Sooooo good. Great food. Great service. We came on a Saturday and the place was packed but service was prompt. The coffee is great. Definite stop for breakfast!

Excellent food, and very enjoyable atmosphere and service! We had the shrimp sandwich and a burger. My side salad had mix greens, tomatoes, beets… surprisingly well made for a side! Loved the potato squad too. We are just passing through, and would definitely stop here again!

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Right next to our hotel. Ended up having every meal here because everything was so good. Fantastic clam chowder, creamy with a great flavor. Unreal good burger with bacon, avocado, & cheese. Fries are cooked in rice oil which gave a nice flavor.

Best split pea soup I have ever had! The quiche was perfect too! The best part of all was they had my favorite tea — the one I have been searching for since my honeymoon!

Surprisingly… not bad. Ever since the amazing Hensel’s closed, I’ve had a heck of a time finding a decent place to eat in Crescent City. Stopped by Good Harvest yesterday and ordered the fish sandwich with clam chowder. Although the sandwich could use some seasoning, it came with a huge piece of snapper and was pretty good. The clam chowder was tasty and much better than Chart House. The young man and woman that greeted me and took my order were very nice. Until I find something better, I guess this is my go to place to eat when I’m in town.

Just passing through, second time in several years, had dinner last night, and breakfast this morning. No complaints, delivered on all points. Service, quality and value. Friendly and warm. Fresh ingredients. Well executed.

Decided to go here because it was recommended by the hotel we’re staying at. I loved it! Love the ambience, great service, and definitely great, delicious food. I ordered the fish tacos, and they’re really good! Glad that we went here for our dinner date.

Great breakfast and atmosphere. They also have very good microbrews on tap. Some dishes are not as good as others so it depends on what you get at dinner time if it will be awesome or just ok. Really like this place

My son and I stopped by for lunch at 1:30. Service was extremely poor. I ordered a Diet Coke and my son ordered water with lemon. My Coke was flat and they served my son a small gas of water no ice and no lemon. Sent it back and my son got what he wanted I ordered an ice tea. The food was not great. The bread was not grilled very through. Salad was ok but they hid 2 pickle slices under the sprouts. Would not recommend. I think it is a favorite spot among locals. I guess not much choice in town.

Good food & friendly service. However, my food was a little cold & my appetizer came out at the same time as my meal :/

This place is still the tops for Crescent City! Breakfast fave is the Santa Fe Scramble. Delightful atmosphere, good servers, or if not quick, then down-home. These people live in the area or in town, so talk to them! Now they have all meals, and our family, when we go camping every August nearby, we come for dinner.

I might not normally give a place like this 5 stars but considering it’s a coastal restaurant I was super impressed with their menu. Super vegetarian/vegan friendly. the California Benedict was great

So first, when you eat clam chowder and get a little grit or sand, that’s a good thing. It means the chowder is made with fresh clams that are not processed. The chowder was yummy and not full of sand but one bite I got some. It reminded me of Betty Hill’s chowder when I was a kid. We would go dig up clams at low tide and she would make chowder for me and Harry Rawlings. He was my summer best friend in Cayucos. No matter how much we cleaned those clams, there was always a little sand. This chowder took me back to some of my fondest childhood memories. Canned chowder is NOT what they do here. The restaurant is clean and I was seated really quickly. Service was very quick too. The server is really nice and keeps an eye out for me. She gave a great beer recommendation after I told her what I like. I so appreciate that she cribellum listened to me and was interested in helping me get just the perfect selection. Her name is Carole. She deserves a raise! A few years ago I had breakfast here with some coworkers and they were good then too. As I look around, I see a bunch of locals. That is a good sign too. The New York Steak was perfectly cooked. Steamed veggies were obviously never frozen, and the fries were standard fries. Overall a great Dining experience. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Just was not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered the Santa Fe burger with pasta salad. I liked the pasta salad. That’s it. I thought the burger would be spicy, and it wasn’t. Maybe that’s my fault. I put hot sauce on the burger which kicked it up a few notches but… yeah. As many have mentioned, the place just feels like it needs a good scrubbing. I saw dirt and food all over the floor as we were being seated. Would I stop back? Nope. You’re almost better going to mcdonalds. The one good thing… the waitress was very nice and attentive.

There’s nothing I can say that’s bad about this restaurant! The service was excellent, The salads we ordered were perfection, and so was the soup which was chicken tortilla. We ordered the chef salad and it was loaded with the most fabulous meats! This was no lunch meat, this was the real deal. I ordered mine with just turkey and the turkey was almost like it was slice right off the turkey breast! Our waitress was so kind and nice! They really made you feel at home here and the food was just great. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who’s in Crescent city!

Great breakfast spot. Coffee was drinkable but not something I would seek. I ordered a small California Benedict and it was really good. I like that they had a small version which is one Benedict instead of two. The California had avocado, sautéed spinach, tomato, a perfectly poached egg and sprouts on top of the hollandaise sauce. Very good! Anthony had the ham and cheese omelette which was simple but good as well. Food good, coffee, not so much

The Good Harvest here is the line of customers waiting to get in to plunk down cash for questionable food. I ordered dinner here — fresh salmon: $ 22 Everything was overcooked. The salmon was tasteless — the rice was overcooked as were the vegetables. I told the waitress who was quite young and only interested that I didn’t care for the food — not the technical details of the dry flakes of salmon or the yellow tinge of color around the broccoli where the color was bleed out from steaming it too long. Salmon is so damn easy to cook and to do that to a piece of fresh salmon is criminal. The local Pinot was good — and she gave me a free glass because I complained about the dinner. Sofie had the same as I did and her food was overcooked also. She had fries rather than rice — and the fries was over seasoned so that she could not eat them. On the upside, the table next to us ordered salmon and it appeared that their fish was properly cooked — so we surmise the waitress spread the news of customer satisfaction to the cook. This place may have possibilities for breakfast, but I’d not eat here for dinner. The logistics for service are dismal. The place does not seem to be designed for serving massive amounts of people that come there. As it is, I doubt anyone who works there cares. It appears that only tourist eat there… locals come there to drink. Good Harvest Café is a memorable experience — unfortunately, it’s a bad memory. Find some other place to eat.

Hand down the worst place I have been in a long time!!! Was sent here by someone at visitor center. Also had good Unilocal reviews. We arrived at 230pm. Came in and waited 10mins before anyone talked to us. Asked how many in our party. There was only 2 of us. There were 5 tables empty but need to be cleaned. Staff running around with there heads cut off. People were seated before us same size group but came in after us. A guy point at a table free and we sat down. Took a long time to get water. I ordered a club sandwich with french fries. I asked for no tomato or mayonnaise on my sandwich. My wife ordered a half grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of vegetable soup. Food arrived and my sandwich had mayonnaise on it. The bread was a whole-grain bread not advertise on the menu. On the menu and said a cheese was a Colby Jack and on the sandwich I got one slice of cheddar and one slice of Swiss. The ham on the sandwich was that consistency of rest cheap meat. I requested yellow mustard but the server never came back. When he didn’t remember I explain how about the mayonnaise and he went to correct it. I finished a sandwich but only because I was starving not because it tasted very good. The bacon was overcooked and falling out of the sandwich and the meat was overwhelmingly bad. My wife’s grill cheese sandwich consisted of white bread and Kraft singles cheese not completely melted. In her own words she said it tasted like they put butter on it and toasted it in the toaster. Her soup had spilled out of the cup and into her pasta salad. Taste like it came out of a can and the pasta salad was lukewarm and not appealing. Other than the fact that the food was bad and the service was horrible. The restaurant is quite dirty. I went to the bathroom and there’s toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor, it didn’t appear to have been cleaned in quite a while. After we were seated the blinds which were wooden were covered in dust and food. I’m not Rob but he was here and wrote it on the blinds. They haven’t cleaned it since. My wife wrote the date so they know the how long it’s been since it has been cleaned. Overall the entire place had garbage and food on the ground dirty windows Dusty blinds and so forth and so on. I would not recommend this place to anyone whether it be A local or a traveler. I would’ve talk to the manager but there didn’t seem to be anyone in charge and trying to find someone just to pay the check was a difficulty.

Likely will restate what many others have already said, but there wasn’t a lot of options here. When I’m on the coast I want a great seafood dinner and an enjoyable experience. We were a group of three tonight and stood for awhile before someone finally acknowledged us… yes it was busy, but a simple greeting is all it takes. Calamari appetizer was delicious and I highly recommend. Tender and a large portion. Chowder was full of clams, creamy and good… but the flavoring was so not a clam chowder. don’t get me wrong. It was definitely a good chowder of sorts but… well I wish I could better describe it. Also wish I could have tasted clams. Two of us opted for the salmon special… a ginger glazed something or other. A nice size piece of fish and very tasty… I chose rice thinking it’d be a pilaf of sorts… nope. Just a large portion of flavorless minute type brownish rice. Choose the baked potato! Steamed veggies were limp and unseasoned. Service was slow at best with difficulty getting waters refilled. Price for the special was very reasonable… much of the menu looked quite spendy…
