The food was barely warm, the restaurant was dirty and the staff was loud and obnoxious. When you sit down after placing your order, a patron should not have to wipe down his own table because it is so dirty. My burrito was luke warm and when I requested it be heated up a bit more, I was offered quite the attitude by one of the employees. When I sat to eat my meal, the atmosphere closely resembled that of a McDonald’s indoor playground or Monkey Joe’s as a couple of the employees were horsing around and being quite obnoxious. Cilantro is but a small step ahead of Taco Bell and many, many steps behind Chipotle.

Really good Mexican food absolutely, all the food seems very fresh and delicious. I could definitely always come to this place and have a great meal. Really really good!

My fiancé and I here used to come here a lot, and while the food is good, we agree with the Unilocaler below who mentioned that the place has turned into a ghost town. The bar is no more and we were also alarmed to see that there was no more TVs for our viewing pleasure. Since it hasn’t been that busy the last few times we went, it makes it really awkward to sit in silence. Anywho, I like it here. It’s quick and affordable, but everytime I go I wonder if they’re closing because the walls continue to get more and more bare. Anyone know if that’s true?

Mediocre Chipotle. Go to Chipotle instead. I went here because the parking lot in Garden City was nuts for Christmas and I gave up. I learned a solid lesson. Never give up on your burrito dreams.

Went here today because I purchased a Groupon. WHAT A MISTAKE! I had $ 20 from the Groupon to spend. I went over by .76 cents. I go to pay with my debit card, then the older woman stopped the cashier telling me it won’t go through. That what I owe is so little I had NOCASH I explained, she even had the nerve to ask my wife for money. Very careless. Luckily a customer offered to lend me 76 cents! Because my debit card is «no good». The food was okay. Really okay. The salsa is very bland, chicken has no flavor. Tortilla seemed very dry. People will write big portions given, but very skimpy from what I’ve seen. Overall this place seems like it’s on its last hope till it closes. It was a ghost town at lunch, the bar was taken out with no alcohol sales, as well as all televisions removed forcing me to listen to old rock music. There is a Chipotle & Qdoba located less than a mile away! SAVEYOURMONEY. It really is true you do get what you pay for. Overall thanks so much for pretty much forcing another customer to pay the rest of my meal because my «debit card» is no good

Recycle, recycle, recycle! There’s no excuse in 2015 for recyclable glass and plastic bottles to go into the landfill. Otherwise, the food is great, service is friendly, and the space is clean; but I won’t return until you offer recycling.

I love this place! They don’t skimp on the servings, there is a huge selection of meats to choose from that are always fresh(unlike some other place I know) and the employees are always friendly and accommodating. I love their huge burritos and sometimes I order the bowl which is also huge! The décor is nice too. A word to the owners — fix your unlit sign out front because I recommended you to several people and they ALL commented on how they drove right past you! Plus you need to do something to make your restaurant more desirable to come in! I love this place and hate it when everyone brags about Chipotle. The food at Cilantro is far better and fresher, plus it is a local company and not a huge franchise. They make everything fresh in their own kitchen, not shipped in from who knows where. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered delivery from Cilantro this evening. The driver was on time but he was very unpleasant. I tipped him 30% yet I didn’t even get a thank you! It’s bad enough that I was charged $ 29.87 for 3 tacos and a quesadilla and a $ 320oz bottle of soda!!! The beef tacos I ordered were freezing cold and the quesadillas were mushy. I took a few bites and threw the rest in the fridge. Suddenly I’m no longer hungry. I kindly asked for guacamole on the side. But they put it directly on both the tacos and the quesadillas. The guacamole was pretty gross. It was browning. I’m sorry but I’ve had better food at Taco Bell. And they are MUCH cheaper. If I wanted to pay higher prices I’d go to poco loco and at least get GOOD food. Not slop that probably wouldn’t even pass in prison. And I have to laugh at the box that the quesadilla comes in… An inside out pizza box. Like really people??? I won’t be back!

Cilantro is excellent. I was using Unilocal to drive to another Mexican joint that had a higher rating, then I noticed Cilantro and decided to stop. It’s crazy because the curb appeal is absolutely horrible, however once you walk in the door the place looks like a very nice chain, with great marketing. The process of ordering is very similar to the other big guys but they have many more protein choices. Regular grilled, buffalo and bbq chicken are all choices… really!?? They will actually squeeze a lime or two on your burrito and then mix up all the ingredients before rolling! Nicely done. Will definitely be back!

I am a convert from Chipotle and Qdoba. I enjoy the variety in meat choices. BBQ pork burrito is my favorite. Forget the chains come support a local.

4 stars and growing on me, Great outdoor pet friendly patio, great people, great prices. Flat screen TV, beer on tap, and small bar. The main difference between this is chipolte is the spices, I find cilantro to be bland compared to chipolte, in a good way though.

Great restaurant! It’s great for takeout! Good for kids. They have a pet friendly patio and they have flat panels in the restaurant there are two at the bar and one when you walk in to your right. They have Aton of options there are different chickens and meats. They have whole wheat, flour, spinach, and roared tomato wraps mmmmmm so good!

I actually prefer cilantro to chipotle because the portion sizes are larger and I like fresh squeezed lime and cilantro in my burrito. Anddd they carry cholula hot sauce which is my absolute favorite. The staff was really polite and welcoming. My only complaint is that the steam table always seems to look like a sloppy mess no matter what cilantro your at. Prices are decent.

My husband and I went here one warm summer evening in August. We each had a veggie bowl, with brown rice. The flavor was not there for some reason, we expected to taste fresh Cilantro(like the name implies) but for some reason we tasted alot of salt. Even the guacamole was not at all as flavorful as we had expected. The main reason we do not think we will go back is because the staff there(a male and a female) each said that they were never trained in how much of each ingredient goes into a bowl. I am carefully watching my diet, and if their website claims there are so many calories in certain menu items, I expect the staff to know how much rice is a serving — or how much guacamole I should get. Instead they said they will put on as much or as little as the customers tell them. Wow — if someone wants double or triple guacamole — these people would give it to them at no extra charge? The outdoor patio was nice enough, but I will not eat what I cannot account for while losing weight. I have a feeling they were trained, but probably didn’t remember. I hope so, anyway.

Service is god awful… The girl behind the counter complained the whole time I was ordering, annoying. Food is just blah. Low grade chicken/steak, and nothing has flavor. The queso cheese looks curdled! I’ll never be back… you should hop over to Chipotle across the street…

I’ll stick with Chipotle… I’ve tried eating in and take-out. I was not impressed with my selections either time. However, the dining room is large, airy and clean… much more dine-in friendly than Chipotle.

Went here with a groupon and I have no regrets. Delicious. Now let’s not forget, this is not real Mexican, but it was quite tasty. My dining companion and I both had the belly bowl. Which is everything in a burrito without the the tortilla. The guac was extra. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Would def recommend.
