Updated Review: So here’s the thing… I loved this place in the past because the donut burgers are amazing. The thing is, the service is going down hill dramatically it seems. The past few times we’ve gone, we’ve had to wait about 5 – 10 minutes just to even be greeted. The time before last we went, we stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes with nobody in front of us before even being acknowledged. Tonight, we waited about 5 minutes at the bar. As far our our order tonight, our fries were all over cooked and hard as a rock, and then, I ordered the donut burger, and it came with bacon… It’s NEVER come with bacon before and i don’t like bacon so I definitely didn’t order it. My roomate who was next to me, ordered a burger which came with bacon, he said it was over cooked and hard to bite into. My other friend ordered the exact same thing as me but his didn’t come with bacon. So neither of us ordered our food with it, but one of us got bacon. It feels as if there’s only 1 person back there cooking and he/she hates their job. Burnt fries, cold food, and EXTREMELY slow service. And let’s not forget about the disaster of a parking lot which is WAY too small. Say what you will, but everyone knows there aren’t enough spaces. My group of friends saw someone tonight have an accident while trying to leave the parking lot because they didn’t have enough room. The place also really needs a deep cleaning and a new coat of paint on the inside. It just feels dirty. Again, I hate saying this, because I’ve brought 10 or so people here just so they could try some of the«non-traditional» menu items. But after tonight, I just don’t know if I can suggest this place anymore. Need more examples of what I’m talking about as far as service and other issues? Read the reviews for Butter Krisp on Google itself. It’s not pretty.

Ummmmmmmm. I got 2 words De. Licious! Ok! In all seriousness the place is definitely a small neighborhood diner, not much to it but its the people that make the place not the other way around and I had such a great time with the people. The food was very tasty and veryyyy affordable and my table was clean upon approach. I would definitely return and reccomend!

To be fair, this place is known for their donuts. On my only visit I had the burger sliders which had tasted like the ones that can be purchased from the frozen section in a grocery store. The service was not very good either. Very slow to refill drinks. I will be back to just get donuts next time. I will update my review then.

Butter Krisp was always the bomb over the years. Unfortunately, the last few times I bought doughnuts, they had very little filling but they were huge. The croissants and burgers are still great though. Doughnuts have gone down hill, at least the crème filled kind.

Butter Krisp is a yummy little«greasy spoon» type of 50’s themed diner. They are open 24 hours, they have a drive thru, and they serve donuts, burgers, typical breakfast staples and lunch. We stopped in right before noon, but lucky us, they serve breakfast all day. I decided to get the two egg breakfast with bacon, toast and grits. The food came out perfectly cooked to perfection with crispy bacon and butter on the grits. Everything was so good, and while one might say«it’s hard to mess up eggs», you would be surprised. Adding to the entire experience was the delightful waitress who was really sweet and fast about getting us coffee refills. I love the décor here! As a fan of all things«retro» the Elvis statue and the jukebox definitely added to the fun vibe of the place. There are pictures of Elvis everywhere and the diner just has a really laid back and«good time» feel. I didn’t get to try the donuts this time, but if I am ever back in the area, I will be sure to pick some up.

Awesome place with an old school diner vibe. The«Butter Burgers» are slider style burgers and are highly addictive. I have also made many a late night run for hot donuts to satisfy pregnancy cravings. Sunday morning drive through can be challenging but it is worth the wait. They also have some of the best french fries I have had. All around old school ‘Murican food at fair prices with donuts and way more sprinkled on the menu.

Have made many trips for donuts but hadn’t eaten inside until last weekend. I finally got the guts to order the cheeseburger donut and grilled cheese donut. Strangely yummy. The waitress was slow but kept us contemt. I think the place needs a good scrubbing, though.

Honestly you go here for the hot glazed donuts served 24 hours. The food isn’t bad and definitely better than Waffle House. The other pastries are good but not great.

Another place suggested to us, since we’re new in town. We went through the drive-thru and ordered glazed doughnuts. When the girl at the window found out we were newbies, she gave us a complimentary blueberry cake doughnut! Yummy amd great customer service for our first visit.

The donuts were NOT worth the drive. The food was overly greasy. The whole place just had a layer of ew. And another guest kept complaining about the service. Though I didn’t expect much from the beginning.

The food here is delicious, and the prices are low! I had the eggs, bacon, french toast, and biscuits and gravy and it was all perfectly cooked. The service was quick and friendly. $ 20 check for two people, including my morning coffee-amazing! I will definitely be returning here. It’s the perfect way to start any morning!

Came in for breakfast in bulk for a local customer. The staff was awesome and incredibly friendly. Great ladies and had a great conversation. Order was ready in 5 minutes. Kinda wish I had more time to chat.

Butter Krisp has the best donuts in the area in my opinion. They have a wide variety and a lot of different ones that I would like to try. However, I always seem to go back to the same ones. The strawberry filled are fantastic as are the chocolate glazed, the honey buns(HUGE) and the all popular glazed donuts. The regular glazed donuts come hot which a lot of people like. I personally don’t so I just take mine home and let them sit a while. So good! I can’t say a lot for the lunch here. I’ve only tried it once. I wasn’t too impressed with the menu since basically all it offered was burgers, a chicken strip dinner and one or two other items that I can’t even remember as they did not appeal to me. I ended up getting the burger and fries which was nothing to write home about. As I looked around I saw a few other dinners advertised on the bar and different places, but for some reason none of them were on the menu which disappointed me because I had really wanted something besides a burger. I don’t know that I’ll be back for lunch but I’ll definitely be back for more donuts!

Great coffee of coffee and half a dozen fresh cooked donuts. Almost as good as Krispy Kreme.

This was my first time coming to Butter Krisp Diner. My friends and I was around the area hitting up Steak n’ Shake. A majority of us usually has a sweet tooth after our meals so we all hopped in the car and made our way here. First thing you notice is the case of donuts walking in. It was like heaven for me. Even though I normally eat glazed and donut holes. I picked out a chocolate stuffed bavarian donut. I was determined to eat it being I was a bit stuffed from dinner still. I wish there was more bavarian cream in it! It was pretty okay but would have been better if the filling was filled more and centered in the donut. My friend wanted me to try the glazed donut since they were hot and fresh. So I broke off a piece and he at the rest. It was scrumptious indeed. Wish I could have ate more that night but that’s okay I heated one up the next day and ate it. Still yummy as ever. You will notice a lot of Elvis Presley things in there and I’m okay with it! There’s definitely and old school feel and I love diners like this. I will be back because I spotted a donut burger and I’ve never had one before.

The place has great potential but falls short for the following reasons. 1. The staff have been there for a while and act as if it’s their first day. I truly believe they are acting dumb and can’t be as ignorant as they act. Some days they are friendly other days not so much. 2. The food quality is crap. I ordered two wraps this morning and they was barely any egg in them. The tomatoes were cut hugely along with the bell pepper and ham. All the pieces were so big it was ridiculous. I added jalapeños and they put these huge slices on there and so many it was not edible. The whole wrap was a sopping mess that when I got it to the office less than five min away it already leaked through the paper bag. 3. They do not know what’s on their own menu. None of the staff. And if you’d like to add or change something they look at you with a glaze in their eyes. They absolutely can’t comprehend a triple order of hash browns add onions. It’s beyond anyone working there. 4. The two owners seem to be on top of things there when they are there. When the cats away the nice will play. That’s when it really goes to shit.(Like this morning) I really believe they have great potential but unless your going for the donuts and great coffee I’d stay away from the subpar food and lack of pride in preparing it.
