The C.H.O.P is a slice of delight within a bustling scene of active tax paying citizens. The restaurant contains a mini bar and a multiple of TV’s for game day. There is also a claw machine for children or families looking to dine in. Most importantly is the service combined with insurance of quality food at a decent price. The pizza is not the only treat amongst the menu and the calzones are quite variable. You’ll find the delivery to be speedy, pending weather conditions, regardless your food remains HOT. Much goes into the thought of each order along with the particular needs of every customer. After all we are all different. So take the time to try this newer site, perhaps you’ll discover that perfect meal with a deal.

Pizza was smaller than expected but still excellent. Great crust, very clean atmosphere. Nice bar to sit at with flat screen while waiting for food. high top rabies and booth… Plenty of parking. Convenient. Liquor store across the street if u need booze on the way home… Price? A bit high but food is expensive anyway! Would recommend

I have been a long time customer, but last week was my first time ordering since the new ownership took over. We ordered a large square pizza with bacon well done for delivery. It was quoted about 35 minutes for delivery and it arrived about 45 minutes later. Not much appears to have changed, and that’s a good thing. The toppings are plentiful, and everything was cooked to perfection. I will order again and see if the other items are as good. The prices can be a little on the high side, but the quality is better than the national chains.

I just have to give this place a great review! It is SOMUCHMORE than a pizza place. Daily specials are of great dining quality and deserts are to die for! It’s a great location for parties too! Great food from apps — deserts and they have a bar too! Give them a try — you WILLNOT be disappointed !!!

After a 2nd visit I feel a review is in order, the first time I just ordered a sausage pizza to pick up and the pizza was good, I am not a super foodie that criticizes every detail of a place. I look for a clean place, friendly staff, and food I like and know that would be hard if not impossible to duplicate on my own… than compile that with the value it costs. The pizza was good and I knew I would consistently go back in the rotation of other pizza places I go to. The interior was very nice and I planned on going back to dine in which I did today. The pasta was good with good garlic bread, the buffalo wings I enjoyed along with the garlic Parmesan wings too. Brought another pizza home that was great but what blew my socks off was the cupcake my wife got to bring home… Being from California around dozens of gimmicky cupcake places that all have won a cupcake war while on the food network… This places cupcake was by a huge margin way better than any of them… Completely unexpected… Very very good… So they may not be a 5 star to foodies, I was very happy and the rank for a solid«I’ll be back» 5 star from me… Very clean well kept establishment that put out good food at good value in a very pleasant environment… Tasty pizza, not super duper but good wings and a talent at making desserts that will blow many of the Hollywood cupcake places away… I will be going back for a consistent good meal and exciting sweet treat afterward…

Awesome pizza!!! Probably the best I’ve had from Cranston. The veggie pizza comes topped with eggplant, peppers, onions, olives and tomatoes. It is literally mouthwatering!!! The cheese pizza is so cheesy! The crust is thick and the sauce is just the right flavor. We usually do a half veggie and half cheese in a large for 3 people and there is never anything left the next day. The only stipulation is that you do wait longer for delivery. The first time we ordered it took an hour and twenty minutes. This past time it was fifty minutes. Is the wait worth it, abso-freaking-lutly!!! Just plan accordingly when you know you’re ordering! Lolol

I admit it… I’m addicted to delivery food! When I find out that a restaurant in my area offers delivery service, they instantly earn a spot in my contact list. Thus Ive been eating food from Cranston House of Pizza for well over 15 years(I think they used to be called The Hot Stop before 2000). The new owners seem like diligent, courteous people, but to my taste they’ve changed things for the worse. The former CHOP’s french fries were among the best I ever had. Ditto for the chicken fingers, and hot Italian grinders. The new CHOP uses different products, not BAD necessarily, but different and I personally preferred the former version. For example they use a different brand of grinder rolls, which changed the overall flavor a lot(I think they used to use Calisi rolls but dont hold me to it). On a positive note, their dessert selection is new and excellent. No complains on that front! In short, they’re new, the jury is still out, but I will continue to frequent them.

I havent been here for 10 years. The only thing that seemed to change was the pizza sauce. Wasn’t to crazy about it. It had to much oregano or other spices. Other than that the pizza was good. Good amount of toppings and the cheese mix is really good. Crust is average. Overall the pizza would be fantastic with a different sauce.

I am a big believer in supporting local businesses. After a fun night at a local school function for 6th graders in Cranston, we went to CHOP for some pizza– there was 10 of us: 4 moms and 6 kids. I was confused as I was told by the woman behind the counter that they would be unable to accommodate us since there were at least 5 open tables with more than enough seats to fit us. As I probed further as to why they were turning us away, I was told the reason they would not allow us to eat there was they did not want the kids there! WHAT? I could not believe the stupidity of these people to, #1: turn away business, and #2: be so outright discriminatory as to who they preferred to serve in their establishment! Is this even legal!!! Well, you can bet we will NEVER eat or order from Cranston House of Pizza again, and I will make sure every chance I get, I will tell everyone I know to boycott this local business.

While visiting RI my mom asked me to pick up two pizzas she had ordered from CHOP. One had several vegetables and the other had a mixture of meats with onions. I arrived and was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. Having lived in Brooklyn for 10 years I have high expectations for pizza and low expectations for pizza places décor. The pizza was ready right on time and a bit expensive($ 34 for two pizzas). When we arrived home it was still warm(being 95* out may have helped!). The toppings were good though the pepperoni was a bit bland. The crust was a bit undercooked which my mom, a big fan of the pizza here, said was unusual. It may also have softened because of all the toppings we added or because it was 12:30 on a Sunday and the ovens may not have been hot enough? Also a plus is that they don’t skimp on the takeout boxes so the car does not get pizza stains from the box. The pizza itself was not at all greasy. So overall a good pizza restaurant that is more like a 3.5 than a 3 and maybe even a four on a better crust day.
