In the area for work and stopped by since it’s one of the only places to eat.
Food was great and really well cooked. Other reviewers mentioned that they use an electric smoker and therefore lacked some of flavor depth you get with fire. Looking back I can completely agree with this, but the food is still fantastic.
Tea refills were rapid and the staff was extremely nice. I would make another visit since it’s quick, good, and cheap.

The BBQ is decent enough especially considering they use an electric cooker. I will say that the lack of smoke in the air and in their meats certainly cost them points.

It was pickers night at Cowboy’s and we had a wonderful night of GOOD food and great music and fellowship. Our friends provided the following: We had so much fun with yall tonight. It feels so good to reconnect with friends. Just so comfortable. The music and food were great and the company was even better.

Fried pickles are good. Entertainment on Saturdays is awesome. Beware though — I was really mad too find out the tips go to the owners and not the wait staff. So my $ 20 tip that was supposed to go to my excellent waitress never got to her. I feel ripped off

After seeing this place so busy for so long I figured we should give it a try. This was the worst food decision I have ever made. My sister’s bf got the pulled pork and got food poisoning. I got a box of the worst tasting ribs I have ever eaten in my life. It was way to bitter and I just had to toss them in the trash.
So after this review has been up for months the owner has decided to harass me instead of trying to make it right. I am contacting Unilocal to let them know and I have screenshots of your nonsense. So keep it up laughing boy.

My brother and his wife live out in Covington, so we’ll hit up Cowboys for family occasions.
My wife and I love the pulled pork and the brisket. Good banana pudding, as well.
Pickers’ Circle some Saturdays can make it a little hard to have a conversation, but that’s what the front dining room is for.
