Visionworks is running this Buy One Get One Free ad for the month so off we went to see what they had to offer.
As soon as I asked about the Buy one Get One Free we were suddenly in the land of the unknown pricing.
The ad states buy one complete pair of eyeglasses or RX sunglasses & get a second pair free. I was told if you use that sale you have to pay «straight Retail» which is apparently not the price you would pay if you were buying a single pair off glasses with no second pair free??? I was puzzled and kept asking where is my free pair and she kept saying that the price was so high because the sale was for straight retail. It doesn’t say this in the ad.
They wanted 745.00 for glasses that had a 139.00 frame. That makes it 600.00 for lenses. I have never paid that for a pair of glasses in my life. How is that Buy One Get One Free???
False advertising. When we were there about 5 other people walked out also.
