Went to this place for the first time today for lunch with my husband after church. I honestly would only go here for either breakfast food or coffee. The rest of the menu just appeared to be burgers and sandwiches and just didn’t appeal. I am into Fitness & being healthy so I got an omelette & asked for the egg white only. I asked if I could get fresh fruit as my side. My husband got the regular omelette and all the fatty sides. His meal was huge & for some reason mine. Portion was cut in half. I’m not going to complain though. I guess if you order healthy at a restaurant they automatically assume your on a diet and give you a tiny portion? It was very tasty & it was healthy. The coffee is wonderful too. Very nice place & nice young ladies who work there as well. We will be back.

Food is always delicious, but the amount of time it takes to receive food is a little long. I love going for lunch during work, but always skip because it usually takes about 30 min to just get the order to the table. The last 2 times I have been, it wasn’t busy so that didn’t seem to be the reason. I do love the food, but service could be just a little quicker.

Very well put together coffee house. Good coffee, great staff, and comfortable atmosphere. This place is a little off the beaten path, but so well worth the visit. Visit once and you’ll become a regular. Coffee beans are roasted in house, so the coffee you get is definitely a grade above the rest. They also serve food, and spirits. Heard they have live music on set nights. Make sure to make your way down there.

This location of ARC is a great addition to the chain. It may not have the view that the Madisonville location has, but the food here is downright awesome. I stumbled upon this location one eafternoon when the restaurant I intended to try was unexpectedly closed. Knowing how much I love the other two locations, my oldest and I parked and went in. The restaurant is located in the older section of Covington, but the building appeared brand new. There was ample parking, outdoor seating and lots of space. The building is divided into two different sections. The first is a typical coffee shop, but the second is a full service restaurant. I’ve been three times and the food has always been excellent. Often a restaurant that serves both breakfast and lunch succeeds at one type of food and fails at the other. ARC does a great job with both. The burgers that I have tried had hand formed patties, were cooked perfectly and could be ranked among the best in St. Tammany. The breakfast omelettes are large, but have a great filling to egg ratio that is very important when making a great omelet. My one gripe is that the service is not consistent. On my first visit my server was phenomenal, the second visit was downright bad and the third was friendly, but left us somewhat abandoned. Considering that I had the same server on the first and third visit, I guess she was just having a bad day, but these inconsistencies are what prevents me from giving the full five stars. If you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot, look no further than this location of the Abita Roasting Company.

It’s our new«go to» spot for BRUNCH! We love their food The chicken and waffles were perfect. Light waffle with powered sugar and pecans. The chicken was fried to perfection. The biscuits and white gravy are the best we have had in Covington. The service is good. Our waitress was very patient and helpful since we had never been before. Her recommendations were exactly what we needed. They have an outside sitting area. You can bring your small pets and eat outside. They have a dog walking area directly across from the restaurant. Going to have to bring my baby next time

Food was good, albeit a little expensive. I got the Bayou omelet, and my husband a hambuger. Wait staff was mostly attentive. Ambiance was«eh.» Overall, a good experience, with the food being the strongest feature.

Excellent coffee at a reasonable price. Much better, in my opinion, than Starbucks or PJs. I like to taste coffee in my coffee, and this place meets my expectations. I love the new location as well.

This is an update. I was asked to reconsider my review, and I thought they deserved a second chance. I’m happy to report that the food was delicious as usual and the service did improve tremendously. Heather our server was great and we were greeted upon walking in. I hope that Abita roasting co. continues to improve their service, this is the breakfast place Covington has been looking for!

Had lunch in a hurry but my salad was incredible! I had the wild berry salad with shrimp. It was fresh and light with homemade dressing. Wonderful atmosphere too. Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice set up here! You can come in and sit in the coffee and pastry room or their full service dining area or get a to go order at the bar. And of course they have a drive through window you can use as well. The inside is neat and clean with some very cool local art on the walls. The coffee is tasty and the menu is full of flavored, iced and regular coffee. You can also grab a delicious pastry or cupcake to enjoy with your coffee or tea.

Of the many areas to which breakfast joints are located on the Northshore, this is of my top 3, and number one on terms of coffee. when you walk in it will just look like a coffee shop, do not let that fool you! It has both continental treats(bagels, croissants, pastries, etc.) and a full service breakfast and lunch menu from opening until 3 O’clock. I ordered the fried chicken/scrambled egg biscuit, with fluffy hashbrowns. My one, and only complaint is that the service is slow, but it just opened, so they must working out the kinks.

I am so happy this location opened! I usually go to the one in Madisonville because the coffee is amazing but now this location is within 2 miles of my home. They have a full menu with so many options. And they have a drive thru for that quick cup of coffee to go!!!
