Breakfast at the Marriott breakfast bar is awesome. Great service people that have been there for more than 2 years — or at least that’s how long I’ve seen them there. Pleasant atmosphere and great service — yes, for a breakfast buffet. The cook will deliver your eggs just how you like them, or simply get the plentiful scrambled eggs off the buffet. Two types of sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, and plenty of fruit and bagels and toast. Treat yourself any morning, but especially on the weekends — that’s when I go. I don’t remember how I started coming here, but it’s just a good habit now!

Located in the lobby of the Courtyard Hotel, this restaurant was surprisingly good. I am not a fan of buffets. Upon walking in and seeing this was a buffet, I nearly walked out. After trying the food, I am glad I didn’t. At $ 10.95 for adults, it was well worth it. The buffet had scrambled eggs, home-style potatoes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, fruit, cereal and a waffle station. Everything that was on the buffet was fresh, and very good. The scrambled eggs were excellent and possibly the best I have ever had on a buffet. The waffle station was unique. There is a waffle iron and batter dispenser where you actually make your own waffles. The iron has a timer and is relatively foolproof. Pout the batter, turn the iron upside down and three minutes later you have a perfect fleur de lis waffle. Besides the buffet items, you can also get eggs to order, including omelets. Service was very good, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was on vacation. If you want a change from the traditional breakfast places, I encourage you to try the Courtyard Café.
