The Monday mac n cheese deal is one of the few reaaons to go. Half price mac n cheese with the purchase of a drink. I’m a fan of the powerhouse and the Buffalo chicken. Their loaded chips appetizer is realllllly good(half price during happy hour) I’ve also had their brunch before, the breakfast burrito is good, not great, but they always forget the sauce that goes with it. One another complaint with brunch, everytime I get a coffee, they bring cream, but never a spoon. I’ve had brunch here 5+ times and I think I’ve gotten a spoon once.(This occurs at both the covington and hyde park location) The whole table is sitting there stirring their coffee with a knife. Just an oversight that is constantly made. One really regrettable episode was when my girlfriend found a rubber piece in her brunch skillet meal, they comped her meal and were apologetic, but it seemed kinda ridiculous. Errors are made, I get it, but that’ll ruin your appetite and view of a restaurant quickly.

Great food, fun atmosphere. We had a mimosa pitcher, pancakes, and the Goetta gravy with biscuits. Awesome! Downside was that I was not told we would be charged for refills on juice for my kiddo, $ 4 for two small cups. Just something you would assume they would mention. The sun was blinding, and hit basically every table in there, with the shade not able to be pulled down to help, this was a little annoying. Overall, I would go back, try something new, and go a little later to beat the Rays.

Came here before a concert due to the excellent Unilocal reviews. Thoughts going in: how could I go wrong with gourmet Mac n cheese? I actually had to wait several days before writing this because I was in a food coma from how good the BBQ Mac n Cheese was. Simple menu, awesome small restaurant vibes. We got there on a Friday night at 7 and we’re seated right away. Nice selection of craft beers as well. Highly recommended.

Really like this place had the Green Day mac and cheese super delicious! Now waiting on our Burger, it’s good but wasn’t medium like we asked. We ordered the Keystone burger, has a good spicy kick. By far mac and cheese was the best. Also, nice friendly place!

Theres a lot to love about keystone. Great beer & half off mack & cheese on Mondays. The BB King is the best in my opinion. They have outdoor seating and the staff is very attentive. Its just a few minutes of walking from where I live and its a great spot. If you haven’t been you gotta go.

We’ve been here several times and each time we get the Mac and cheese! Their Mac and cheese dishes are very good! I enjoy the beer selection here as well. I would also recommend the poutin! It is very good! I enjoy their outside seating especially during nice weather!

love coming to this place during the lunch and sitting outside the patio. This place is known for their mac and cheese, but today I had ordered the vegetarian quesadillas. very very delicious. The atmosphere is great, a lot of people from area businesses come and eat and sit outside the patio for lunch. on Mondays and Wednesdays they have half price on certain foods which is pretty good.

I came here on a Saturday night. The server was very attentive and the space was accommodating for our large group. I enjoyed the cookie sundae and a few beers, as I had already had dinner– it was delicious. I typically get the Buffalo Mac n Cheese which is amazing!

Stopped in here for brunch with some friends. We had eaten early so it basically turned into me trying their drinks. We had some of the mimosas. They were okay. They had a variety of fruit options. I tried peach, strawberry, and mango. I found they all were rather weak on the alcohol and rather bland in taste. Our friends had some bloody maries and seemed to enjoy them more than my choices. They liked the food but I can’t write on that since I didn’t try anything.

I came to this establishment during a visit from Georgia. My friend with me coached last year’s Bengals first round pick and he invited us out for a game. One of my wife’s friends from law school informed us of certain«race irregularities» in Cincinnati and we were fortunate, or unfortunate, enough to experience this atmosphere. We came in and were the only African Americans in this establishment and the establishment across the street. Now we know why. There were several tables who came in after us and received their food. As a matter of fact, pretty much everyone who came in after us received their food before us. After the establishment was almost empty we STILL had not received our food. At that point we asked for the check. The manager came out and offered to give us our food for free(thank you, sir), but at that point we were fed up. Now to place this in context, my friend is a football coach and a firefighter. His wife is a math instructor. My wife is an attorney, and I am a former army officer where I served as a platoon leader in Iraq as well as a US Army engineer liaison to Russia. Amongst a variety of other assignments with the 82nd airborne. I also have two bachelors degrees and three masters. In other words, we are not ghetto, nor do we give off that energy or appearance. But SOMETHING about our appearance didn’t get us our food… As we were leaving, two older couples expressed awareness of what happened and apologized. And they were customers as well. This establishment appears to cater to a particular clientele, irregardless of the color of your money. Other colors seem to take precedence. What’s crazy is we came from the south to experience«old southern«behavior… Shame on Keystone!

I went here with a couple of coworkers for dinner and a drink during an event we were attending. We were looking for a fun, local dive spot with great food and we found exactly that! We chose to sit inside although the place does have a nice patio as well! The place has a good local feel with a lot of history inside the building and cool décor. The brews were good and food was even better. I had the black bean burrito, which was huge and much larger than I expected, and my coworkers each had sandwiches/burgers which they both loved. Service was good, but not anything overly hospitable, our server could certainly have been a little friendlier/attentive, which would have led me to rate a 5! But overall, a great experience.

The question I keep asking myself is, «are you really going to give macaroni and cheese and a chocolate chip cookie 5 stars?» We can all cook those at home on our own right? Maybe it was the right food at the right time but I really loved my dinner here. I had the B. BKing which is barbecue chicken, bacon and mac and cheese in such a large portion that it makes two meals. After nearly exploding I decided to test the elasticity of my stomach by getting the chocolate chip cookie. The massive chocolate chip cookie is served in a skillet with ice cream and caramel on top. It’s amazing. It’s the kind of dessert that will cause you to involuntarily make sounds like ‚“mmmm” and«ohhhhh». My wife and I nearly fought each other over it. It’s the day after and I want to go back for more although poutine is probably next on the list to try here. If you’re depressed and attempting to eat your sadness away, it might actually be possible here. Parking was close and plentiful. The service was great. Kids will probably eat great here. My wife said her black bean burrito was just okay.

Its not often that I give five stars, but these guys get all five of them. Really cool seating on the sidewalk for dinner on a beautiful early fall evening. The buffalo bites were out of this world, the breading they use on the chicken and the actual chicken was fresh. Had the BBKing and it was done perfectly, very tasty and I like the sweetness of the BBQ with the Mac and Cheese. Drinks were done well, told our server that the bartender has carte blanche to make something and ended up with a cherry sprite kind of drink — was awesome. Definitely recommend this place, glad we found it.

I really want to be able to give this place a higher rating when I give them a second try. Perhaps dinner is a better time to go. I’ll just give the run down of my first experience here. So I went today for Sunday brunch and arrived around 11:30 with a group of girls. We ordered a $ 14 mimosa pitcher which was a good deal and were able to split it. We received the wrong flavor, but whatever. Our waitress soon informed us that that kitchen was running a bit slow and that our meal might take about 30 minutes to be ready, which was totally fine considering it was a Sunday brunch! 30 minutes goes by… then another 30… and then another. Since most breakfast items such as eggs don’t take long to make, we were getting considerably restless waiting for our food. The restaurant wasn’t even that full at this point. When the food did arrive, I had ordered a «morning Mac» Mac n cheese since that is what they are known for. It was good, Mac n cheese with goetta, onions, and I substituted a scrambled egg on top. However, the top(egg part) was cold. So that makes me wonder why it took our food an hour and a half to get to our table. anyways, before we even mentioned our disappointment to our waitress(who was super friendly, the kitchen is not her fault) she told us the food was on the house but we would still have to pay for our mimosas. Fair enough. I did love the atmosphere, the music they were playing, and the crowd. Hopefully we caught them on a bad day but really, what in the world was going on in the kitchen that took almost 2 hours for us to get some food? We didn’t get an explanation.

Came in for lunch and the food, atmosphere and service were great! I had the Keystone Burger with fries and my boyfriend had the Chicken Quesadilla. Sara was our server and did a fantastic job. We loved it so much that here we are again today trying the brunch. Original Mimosa and Keystone Bloody Mary are a hit!

Keystone has been a solid favorite of mine for years now. Its good for brunch on the weekends as well. They have really good bloody marys. The last time I went in for brunch, I had the burrito and it was really good. Their mac n cheese menu is fab and their quesadilla menu is solid. All in all its a good place to eat and socialize. They have great outdoor seating when the weather is nice and they allow dogs out there.

Keystone was one of the first restaurants I started frequenting when I moved to Covington 5 years ago. It will always have a spot in my heart. The patio is fantastic. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The brunch is a must have. Some favorites are the Inn The Wood potato crisp, BB King Mac, BBQ quesadilla and of course the chips.

This is such a fun place for food and drinks any day of the week! I’ll give this review for Sunday Brunch, since that was my most recent experience. One star for the service– my server was super friendly and offered great suggestions off the menu. Two stars for the food– I ordered the veggie potato crisp which was basically hash browns with cheese and veggies. It was quite tasty! Three stars for ambiance– we sat inside because it was quite muggy out but customers inside and out really seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bar was full and so was each table but the place wasn’t overwhelmingly packed. Four stars for the $ 14 mimosa pitchers– I’ll be honest, this was the only reason why my friend and I chose Keystone for brunch. I heard they had a killer deal on mimosa pitchers so of course, I had to check them out! We ordered the peach mimosa pitcher and split it between the two of us. I would really love to give Keystone that 5th star but I just can’t due to their sucky parking situation. Yes, I understand that it’s located in Hyde Park, where the parking situation isn’t great to begin with, but the parking was so bad at Keystone that we actually considered leaving to go somewhere else but we were way too enticed by the $ 14 mimosa pitchers!

Don’t bother. The food is good sometimes but not worth the headache of dealing with this place.
