No wifi. And service was friendly once they realize you are there. Great location and ambiance. Liked it very much and people are very friendly. Will keep trying

Picked up a box of assorted pastries here for a NYE party and they were a hit! The brownies, peanut butter brownies, cupcakes, lemon squares, chocolate sticks, fruit squares, almond cookies, chocolate cookies, snowflake cookies, cookies of all kinds, need I go on? It’s such a thrill for me in general to walk into a bakery and pick out an assortment of little desserts. It’s a perfect ‘something’ to bring to someone’s house. A definite crowd pleaser. Something exceptional about this night though, as I walked into this little bakery on NYE night around ten of closing(oops!), it was literally display case after display case with lights off and empty. I made a joke to the friendly girl working there about how it must have been a busy night, and her expression said it all. I became a little nervous nothing good would be left… Boy, was I wrong! They were practically wiped out(a good sign of a great bakery!), but the exceptional thing is… It was still an aforementioned thrill of an experience to walk in there and gather over a dozen assorted desserts. They sure didn’t feel(or taste!) like the ones left behind. The girl was excited as I picked more and more out because she was clearing out trays and emptying more cases! The choices were still on point, and all those examples I named above made it into the purchase. I definitely want to venture back to this bakery, on a non-holiday, not ten minutes before closing time though! If I was blown away under those circumstances, I can only imagine heaven awaits when I make it there for a fully stocked experience. Check out DeLuise Bakery. A perfect Italian bakery in the heart of Cranston, a city known for their delicious Italian culture and cuisine. This bakery does not disappoint. DeLuise represents.

I went yesterday and spent $ 75 on pastries and pizza. I can offer a few things. Their wine and pepper biscuits are the best store made biscuits ever. $ 5.50 a dozen is the most I’ve ever paid for biscuits, but they are very good. Coronets are delicious. They had a real cream filling and were delicious. Lobster tails were crispy, stuffed with cream, and very good. Coffee rolls were good. I thought they had too much glaze though. Pizza and spinach pies were ok. The pizza was oily. I got oil all over unwrapping each slice from its plastic wrap. I had to toast it to crisp it up and then it was ok. I didn’t care for the sauce. Every bakery has a sheet pizza with soggy thick crust and a bland topping. Guess I just don’t care for them. Spinach pies had better dough. Probably the same, but crispy and dry. Plain spinach inside. Pastries and biscuits were much, much better.

I am from California visiting Rhode Island. This bakery is so delicious! All of their pastries and pizza are baked fresh every morning. It’s affordable prices and it’s very friendly service.

I have been here 6 or 7 times and everything was fresh and tasty. Today I was disappointed. I purchased a chocolate pastry twist(not sure if name right), made from pie crust dough and chocolate and chocolate chips filling. It was very good. Fresh and what I expected for taste. I also tried a chocolate cake roll for the first time. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to the standards I am use to from DeLuise Bakery in Cranston. The cake was stale and dry on the outside of the roll. In the middle it wasn’t as dry but you could tell it wasn’t fresh. The frosting was overly sweet, dry and crusty on the outside. A small frosting drop decoration was so dry it fell of in the box. Not the quality I am use to from this bakery. The inside was clean and the help was very friendly, kind and engaging. I imagine it must be difficult to manage baked goods to sell on a daily biases, but this chocolate cake roll was clearly not fresh and should not have been sold. Please sell me fresh baked goods even if the selection is reduced, don’t sell me stale products. I will go to this bakery again. I just may not try products which may not sell as quickly as others. Both item were tried within hours of purchase.

Please don’t let the number of stars fool you, I love this place. I tried this bakery because it is really close and local, all good things. My first visit there was right after it reopened after Zaccangini’s closed. The cases were bare, they had run out of spinach pies, and all that was left was bread. This was fine because I was really there to scope out the scene and glad I didn’t feel obligated to buy something I didn’t really want. Every visit since has been an improvement. The cases are much more full these days with donuts, eclairs, cupcakes, etc. I love going here for bread and sweets, but my true weakness is the pizza rounds. At first I was hesitant, but I was hungry. It was DELICIOUS. The sauce to crust ratio was perfect. The sauce was perfectly sweet. By itself, it is a great snack, or pair it with a salad for a solid lunch. Another favorite is the cinnamon roll. If you can get them on the«day old», WHAT A STEAL! Nuke them for 15 seconds and enjoy that little piece of heaven. I can’t speak on the the actual prices because items aren’t individually labeled, but they are cheap and delicious. I haven’t tried the cakes or pies. I would love to give this bakery more stars because I really do love this place. However, I think they are still adjusting after the reopening and aren’t fully set yet. My stars would increase if: –items were priced –the interior was jazzed up a little(very plain) I will frequent this place as long as it stands. The baked goods are great and the service matches that. The women who work there during the day are very sweet, easy to talk to and willing to answer questions. Give this place a try. Simple but sweet.
