Absolutely horrendous service. The woman who sat us down was rude from the start. They couldn’t accommodate 5 people and told our party to split up. I will be reporting this business to the BBB. I’ve never felt so disrespected by a restaurant before. We ended up leaving before even eating our breakfast.

Good food. Good service. Clean bathroom. Good parking. Owner introduced herself. Can’t get much better than that.

Was visiting friends in Providence, and we were looking for a nice brunch place, but the fancy places in town were packed with 45 minute waits. We checked Unilocal and drove a bit further to see what Eddie’s was all about.
Outside, it was fairly unassuming in a little strip mall type building. Inside, the décor is standard diner. The prices were low (you can get a breakfast sandwich for $ 3) and there were LOTS of choices. This made me happy. I ordered two eggs over medium with corn beef hash. The eggs were done PERFECTLY, as were all my friends’, and the corn beef hash was also lovely. My husband ordered the monster omelette because he is absurd — this omelette was SERIOUS, as big as an entire loaf of bread, and perfectly cooked despite its size.
Our server joked with us about the monster omelette for the whole meal and was totally pleasant. It’s clear their staff stick around — our server had been there for over a year and recognized us as newcomers to the diner. Service was incredibly friendly and we all had a great time. Wish there was a diner like this in my hometown — so hard to find a place that always cooks your eggs right for a low price. That monster omelette also was worth the trip by itself. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious! I had the sausage and biscuits and my friend had the pancakes. The service was friendly, however it took a little long to get out check. But that was the only con to our visit.

I was on a quest searching for a new delicious breakfast joint near me in Cranston. I found Eddie’s was merely 3 miles away, perfect. The food here is phenomenal, the portions are huge and the people are lovely.
I got the hash Benedict and it is one of the best I’ve ever had. This is my go to breakfast meal at any new restaurant I visit. I could live off of the home fries. It’s the true test of a diner in my book. They have a good exterior crunch with soft mashed potatoey goodness inside. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. The hash is homemade and absolutely addicting. The portion was so large I only got through half my meal. I love leftovers! The only thing I would change is the coffee. I like mine strong but it was very tasty anyways.
The atmosphere was great, a real townie diner where everyone is greeted by name. The owner/​waitress was super hospitable and made us feel right at home. She introduced herself (Paula) and was a real pleasure. Great little place I will be back to.

Wow! All I can say is this place is such a great find! Best breakfast around for a great price! The best pancakes around BY FAR! Great service, family owned, huge delicious portions and the place is spotless… what more could you ask for? I will certainly be coming back to Eddie’s!

Great place! Best chocolate chip pancakes ever! My husband and I had the regular combos. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. This place is a hidden gem and we will be frequenting it more often.

Eddy’s Diner is the best! This is a family run business. It is clean and neat! They work hard. The service is great. The food is amazing from breakfast to hot wieners and SEAFOOD Fridays!
People call on Thursday to put their order in for fish and chips for Friday. It is the best fish, it is Not greasy! 2 people can easily eat one order!!! They have chowder, clamcakes, whole belly clams, scallops, shrimp and cole slaw! You have to check Eddie’s out!
You will think your Ma’ma is in the kitchen!

Glad to see another great breakfast place in Cranston! After seeing all the positive Unilocal reviews over the last few months, the wife and I finally had a chance to give it a try. Very glad we did! She had the Texas French toast, and I had a cheese omelet. I didn’t dare try the monster one, the regular one was very large, and I took some of it home! The food came out fast, and the service was prompt and coffee was frequently refilled.
The prices don’t break the bank either. I think the same meal at T’s down the road would easily be a few bucks more. While the restaurant wasn’t that crowded, it appeared there were quite a few regulars there. Kind of like an «Everybody knows your name» kind of place! I will return again for breakfast, and would like to try some of their seafood specials on Friday that look very good.

Hidden Gem! After reading the Unilocal reviews I decided to give this a shot. I ordered 2 eggs medium with corn beef hash, homefries and toast. Breakfast is hard to mess up– the homefries were cooked well (not burnt though) and the corn beef hash was fresh. Everything is plated nice on what most would use as a serving dish for an appetizer. More then generous portions (the marchetti’s of breakfast!) and great service. On Friday nights they have an Italian menu and seafood menu that I will be back to try– the portions look very generous. They are coming up on one year of being open so go visit them already.

Excellent food and huge portion sizes. The staff was very friendly. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you, very clean inside.

Well worth your $$$ HUGE portion leftovers for the next day! Seafood dinner specials on FRIDAYS! Not your typical breakfast diner, and everyone is so friendly. Food is also yummy!

Had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and got this massive dish. It was plated impressively and it was super tasty. I will definotely return and refer this place. The service was excellent.

Food at Eddie’s is always good, we go every Sunday. You always get your money worth. It is the working family breakfast.

Ate there today for the first time. My teenage daughter raved that they served the best pancakes she ever had!
