minutes and having to deal with snickering remarks in spanish between the female cashier and the male «cook» I received my salmon uncooked. I sadly ate a portion of the cooked side and left the rest on the tray, hoping they pick it up and notice they gave me uncooked salmon.
I will not revisit this Waba Grill ever again, and will not recommend this location to anyone. Drive the extra miles and go to the west covina location, there you will get a smile and fully cooked food in a fast manor. By all means avoid this highschool drama fest and pick somewhere else.
Good luck to the female cashiers, you shouldnt be hitting on every «attractive» male that walks in unless your producing good quality food. And to the «owner» of this establishment, please, please, do not contact me. I will not «give you another try».

Always been a huge fan of this place. Not because I’m a health nut or anything but because it’s really good! It’s always a plus when u can get something that not only is good but is on the healthier side. Usually if it good it’s not healthy. O and BTW this place is definitely better than flame broiler! Flame Broiler taste a little burnt for my liking.

The first thing I notice walking in was Floor, tables and chairs were all dirty. We need Gordon Ramsey in this place, ASAP!

Quick fast service, than again they just opened and no one else was here… But, since I was on my lunch half hour, I appreciate it!

The staff is always nice. This location is clean and the food is always hot and fresh and pretty tasty. I recommend the chicken bowl and the salmon bowl. Love me some yummy teriyaki!

This place has pretty good teriyaki. You can easily compare this place to a Yoshinoya or a Flame Broiler. But I would definitely say that this place is better than Yoshinoya because it does seem a lot healthier.
The steak and chicken are pretty good here, but honestly, don’t buy the plates. Buy the bowl instead, unless you want to pay three extra bucks for a handful of chopped iceburg lettuce and half an orange.
But overall, this a pretty good place! The restaurant is clean, the service is good, and the product is good.

Not as quite as good as Flame Broiler, but way healthier than Yoshinoya. NO MSG!
Plus it’s pretty cheap and they serve their chicken bowl with a good portion of meat. I always ask for sauce on the side, but it’s light enough that I wouldn’t even feel guilty finishing a whole bowl with them serving it the way it is. Fast food… yes, they are pretty fast in serving it. But the quality, it’s real plate and utensil worthy.
Also, they have these on going specials that could tempt anyone to eat there several times a week. Yup, not bad, not bad at all.

I had always passed by this place, but wasn’t quite sure what it was. Then I got a coupon in the mail. So one night when I wanted greasy junky chinese food I searched for a possibly healthier option that could curb the carving and this is what I found.
I grabbed my coupon and headed over. The coupons were for rice bowls or plates, and I intended on getting a chicken bowl. But then I saw the chicken veggie bowl and opted for that (because I’m a sucker for broccoli and carrots). So I didn’t end up using them.
I handed over my $ 13 for 2 meat/​veggie bowls, which seemed like a lot. However, when I was handed over the food it was heavy so I didn’t feel too bad about the $ 13. The carrots and broccoli were perfectly cooked, and I would’ve loved having more of either one of those rather than the insane amount of cabbage that was packed in there. The chicken was good, and the steak (I stole a bite from the other bowl) was delicious. Realistically, the bowl would’ve lasted me 2 meals but I pigged out and ate it all. Then regretted it because I was way too full.
My mom asked what WaBa Grill was and I told her «a way better yoshinoya.» I’d definitely choose this place over the competitor.
