Nonna Randazzo’s Italian Bakery

I ordered a birthday cake (white with pineapple filling) and it was delicious. Very fresh. I was especially impressed with the customer service when I placed the order. I think her name is Denise… she was extremely helpful and made suggestions on the size of cake for the number of people, etc. I was originally going to order at Mandeville bake shop but the cake was great and the customer service has me hooked.

This is an awesome bakery. King cakes are always fresh and delicious. The staff members are always friendly and helpful every time I visit. I really love this place !!!

Very dissatisfied. Ordered a large king cake filled with pecans and cream cheese. Instead the fillings were just layered on top of the cake. There was very little of the so-​called fillings which were actually toppings. I will never purchase a king cake from this bakery again. Honestly we feel like we got ripped off for the price we paid.

Having moved to LA just 7 months ago, we are making it our mission to try all of the most popular king cakes. Today we tried Nonna’s pecan praline cream cheese, and it was delicious! Not sure if any others will stack up!

Got a variety king cake which had all there flavors. Was told king cake was stuffed meaning inside the bread. King cake wasn’t stuffed with filling just layered on top. They have the name but not the king cake paid 24 dollars for it also.

My mother in law purchased a red velvet cake from here for my birthday, I was extremely excited. The cake was beautiful and moist when sliced. Buyer beware if you love traditional red velvet this cake is not it. The cake has a heavy taste of alcohol, not red velvet. By our best guess the cake’s icing is mixed with Drambuie which is not traditional. To be completely clear the cake looks amazing, is moist and if you are not a big fan of traditional red velvet is a great cake. My wife is not a fan of red velvet and loved the cake because it tasted very little like red velvet.

We recently moved from L.A. to LA right after we got engaged and noticed that Nonna’s was right across the street from us. As we started planning our wedding, we went to Nonna’s for a cake tasting and it was a wonderful experience! Patty was very sweet and helped us with our decisions! The cake was a sugary delight and the fillings were interesting and delicious. We ended up going with the almond cake with a strawberry filling and it was absolutely wonderful. Also, the cost was very affordable for a 60 guest wedding. Our design was very simple, just some textured icing on a three tiered cake. The day of the wedding, the cake arrived perfect and it looked just lovely. I was really very happy and so elated that we decided to go with Nonna’s for our wedding day. Two more positive things to say about Nonna’s…
Placed an order for two king cakes to be shipped to New York. Both were received and thoroughly enjoyed by the recipients.
Stopped by Nonna’s today (day before thanksgiving) to pick up a few things for my mom’s thanksgiving day dinner. The place was pretty crowded, but they had enough staff working to make sure the customers were promptly taken care of. My mom ordered 8 large chocolate eclairs & a pecan pie.
We’ve always gotten our special occasion sweet stuff from here and have never been disappointed! I’ve ordered several king cakes to be shipped & all was great with that also.
Nonna’s is definitely our one stop shop for desserts… gotta try them if you haven’t already !

Based on good alone ! Not even for the precious items they have for sale there. Very cute stuff there, I would have bought a bunch of stuff for my house but I came with a carry on .
I stopped in here to get items to take to the client I was here training. I picked up on the way back to Nola because the clients raved about how yummy it was .
My husband came with me this trip and he agreed everything I brought back to sample was delish !

I only come here for the King Cakes cause they are the absolute best ever!!! These are the pros, everyone else are elementary compared to them!

This is an awesome bakery! I placed a wedding cake order long distance and the cake was really nice. Everyone loved it. It was exactly what I ordered. Most of all, I was really impressed by Lauren. I felt like she went the extra mile to accommodate the limitations of my being long distance. I recommend this bakery and will always use them for any of my families functions.

This is a great bakery and they have made the interior like a nice European coffee shop.
The important thing, though, is that the baked goods are amazing. Yeah, they make excellent king cakes but I had an apple fritter this morning that was quite delicious. The coffee is very good as well.
