I’m really happy we found this new and cozy ecuadorian gem. The food was good, service was very friendly and attentive. The owner is very hands on and she makes you feel at home. For starters we ordered some appetizers. I had the Bolon De Verde(plantain with pork skin). It was basically mashed plantains formed into a log with bits of crispy thick cut pork. We also ordered sweet plantains with fried cheese. I couldn’t have enough of the cheese. For my entrée I ordered the Churrasco(see pictures). It came with fries, rice, beans and an over easy egg. It was so delish! The servings were generous(enough for two people, easily) and with the apps it was definitely a great meal. Under $ 40 with tip. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. Yum!

I’ve only eaten here once, and that was by myself, so I didn’t get to try much. This is an Ecuadorean restaurant that is trying very hard. I had the steak churrasco, which came with a terrific home made chicken soup, some of the best plaintains I’ve ever had, good fries and rice. The steak was herbed and marinated, then grilled and served with a fried egg and sauteed onioins and peppers. At dinner, they make a peanut butter and plaintain sauce to go with shrimp or fish for dinner — which sounded really good but wasn’t available when I was there for lunch. Cloth table cloths — nice. Very clean. I will definitely try it again. The menu is more interesting for dinner than for lunch.
