First time customer. I am a cupcake CRAZY gal! Just moved here from out of state and was excited to find a cupcake place so close to my new home. Boy, I was so disappointed. I purchased 6 Cupcakes. They have no original aspects or fun fillings. All 6 of mine were dry and boring. Big heap of frosting — and if it was yummy it might make up for the bland cake. I went on a Sat so you’d think that they’d be fresh and a good selection. I asked about gluten free options — dare I even try now? I’ll pass. I prefer to support small ownership organizations but can’t do it here. Sorry gals.

My son ordered a Birthday cupcake and enjoyed it. I got a toasted coconut which was moist and good; but the girl that waited on was not mean but not friendly. When you pay 3 dollars for a cupcake the least a person can do is smile and have a good attitude. But, the cupcake was good and I do bake from scratch soo I can prepare my own definitely for the price I paid for 2.

There is something about a fresh cupcake that I just can’t pass up, and boy did Cupcake Concept fill my craving! The flavors all sounded great but I ended up settling on one of their specials, Salted Caramel. WOW. The blend of the sweet caramel and savory salt was spot on. I took home a box of various other flavors, all of which equally as fabulous. I can’t wait for a return trip to see what other flavors I may have missed.

I had to sign up for Unilocal just to write this review. If you are looking for a yummy treat to pick up for the house or office then DONOTGOHERE. Anyone with a oven can make the normal size plain tasting cupcakes they have. I really hate to say it but those cupcakes were plain tasting and the frosting was gross, just normal batter with a different top on each and some fancy name for each:(PRICESTOOHIGH! I bought a half dozen for $ 17.95 and at $ 2.97 a piece it is not worth a normal cupcake. I was sooo disappointed and felt like I was ripped off. There suppose to have«fresh» fruit in some depending on which on you choose but that seemed like a joke once I ate one. Trust me go make your own cupcake and I promise it will taste better. Nothing Special at all and I’m really disappointed in this place. Also you don’t receive any receipt so be sure to remember when doing your check book.

What an awesome gem hidden right in plain sight! Not much to look at when you first walk in, but this place really comes through where it counts… their cupcakes are fantastic! Moist, great frosting. The creole cream cheese was my favorite. Good Café Rani coffee, too. They have some cool catering options, like mini cupcakes. I love supporting small businesses, especially when it’s so delicious. Will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon Cupcake Concept while in Covington. When you walk in, you would think that it would smell yummy, but weirdly enough, it doesn’t. The Display of cupcakes is pretty small, but we bought a half dozen to try. When we brought them home and tried them and were pleasantly surprised. The cake was a medium density and was moist. The frosting was creamy and very complimentary to the cake. $ 2.95 per cupcake. We had: Wedding Cake, Red Velvet, Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Cupcake with Creole Cream Cheese, Chocolate Kiss(my favorite), and Coconut. Check out their website for the everyday flavors and rotating flavors. Looks like they do special orders including for weddings and showers. This place isn’t Sprinkles, but it’s not bad…
