So when you first walk in, there is a counter and the chefs are cooking on the other side of it. Me and my family(party of 6) walked in and the chef looked at us, rolled his eyes and sighed. I was so ready to leave and go to T’s restaurant until i was greeted by an extremely friendly waitress. The food tasted okay but nothing that i would come back for. Especially after the chef made me feel so unwelcome. Two stars for the waitress!

Really good place for breakfast and lunch, I’ve never had a bad meal. Sometimes it is very busy especially Sundaymornings, very very good omelettes! Sometimes it is pretty busy and when there are a lot of people with little kids it seems like it is very hectic, sometimes it is very loud there

This place is a decent spot if you want to get in, get out and have a full belly. The food is good, not phenomenal, but solid staples of breakfast-y goodness with a fun kids menu.

Do not go to this restaurant ever! They are thieves! Twice I have eaten here and both times the waitresses have added tip onto my receipt. First time I came here was over a year ago. My boyfriend and I left a $ 5 tip in cash(20% of our bill) and paid the bill on his card. When we checked his bank account the day after, they added $ 5 of tip to his credit card! We were absolutely furious! Yesterday, I made the mistake of going there again but this time by myself because I was craving breakfast. I added a 16% tip using my credit card and today, saw that they had increased it to 20%. This is just stealing at its finest and I will report them. If you go, I suggest paying everything in cash. And for stupid price comparison wise, I am gluten free and the waitress said they had gluten free waffles so I got one. A regular waffle is $ 5 – 6. I paid $ 9 freaking dollars for a GF waffle. Way to increase the price tremendously for someone who is just trying to watch a gluten allergy.

Pancakes and waffles are always fresh and fluffy. Their roast beef dinner special is amazingly tender and juicy. Fish n chips on Fridays — crisp fresh and a huge potion. Slaw and tartar sauce made in house. Lunch my fave is the tuna club on Rye. Corned beef is also made in house and excellent with eggs over easy! I’ve known most of the wait staff for over 9 years. Great service! Quick to fill your coffee and get you anything else to make your meal complete.

My family and I prefer this place over T’s, and although scramblers does not have the new modern feel of other places it’s also nothing like some dirty dinner. The staff have always been pleasant and courteous to us. Now that I have commented to the the contrary of many post I read earlier. I will say this is a low key restaurant that has a family friendly environment. They always have daily specials, the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Nothing special, kind of got that dirty diner feel and my pancakes were burnt. I’de rather go to T’s down the road…

Very rood staff is all that I can say here! We were looking forward to a nice meal after visiting Starbucks for a coffee. When greeted by the hostess she barked«you can’t bring THOSE drinks in here!» I have been in the restaurant business my entire life and I am just in utter shock that any owner would staff such a nasty person! Too bad I even have to give one star…

The breakfast here was very good, I got the Apple French toast and the portions we’re so huge that I had leftovers for 2 more meals! The waitress was somewhat rude though, which takes away from being a perfect breakfast experience.

Came here on our way to do some Xmas shopping at garden city. I immediately thought I’d been here because its a converted IHOP. We were seated quickly, greeted with a very friendly waitress and given some coffee. There is nothing bad about this place, but nothing great aside from the service. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and our coffees were replenished regularly. If you’re in the area, give them a try. Won’t be disappointed.

Good place for a lazy weekend breakfast! There’s standard greasy spoon breakfast fare here — eggs & toast, pancakes, waffles, etc. My wife & I come here once a month.

Fantastic! Great service, decent parking if you go after the weekend breakfast post church rush. A real homey feel to it, and in an A-frame! Lots of regulars and adorable elderlies. The food is what you’d expect, and it’s done right. They fry their english muffins-love that, the potatoes are really good, and there is just the right ratio of salt and butter on the toast. Used to be an IHOP where my teenage self nursed many a cup o’joe for hours on end.
