I was too drunk on sake to remember our meal, but the leftovers were delicious! It was packed on a Friday night, so go in the offseason or earlier in the week.

We had the opportunity to eat at Ryce Asian Bistro over the President’s Weekend. It was wonderful place to eat. You get heaping plenty of food. We had enough to take back to the condo and eat lunch the next day. The service was wonderful. The owner is actually working right on the floor with the other servers.(We had been told by our shuttle driver that Ryce is actually run by Asian people. He said they know what they are doing and fixing.) We ordered Crab Wontons and Dumplings for our small dish. Super tasty and GOOD. Each of our party of 4 got different things. I can speak to my plate called the Fourteener. It was soooooo good. Everyone in our group, loved it. The other dishes that are worth a try were the Classic Fried Rice with chicken and Shrimp, Thai Curry Noodles. We had been told by the shuttle driver to definitely try the Drunken Noodles Dish. She got with steak and shrimp. It was VERY good. This place is a place we will go back for sure. We actually considered going there twice, but wanted to make sure we tried different places on the trip. This is a MUST try when in Crested Butte, Colorado!!!

OVERALL: Ryce Asian Bistro is a fantastic place to satisfy your Chinese/Thai food cravings! The place has a nicer ambience but is actually a pretty casual place. They dishes are family size and meant for sharing, but if you just love food, love asian food, or are simply famished, then one main dish will be perfect for you! They have a good selection of food for vegetarians and meat-lovers alike, and they are accommodating towards special dietary needs or desires. PROS: Their large portions for their main dishes are nice. As mentioned before, it makes it easy to have a «family style» dinner or if you’re super hungry, the portions work out well. Their food selection has a pretty wide range including pork, chicken, shrimp, tofu, and veggie dishes. The have a full bar and a full waiter/waitressing service. *I have only ever gone in the evening/dinner time and the sooner you get the the better if you wish to avoid the crowds. You can can order take out! Yay! CONS: The noise and the crowds. If you get there at 5pm, you’re golden. 5:30ish means that you got there just before the crowds. 6pm means that you’re lucky if you get seated right away and it can be hard to hear the hostess. Despite this, this is only because they have great food! When they get busy, the quality of service decrease slightly, but that is expected of any popular/crowed restaurant. NOTES: You can order take out! Yay! There is no parking specifically for this restaurant, so you have to park on Elk Avenue(the main street) or on one of the adjacent streets. They are located near the«farther side» or the«end» of town, but don’t let that stop you from exploring downtown Crested Butte! Its only a block and a half away! *Although I am not a local to Crested Butte, I have been coming here during both the summers and winters since 2002.

Fantastic. I love the variety of Asian food and the food itself is great. We started with egg rolls and they were delicious. Just the right amount of crispy. I also had the hot and sour soup, which was very flavorful as well. I had the Pad See Ew and my friend had their Generals Chicken. Both were delightful. Thumbs up from us.

The food is incredible! Unfortunately the wait staff is not. I felt like I was a nuisance to the server. I asked for a new«clean» plate and almost had to get up and get one myself. Since I was eating without a sharing plate, some rice fell on the table. When she finally brought me a clean plate, she shoveled the rice that fell on the table with my fork, onto my clean plate and expected me to eat it. I love CB, and usually have a good experience. However, this place has some kinks to work out. Best of luck if u decide to eat here. Never again.

Friendly, popular place that has inexpensive options for food! Ordered the Vietnamese Egg roll which was very tasty and a bit over cooked. Nice wine selection and checking out dessert!

What a pleasant surprise to find such good Asian food in the mountains! At the top end of the main street in town, there was street parking but also a public lot not far away. We sat at the bar since the place was hopping at 8pm on Friday night; got great service from April the bartender. I had the Fiery fried rice without the jalapeño – it was perfect in spiciness with a good amount of veggies. Husband had Pad See Ew, which he said had good flavor and lots of broccoli. Definitely recommend this place!

Great food at reasonable prices. It is very busy so I recommend reservations. They have delicious drinks and a nice variety on their menu. I had the crab wantons and sizzling steak and both were delicious. Their outside patio is very cute. I will be back.

Service is incredibly slow, hope you’re not in a hurry. Food is middle of the road, I eat a lot of thai and this was just okay, not bad, not good. Extra spicy means medium fyi… maybe order ultra, extra, super duper spicy instead? The patio is nice…

Not the best service when they are busy but food is better than the«other» Asian joint in CB… Some of the dishes are really yummy, some are ok, you just need to know what to order. four star for food, 2 for service. we have been there 3 times in the past year, sat at the bar every time, so can’t speak for the service on the main floor.

For pragmatic visitors who don’t come to Crested Butte to show off their Texas money, this is one of the finest restaurants in Crested Butte above all others. I’ve only had excellent tasting food on my numerous visits and will always return. The service is 5 star(gold), the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. You can tell by the way customers enter the front door that they are excited to be back at such a welcoming dining establishment. My favorites are the jalepeno sirloin and the tropical rice.

We asked if they could make some vegan items for us… And it was great! The Mongolian Tofu, the Rice Bowl and the Eggplant dish were all amazing! Martina’s are also great! Dog friendly too!

Split a meal, trust me! We had the fourteener, each had a soup and split the crab appetizer and were so stuffed! All were delicious and just how we remembered. My dad had the sweet and sour chicken which isn’t on the menu but they pleasantly prepared for him… He could barely eat half of it, so again, remember to split your meal or be prepared to have leftovers.

Don’t leave Crested Butte without eating here. It’s that good. I love thai food. Especially drunken noodles. I have ordered these at just about every thai restaurant I have ever been to and these were the best I have ever had. If you have ordered drunken noodles and said«awww…I wish this was a bigger serving», then this is the place for you. A huge bowl of it. Usually I have to convince the waitstaff at thai restaurants that I would like my food very spicy. I did the same here, and they just about put me in the hospital it was so hot. This is intended as a compliment. I was sweating and smiling. Great service, reasonably priced, friendly staff. It’s one of those restaurants I will be dying to return to when we go back to CB. My wife ordered the basil chicken, hot and sour soup, and gyoza. All were excellent.

Food was great! We came in with some friends and tried a bunch of dishes family style. All the dishes were great: Kung Pao chicken, shrimp curry, orange chicken and drunken noodles. They have a good lunch menu too. Just had the Fourteener: for $ 13, it was a good portion size of chicken, shrimp, beef and scallops. Flavor is really good. Excited there’s such a solid Asian restaurant in CB. Service was good too.
