Ridiculous!!! Clerks move like molasses, dumb as hey can be and rude as hell. One register open, had to wait while she learned to read. I’d say 8th grade at best. I wonder how many people avoid this place because of how long it takes to checkout. This isn’t the first time, every time I’ve stopped there it’s the same bs! I swore I’d never go back but I was a few still doors down and figured what the heck. Big mistake, it won’t happen again. I will never go back and would encourage you not to go as well unless time means nothing to you.

Harbor Freight employees are rude as a rule. I have never encountered one who knew what customer service is. They don’t like to honor their coupons. It is a good place to go to save money on small items, but most of their tools are off brands and you get what you pay for. The Pittsburgh line of sockets is good, but their other lines aren’t so good. For quality it is a good idea to go to Sears or other place with well known and tested tools. For fuses, gloves, screws, O-rings and other small items, Harbor Freight is ok. Expect to wait in line a long time as they always only have 1 cashier and the«managers» don’t like to help out. Also, don’t expect the employees to know anything about the tools.

Worst customer service ever. After waiting in line for 15 minutes while the extremely SLOW cashier checked out ONE person it was finally my turn. I asked the cashier if they had a certain brand of power drill. I couldn’t find anyone in the store to ask besides her.(This was three days before Christmas!) She asked the manager through the headset and then told me they did carry the brand. I stepped out of line and waited for the manager to show me where to find the drill. She walked up to us and very rudely asked me what I wanted. I explained again what I needed and she told me they don’t have that item and stormed away. I was pretty irritated at that point. By that time the line had gotten 5 deep so I went to the end of the line and waited another 20 minutes before the manager decided to open up a second check out. She checked me out while muttering the whole time about how she shouldn’t have to be. I showed her the free flashlight coupon that was on retailmenot and she again was very short and rude to me telling me she couldn’t take that. I asked her why not and she said I just can’t. She then told me to go find the ad scattered around the store to get the coupon in a not so nice manner. I was not getting out of line again. I was done with this store at that point. This lady needs fired. I will stick with Ace and Home Depot and never shop at this store again.
