It seems like their style has changed over the last two years for the worse. All my life I have found their white cake or yellow cake with chocolate frosting to be one of my favorite store bought desserts. Yet lately I have been disappointed every time I go there. Most of the time they do not even have a selection of real cake items to choose from. Their cases seem full of items that they never used to carry and the good items we always bought seem to be different. In addition, the cannoli’s seem to be a crap shoot as I feel they are sometimes wonderfully fresh and other times they are pure mush.

Wow, they have THE best cakes in RI. Try their white cake with chocolate frosting in between the layers. When I first tried this cake, I was expecting a plain white cake, but it’s actually slightly ALMOND flavor. It’s amazing! All the born and bred Rhode Islanders I meet swear by this bakery. It’s amazing.
